Crawford, Clippers rip Mavericks

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Some guys go an entire career without recording a four-point play.

Jamal Crawford tallied his NBA record 34th during the Los Angeles Clippers' 112-90 rout of the Dallas Mavericks.

Crawford netted 20 overall for the Clippers, who have won four straight on the heels of a four-game skid.

Reggie Miller is second on the NBA all-time list with 24 career four-point plays.

Blake Griffin had 19 points and 13 rebounds, while Chris Paul added 14 points, 13 assists and five steals in the victory.

"I think our starters did a better job tonight. I thought we did a pretty good job for four quarters," Griffin said.

Chris Kaman, who spent the first eight years of his career with Los Angeles, played his first game at the Staples Center against his old club and finished with 14 points for Dallas, which has dropped four of its last five.

"They were more physical than us. We fragmented at the wrong times," Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle said.

Another former Clipper, Elton Brand, registered four points and nine rebounds in defeat.

After hitting a 3-pointer on Los Angeles' prior trip down the floor, Crawford's four-point play from the right corner capped an elongated 24-8 stretch, which gave the home team a 53-35 advantage.

Los Angeles took a 60-42 margin into the break and an 83-68 edge into the final frame.

Dallas never cut the deficit below double figures in the second half.

The Clippers led, 29-18, after a quarter of play.

Game Notes

Brand is first on the Clippers' all-time list in rebounds (4,710), while Kaman is fifth (4,109) ... Caron Butler, who won a ring with the Mavs in 2010-11, poured in 16 points ... Los Angeles netted 26 points off 22 Dallas turnovers.
