Description: The Cowboys fear that middle linebacker Sean Lee may be lost for the season. SOURCE: Nick Eatman, DallasCowboys.com
Insight: Neck injuries should always be taken seriously, so it might be in Lee's best long-term interest to sit out these last two games (or more if Dallas makes the postseason). The Cowboys' defense was disastrous without him in Week 15 and could very well suffer the same fate Sunday against Washington.
Description: Cowboys linebacker Justin Durant left Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.
Insight: Just what Dallas needed - anothe injury at linebacker. They were already without their best "backer" in Sean Lee and also lost Ernie Sims in the game to a neck injury. No wonder Eddie Lacy ran so well.
Description: Cleveland cornerback Joe Haden suffered a hip pointer Sunday against the Bears, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Haden had his hands full with the bigger Brandon Marshall on Sunday but is one of the top coverage corners in the NFL.
Insight: It won't mean much if Haden has to miss Week 16 as few fantasy owners are starting Santonio Holmes anyway, but it would help Antonio Brown in Week 17.
Description: Seattle linebacker K.J. Wright will need surgery on his broken foot, according to coach Pete Carroll.
Insight: The injury is of a 1-2 month variety which means he might be able to return if the Seahawks go deep into the playoffs. While Seattle has been able to withstand injuries to the secondary, they aren't as deep at linebacker.
Description: Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie suffered a head injury in Sunday's game.
Insight: Cromartie stayed on the field all game, but after the game the injury came to light. If its a concussion he'll obviously have to go through the protocol before being allowed to play against Carolina next weekend.
Description: The Giants are going to again be without defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul Sunday against San Diego.
Insight: Pierre-Paul is battling a shoulder injury. It's the second game Pierre-Paul has missed in four NFL seasons. Pierre-Paul recorded 16.5 sacks two seasons ago but is only on pace for three in 2013. Still, he's a good pass rusher and his absence should help Philip Rivers and the Chargers passing offense.
