Description: Minnesota activated outfielder Aaron Hicks from the disabled list but immediately optioned him down to Double-A New Britain.
Insight: Hicks (.198, 1 HR, 9 RBI) strained his shoulder earlier this month. Even if he does get another chance with the Twins this year, Hicks won't be a fantasy option.

Description: Minnesota could be close to demoting outfielder Aaron Hicks. SOURCE: Minneapolis Star-Tribune
Insight: We imagine Hicks, who is hitting just .190 this season, will be sent down as soon as Sam Fuld returns from his concussion. Hicks still has a long career ahead of him but the Twins can't afford to keep trotting him out there when he's not hitting.

Description: Twins center fielder Aaron Hicks is questionable for Thursday afternoon's game against Texas due to a stiff lower back.
Insight: Hicks was a late scratch on Wednesday. He's still not producing much offensively, batting .195 with a homer, eight RBI and 13 runs scored, so this shouldn't change fantasy lineups. The Twins used rookie Danny Santana in center on Wednesday, who is off to a nice start to his major league career (.324, .807 OPS in 34 at-bats).

5/2/2014 4:15:00 PM
Description: The Twins have placed center fielder Aaron Hicks on the 7-day disabled list with a concussion.
Insight: Hicks suffered the injury in last night's loss to the Dodgers. Expect Sam Fuld (.259, 1 HR, 7 RBI) to take over in center field while he's out.

5/2/2014 10:44:00 AM
Description: Twins center fielder Aaron Hicks is expected to miss Friday's game against Baltimore due to concussion-like symptoms.
Insight: He was forced to leave Thursday's game with the Dodgers. Batting just .178 with a .575 OPS and two stolen bases, Hicks isn't on any fantasy radar screens.

Description: Twins center fielder Aaron Hicks smacked four hits Monday in a loss to the Rays.
Insight: He finished a home run away from the cycle. Hicks is only hitting .205 this season so don't put too much stock into one big game.

Description: Twins center fielder Aaron Hicks is is doubtful for Tuesday's game against Philadelphia with a strained left hamstring.
Insight: After a historically bad start (3-for-53), Hicks has been improving, batting .202 in May and .280 in June. It appears that the Twins' patience is starting to pay off.

5/29/2013 4:41:00 PM
Description: Twins center fielder Aaron Hicks is batting .202 with five homers in May.
Insight: That doesn't seem all the good, but considering he hit .113 with zero homers in April, we'll take it. The rookie is batting .161 with 17 RBI, 21 runs and four steals in 155 at-bats this season. We'll see if the Twins' patience with the 23-year-old pays off or if they eventually have to send him down.

5/22/2013 9:20:00 PM

Insight: It was the first homer of his major league career. The rookie won the center field job after a strong spring, but he started off 2-for-48 (.042) with 20 strikeouts and was bumped out of the leadoff spot. He's still looking for his first multi-hit game.
