Insight: Voynov led all Kings defensemen with 25 points in 48 games this past regular season. He was especially productive during the playoffs, notching six goals and seven assists in 18 games.
Ryan Murray, D, CLB6/18/2013 2:07:00 PM
Description: According to BlueJackets.NHL.com, defenseman Ryan Murray's injured shoulder is "back to 100 percent" and he should be ready to go once training camp starts in September.
Insight: The No. 2 overal pick in the 2012 NHL Draft suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in November and underwent surgery on Jan. 10. The 19-year-old will have a shot to make Columbus' team this fall.
Mark Streit, D, PHI6/17/2013 7:30:00 PM
Description: TSN's Darren Dreger reports that the Flyers have reached an agreement with defenseman Mark Streit on a new four-year deal.
Insight: He'll be making $5.25 million annually, which amounts to $21 million over four seasons. The Flyers acquired Streit (six goals, 21 assists in 48 games) from the Islanders last Wednesday. New York got a 2014 fourth-round draft pick to complete the trade.
P.K. Subban, D, MON6/15/2013 9:29:00 PM
Description: Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban officially is the winner of the 2013 Norris Trophy.
Insight: Subban was the No. 1 blueliner in fantasy hockey with 11 goals, 38 points, 57 PIM, 126 SOG and a +12 in 42 games this season, and now he has been recognized as the top defenseman in the NHL. The 24-year-old should win a few more of these before it is all said and done.

Insight: He should be back to normal in about four weeks. Del Zotto led all Rangers defensemen with 21 points during the regular season.

Description: The Flyers have acquired the rights to defenseman Mark Streit from the Islanders.
Insight: Streit will become an unrestricted free agent on July 5. The veteran blueliner had 27 points in 48 games last season, but he is a -41 over the last two seasons.

Description: According to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos, Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban is the NHL's 2013 Norris Trophy recipient.
Insight: Subban is plenty deserving of the award. The blue liner contributed 11 goals and 27 assists in 42 games for the Habs this past season. He also had 57 penalty minutes, 11th-most among NHL defensemen.

Insight: Josi will earn $4 million annually for a total of $28 million over the next seven seasons. The 23-year-old had five goals and 13 assists in 48 games this past season.

Insight: Gonchar was acquired Friday in a trade with Ottawa. The veteran registered 27 points this past season, 12th-best among NHL defensemen.

Description: The Senators have traded Sergei Gonchar to Dallas for a conditional sixth-round draft pick.
Insight: Gonchar reportedly has been weighing offers from KHL teams but likely would sign with Dallas or another NHL team if he gets a two-year deal. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Description: Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith has been suspended for Thursday night's Game 4 in Los Angeles. SOURCE: Chicago Sun-Times
Insight: In Game 3, Keith delivered a reckless high stick on Jeff Carter, which resulted in Carter receiving 21 stitches in his chin. Keith is eligible to return for Saturday's Game 5 back in Chicago.

Insight: His disciplinary hearing took place on Wednesday afternoon. We should hear what the decision is later tonight. Keith has ten points (one goal, nine assists) in 15 games this postseason.
