Notes:
2008: Selected by Indiana in 1st round (11th overall) of the NBA Draft; Draft rights traded to Portland in a four-player deal, July 9th...2010: Traded to New Orleans for a future 1st round pick, Oct. 23rd; Traded to Toronto in a five-player deal, Nov. 20th...2012: Signed with Memphis to a two-year deal worth $6.1 million, July 11th.

Bayless, who became the first player in Arizona history to score at least 30 points in three consecutive games, has opted to enter the NBA Draft after just a single season with the Wildcats...Named an All-American by several national publications, Bayless leaves Tucson without ever having a chance to be coached by Lute Olson who took a year off to deal with personal issues...Averaged 19.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists per game in 30 opportunities and became the top-scoring freshman in program history with his 592 points...Does well to find teammates for open shots, but Bayless is just as comfortable slicing his way to the rim and finishing with powerful dunks that make him seem much taller than he is...Teams terrific open-court speed with great leaping ability and strong ball-handling to rid himself of defenders...Critics accuse Bayless of settling for contested perimeter shots far too often, especially for someone who possesses such talent.
