Andris Biedrins has been improving every season since he came into the league in 2004-05.

When you think of the current top NBA rebounding centers, who comes to mind?
Certainly, Dwight Howard and Marcus Camby. Maybe Yao Ming, Andrew Bogut, Chris Kaman or Shaquille O'Neil.
You would probably have to think awhile before you said Andris Biedrins, but the Golden State center is third in rebounding with 12.0 rpg. He's also contributing in other areas, putting up a respectable 14.0 ppg, 2.2 apg and 1.6 blocks.
The 6'11 center from Riga, Latvia has been improving every season since he came into the league in 2004-05. He has increased both his points-per-game and rebounds-per-game in each season. But until last season he was not a viable fantasy option.
Now he is not only a viable option, but one of the better ones at the No.5 position. Biedrins has recorded 22 double-doubles this season, fourth overall behind Howard (29), guard Chris Paul (25) and forward David Lee (25).
He's hitting a solid 55.6% from the field, but one area which is pulling down his overall score is at the free throw line where he is shooting a "Dwight Howard-like" 56.4 % (Normally I would use an O'Neal reference there, but the Suns' center is hitting over 62.3% of his free throws so far this season).
Biedrins is owned in about 97% of the leagues, so he is not available for pickup, but I would like to think that because he doesn't have a "big name" he might be available for a reasonable trade.
