Lee keeps rolling as Phillies best Nats

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - A 70-minute rain delay at the outset could not derail Cliff Lee, who won his seventh straight decision and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Washington Nationals, 4-2, in the middle installment of a three-game set.

Lee (9-2) gave up two runs on five hits in eight innings. He struck out nine and did not issue a walk en route to Philadelphia's second straight win and fourth in six.

Michael Young went 3-for-4 with three doubles. He also knocked in a run, the 999th of his career.

Ross Detwiler (2-5) went toe-to-toe with Lee before three runs in the sixth inning gave him the loss. Jayson Werth and Jeff Kobernus launched solo home runs for Washington.
