Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist had an off night, allowing three goals on 38 shots, but it was enough to force Game 7.
Insight: That's because New York scored seven goals, which is the most for the Rangers this postseason. Lundqvist wasn't bad as he actually made some really nice saves in key situations, but his final stat line was just ok. He has a .921 save percentage in what was his 11th victory this postseason. Game 7 is Friday.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist had, by far, his worst game of the postseason as he allowed six goals in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Lightning.
Insight: Lundqvist didn't play as bad as the final stat line suggests, but he only made 20 saves on 26 shots. Three of the six goals came on the power play and another one was on a breakaway opportunity that Tampa Bay generated despite being down two men. Lundqvist is now 9-5 this postseason. The series is tied, 1-1.
Description: Rangers center Derek Stepan extended his point streak to five games, but the Rangers lost Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, 6-2.
Insight: Stepan tied the game at one with a power-play goal in the first period, but Tampa Bay played with one fewer active forward, which really seemed to confuse the Rangers and their line changes. Stepan finished with five shots and a minus-two rating. The series is tied 1-1.
Description: Rangers center Derek Stepan had another key point in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Lightning on Saturday.
Insight: Stepan scored the first goal of the game with 13 seconds remaining in the second period. That was Stepan's four goal of the playoffs and fourth point in the last three postseason games. New York leads the series, 1-0.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist stopped 23 shots in the, 2-1, victory over the Lightning in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday.

Insight: Lundqvist only allowed a goal to Alex Ovechkin in the first period, which was an unstoppable shot. New York controlled much of the game in the third period, but Lundqvist had to make some nice saves in the beginning of overtime to keep the Rangers in it. This series was one of the best goaltending battles of recent memory. Lundqvist allowed more than two goals just once in this series. In the playoffs, he is 8-4 with a 1.60 GAA and .944 save percentage.
Description: Rangers center Derek Stepan scored the game-winner in overtime of Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Capitals.
Insight: Stepan won the faceoff and then slipped to the left side of the goal. The puck made its way to defenseman Keith Yandle, who took a slap shot from the point. Stepan pounced on the rebound and buried his shot passed a diving Branden Holtby. New York won, 2-1, and won the series, 4-3. The Rangers will face the Lightning in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist made 21 saves on 22 shots in Game 3 versus the Capitals, but it wasn't enough as Washington edged New York, 1-0.
Insight: The only goal Lundqvist allowed was a bad angle shot taken from Jay Beagle. The Capitals center just put the puck on goal from behind the net, and it bounced off Lundqvist's stretched out skate and into the net. Lundqvist is 5-3 with a .934 save percentage this postseason, but Washington leads the series, 2-1.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist played well in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals versus the Capitals, but he allowed a bad goal that cost New York the game.
Insight: With 1.3 seconds left, Joel Ward slipped the pick right below Lundqvist's pad to win, 2-1. Ward was wide open right in front of the net, but Ludnqvist usually stops that shot. Capitals take a, 1-0, series lead.
Description: Rangers winger Chris Kreider scored the game-winning goal in Monday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals versus the Penguins.
Insight: It didn't count as a power-play goal, but the Pittsburgh penalty had just ended, and they still didn't have five skaters defending. Marc Staal made a tremendous pass off the end boards behind Marc-Andre Fleury. The puck bounced to Kreider's skate, which he buried in the back of the net. New York leads the series, 2-1.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist didn't get a ton of work, but he stopped all the ones he had to in order for New York to win Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Monday versus the Penguins, 2-1.
Insight: Pittsburgh didn't get a shot on goal in the first 15 minutes of the game, and the Penguins only had 11 shots through the first two periods, but they turned it on in the third to record 13 shots on Lundqvist in the period. The Rangers netminder let one slip by with six minutes to go in regulation, but that was it. New York regains home ice and leads the series, 2-1.
Description: Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonaugh scored the game-winning goal in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Penguins.
Insight: McDonaugh took a shot from the point on the power play, and it just beat Fleury on his stick side. The shot didn't appear to deflect off anything, so it was probably a save Fleury should have made. The goal put the Rangers ahead, 2-0, at the end of the first period. Fleury and Pittsburgh responded, but the comeback fell short. The Rangers took Game 1, 2-1.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist had 24 saves in the Game 1 victory in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Penguins on Thursday.
Insight: Lundqvist didn't get much consistent work, but he made some quality saves when the Penguins turned up the heat in the second and third periods. The Rangers defense in front of Lundqvist is so good that Pittsburgh really didn't get a ton of great scoring chances.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist won his 30th game of the season on Saturday as New York beat Washington, 4-2.
Insight: Lundqvist made 22 saves in the victory to improve his record to 30-13-3. Fantasy owners were a bit disappointed with Lundqvist's numbers this season, but it wasn't his fault he missed so much time with his neck injury. Lundqvist and the Rangers appears poised for another deep playoff run.
Description: Rangers rookie winger Kevin Hayes had a goal and two assists in the, 4-2, victory over the Devils on Tuesday.
Insight: Hayes scored the first goal of the game and then assisted Ryan McDonaugh's goal on the power play. To cap off the great game, Hayes assisted Carl Hagelin's empty-netter. Hayes has 16 goals and 27 assists in 77 games this season.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist had 29 saves in the, 4-3, overtime victory ove the Blue Jackets on Monday.
Insight: Lunqvist did allow three goals in the victory, so his save percentage was just .906 and the GAA was just under three. Don't be surprised if the Rangers rest Lundqvist once or twice with three games remaining the Rangers pretty much guaranteed to be the top seed in the east.
Description: Rangers center Derek Stepan scored the game-winner in overtime versus the Blue Jackets on Monday.
Insight: Stepan scored on a pass from Keith Yandle with 50 seconds to go in overtime. The victory gives the Rangers 109 points, which is three more than Montreal and New York still has a game in hand. The Rangers appear to have the top seed in the east locked up. Stepan scored two goals on Monday and has 16 goals and 39 assists this season.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist beat the Wild and Devan Dubnyk on Thursday.
Insight: Lundqvist made 26 saves in the, 3-2, victory. Minnesota tied the game at two with about 14 minutes to go in the third period, but J.T. Miller responded for the Rangers less than a minute later. Lundqvist is 27-12-3 this season.
Description: Rangers winger Chris Kreider scored the game-winning goal Tuesday versus Winnipeg.
Insight: He did so with under four minutes left, and now has 21 goald 42 points, 86 penalty minutes, and a plus-18 rating through 74 games this season. Derick Brassard and Mats Zuccarello also tallied for New York.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist did not do well in his return to the ice on Saturday.
Insight: Lundqvist allowed four goals on 30 shots in the, 4-2, loss to the Bruins. It looked like obvious rust as Lundqvist yielded all those goals in the first 26 minutes of the game. Owners have nothing to worry about with him.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist will dress for Thursday's game versus the Senators according to the Bergen Record.
Insight: Normally third-string goaltender Mackenzie Skapski has been sent back to the AHL, so that means the Rangers are making a spot for Lundqvist. He will probably be the backup on Thursday and then start on either Saturday or Sunday.
Description: Rangers left wing Mats Zuccarello scored a goal during Tuesday's loss to the Kings.
Insight: Zuccarello also had two shots on goal and a minus-one rating on the night. He now has 13 goals, 44 points, 37 penalty minutes, and a plus-18 rating overall. Kevin Hayes also tallied for the Rangers.
Description: Rangers goaltender Cam Talbot made 36 saves in the, 7-2, victory over the Ducks on Sunday.
Insight: Talbot has just been tremendous for the Rangers. With this victory, New York appears to be the front runner for the President's Trophy. New York, Montreal and Ahaheim all have 99 points, but New York has played the fewest amount of games. Talbot is 19-7-4 this season, and owners should continue to start him until Henrik Lundqvist returns.
Description: Rangers center Derek Stepan scored a pair of goals and had an assist in the, 7-2, rout of the Ducks on Sunday.
Insight: Stepan led the Rangers with five shots on goal. He assisted Chris Kreider's goal in the first two minutes of the game and then he scored on the power play close to the six minute mark of the first period. Then, he scored an unassisted goal towards the end of the second period. Stepan has 13 goals and 33 assists with a plus-19 rating in 57 games this season.
Description: Rangers backup goaltender Cam Talbot had another phenominal game on Wednesday but lost to the Chicago Blackhawks, 1-0.
Insight: Talbot allowed just one goal in the third period. New York appeared to score a goal in the first period, but it was disallowed. Talbot has allowed just four goals in his last five starts, going 4-1-0 during that stretch. Unfortunately for owners riding Talbot's hot streak, Henrik Lundqvist could be returning soon.
Talbot is a remarkable 11-0-2 in his last 11 games, and is making a case to stay between the pipes. He is now 17-6-4 overall.
Description: Rangers backup goaltender Cam Talbot was excellent again in the, 2-1, victory over the Islanders.
Insight: Talbot made 29 saves, allowing just one goal. He is 15-6-4 as Henrik Lundqvist's replacement. With Lundqvist still without a timetable to return, fantasy owners should continue to ride Talbot's hot streak.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash scored the game-winning goal against the Islanders on Tuesday.
Insight: The victory moves the Rangers within a point of the Islanders for the Metropolitan Division lead and four fewer games played. Nash is second in the league with 39 goals. He also had 22 assists and a plus-24 rating.
Description: Rangers backup goaltender Cam Talbot was excellent on Sunday, stopped all 29 shots he faced to lead New York to a, 1-0, victory over Chicago.
Insight: It was the first time the Rangers shut out the Blackhawks in 46 years. Talbot is 14-6-4 this season and has been a servicable backup to Henrik Lundqvist, but Lundqvist should be returning sooner rather than later.
Description: Rangers backup goaltender Cam Talbot had a nice game, making 29 saves versus the Red Wings, but lost, 2-1.
Insight: Talbot gave up a power-play goal a couple minutes into overtime. Talbot is now 13-6-4. Although starter Henrik Lundqvist is getting closer, there is still no timetable for his return, so Talbot is the guy.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash scored a goal during Monday's win over the Predators.
Insight: Nash also managed four shots on goal and a plus-two rating on the night. He now has 38 goals, 59 points, and a plus-24 rating through 61 games. Chris Kreider, Dominic Moore, and Marc Staal also tallied for New York.
Description: The Rangers have acquired defenseman Keith Yandle from Arizona.
Insight: This is a massive deal, and will improve Yandle's fantasy value immediately. He already had four goals and 41 points this season but a poor minus-32 rating as well. His plus/minus ratio should improve right away. Anthony Duclair, John Moore, and draft picks went to the Coyotes.
Description: Rangers right wing Lee Stempniak scored two goals, including the game-winner on Thursday versus Arizona.
Insight: The game-winner came with under three minutes left in the game. Stempniak now has nine goals and 18 points through 52 games. He can be left on the wire. Chris Kreider also lit the lamp twice for the Rangers.
Description: Rangers backup goaltender Cam Talbot made 21 saves to pickup his first shutout of the season.
Insight: Talbot came into the game having won six of his last nine games, but his other numbers are terrible: 3.06 GAA and .895 save percentage. The shutout will certainly help those. Talbot should remain in fantasy lineups until Henrik Lundqvist returns.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash had a goal and an assist in Friday's, 3-1, victory over the Sabres.
Insight: The race to the Maurice Richard Trophy is really starting to heat up. Nash has scored three goals in his last four games to raise his total to 37 while Alex Ovechkin has five goals in his last four games and leads the league with 38 scores. Fantasy owners should be pleased to have either player on their team.
Description: Rangers winger Martin St. Louis had a goal and an assist in the shootout loss on Thursday versus the Canucks.
Insight: St. Louis assisted Derek Stepan's goal in the first period and then tied the game with a goal in the third period. Afterwards, New York took the lead, 4-3, on Carl Hagelin's goal, but Vancouver answered to send the game into overtime. St. Louis has 16 goals and 26 assists this season.
Description: Rangers defenseman Kevin Klein netted the game-winning goal Monday against the Islanders.
Insight: After Ryan Strome gave the Islanders a 5-3 third period lead, the Rangers went onto score three unanswered goals, with Klein capping the comeback off. He also had an assist and a plus-one rating, and now has nine goals, 25 points, and a plus-22 rating through 54 games.
Description: Rangers rookie winger Kevin Hayes scored for the third straight game on Saturday.
Insight: Hayes found the back of the net on the penalty kill as the Rangers scored four unanswered goals in the final period versus the Coyotes on Saturday. In addition to three consecutive games with a goal, he has five straight games with a point. Hayes has 10 goals and 15 assists in 51 games this season.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash increased his goal lead over Alex Ovechkin, scoring on Saturday versus the Coyotes.
Insight: Nash scored his 35th goal of the season at the 1:19 mark of the third period to give the Rangers a, 2-1, lead. New York scored three more goals in the period and won, 5-1. Nash has 20 assists and a plus-25 rating to go with his 35 goals in 54 games this season.
Description: Rangers rookie winger Kevin Hayes posted the first multi-point game of his career with a goal and two assists Thursday night.
Insight: The 22-year-old has put together a solid first season with nine goals and 15 assists in 50 games. Hayes has six points in the last four games. He doesn't see a lot of ice time (ATOI 12:23), but he's played well primarily alongside Carl Hagelin.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash didn't score on Tuesday but did assist three other goals versus the Maple Leafs.
Insight: Nash had a helper on the team's first two goals and then the game-winner from Mats Zuccarello in the third period. The Rangers won, 5-4. Nash has 33 goals and 19 assists in 52 games this season.
Description: Rangers winger Chris Kreider scored a power-play goal with less than two minutes in regulation to tie the score at two versus the Stars on Sunday. Unfortunately for the Rangers, the Stars answered Kreider and won, 3-2, in overtime.
Insight: Kreider scored on a pass from Mats Zuccarello. Kreider has 12 goals and 16 assists in 49 games this season.
Description: Lightning center Brian Boyle scored twice on Sunday.
Insight: Boyle scored in the first and second period as Tampa Bay jumped out to a, 5-1, lead over Anaheim at the beginning of the third period. The Lightning held on to win, 5-3. Boyle has 12 goals and five assists in 55 games this season.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash scored a pair of goals as New York pulled away from Florida, winning, 6-3.
Insight: The Rangers scored three unanswered goals in the third period. Nash scored a shorthanded goal in the first period and then an empty-netter in the third. The two goals tied Nash with Alex Ovechkin for the league lead in goals. He has 31 scores with 15 assists in 48 games this season.
Description: Rangers backup goaltender Cam Talbot will start on Thursday against the Bruins.
Insight: Talbot played the third period of the, 3-0, loss to the Islanders on Tuesday, so Alain Vigneault will stick with the hot hand. Talbot stopped all 12 shots he faced in the period. This will be his ninth start of the season.
Description: Rangers center Derek Stepan scored a hat trick on Saturday.
Insight: Stepan doubled his goal total of the season with a goal in each period versus the Devils. Stepan also scored three different ways, short handed, power play and empty net. Stepan has six goals 16 assists and a plus-six rating in 21 games this season.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist had a great Saturday night.
Insight: Lundqvist allowed just one third-period goal on 30 shots to lead the Rangers to a, 5-1, victory over the Canucks. He is 11-7-3 with a 2.63 GAA and .909 save percentage, which is very un-Lundqvist like. Perhaps Saturday will get him going.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash scored his 18th goal of the season on Monday.
Insight: Nash scored about eight minutes into the second period to give the Rangers a, 2-1, lead. Pittsburgh eventually tied the game, but New York won, 4-3, in overtime. Nash has 18 goals and 10 assists this season.
Description: Rangers defenseman Kevin Klein scored the game-winning goal in overtime against the Penguins on Monday as the Rangers won, 4-3.
Insight: It was a huge goal as New York blew a, 3-1, lead late in the third period. The Rangers have several blown leads like that this season, so it was important for them to get the full two points versus Pittsburgh. Klein has six goals and four assists this season.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist played excellent on Saturday but lost to the Penguins.
Insight: It was a tough break for Lundqvist owners as it appeared the Rangers had scored the winning goal in the final shot of the shootout, but Rangers shooter Dan Boyle had an illegal hit on the potential game-winning goal. Replay nullified the goal, and all the Rangers players had to be called back onto the ice from the locker room. Lunqvist was noticably flat on the next attempt as Brandon Sutter scored, and Rick Nash did not convert his attempt. Pittsburgh won, 3-2.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist recorded his 53rd shutout of his career against the Penguins on Tuesday.
Insight: It was Lundqvist's third shutout of the year with this one being the most impressive as it came against the Penguins, who were on a scoring-tear and seven-game winning streak. Lundqvist made 33 saves to blank Pittsburgh.
Description: Rangers winger Chris Kreider played well in Saturday's loss to Toronto.
Insight: He had a goal and an assist, along with three shots on goal and a +3 rating. Kreider now has 13 points in 10 games, as well as a +5 rating and 38 penalty minutes. Owners should be pleased with these numbers.
Description: Rangers backup goaltender Cam Talbot will start on Saturday.
Insight: Talbot has a 2.84 GAA and .899 save percentage in three prior starts this season. He should have better numbers than that, but he is not contending for Henrik Lundqvist's job. Lundqvist has the day off.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash scored his 10th goal of the season on the power play in the first period against the Red Wings.
Insight: Nash had six shots on goal and now has 13 points on the season. Nash was also involved on the game-winning goal in overtime. He screened Jonas Gustavsson on the power play, which allowed Derick Brassard to finish a rebound.
Description: Rangers winger Martin St. Louis scored twice in Monday's shootout loss to the Blues.
Insight: St. Louis scored his second and third goal of the season. He had four shots on goal and a plus-two rating. St. Louis did not score in the shooutout, however, and the Blues won, scoring twice in the shootout.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist got the rare shutout loss on Saturday against the Jets.
Insight: There probably isn't any other way for someone to get a shutout and lose in sports. Lundqvist stopped all 25 shots he faced in regulation and the first three he saw in the shootout, but allowed a goal on the fourth shootout shot and that was the difference. The Jets won, 1-0.
Description: Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonaugh suffered a separated shoulder on Saturday against the Jets.
Insight: He left the game in the first period after a hard hit along the boards. McDonagh missed five games last spring due to a shoulder injury to the same shoulder. He has three assists in nine games. A timetable for his return will likely come on Sunday when the defenseman is reevaluated.
Description: Rangers left wing Mats Zuccarello scored a goal and two assists with a plus-three rating on Monday night against the Wild.
Insight: It was Zuccarello's first score of the season. The great plus/minus rating also helps Zuccarello's season numbers. He was minus-five coming into the game. Zuccarello was instrumental in the New York comeback against Minnesota. The Rangers scored all five goals in the third period.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash has scored another goal in Tuesday's overtime win against New Jersey.
Insight: It is already his eighth goal of the season. Nash seems unstoppable right now, which is music to owners ears. Kevin Klein notched the OT winner for the Rangers, to take down their division rival.
Description: Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist allowed six goals for a second straight start on Tuesday.
Insight: Lundqvist stopped just 18-of-24 shots against the Maple Leafs on Sunday. He did slightly better on Tuesday, turning aside 21 out of 27 shots from the Islanders, but his save percentage was still well below .800. Lundqvist is in some obvious funk, but fantasy owners should by no means panic.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash has scored in each of the first four games of this season.
Insight: Nash leads the NHL with six goals after just four games. He scored two more times on Tuesday against the Islanders for the only goals the Rangers had on the night. Nash will obviously not be able to maintain this production, but the Rangers and fantasy owners alike love the fast start.
Description: It was a night to forget for Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist as he gave up six goals on 24 shots.
Insight: Lundqvist was pulled in the second period. We have no doubts he'll be a top goaltender again this season, this was just one of those days. He's won 53.8 percent of his games over his career and has won at least 30 games every season except the 2012-13 48-game campaign.
Description: Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist will be in goal Sunday, after getting the night off against Columbus.
Insight: Cam Talbot starting in Saturday's loss to the Blue Jackets, but will give way to New York's star goalie against Toronto.. Lundqvist earned the victory in his first start of the season, turning away 25-of-27 shots on goal.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash had a big game in the opener.
Insight: He had the game-winning goal in New York's 3-2 victory over the Blues. Nash had three total points (2 goals, 1 assist), four shots on goal, and a +2 rating on Thursday. Solid start to the 2014-15 season.
Description: Rangers winger Carl Hagelin will top last year's 15 goals and 16 assists numbers.
Insight: We expect a lot from Hagelin, who is one of the fastest players in the NHL. There is a chance that he will play with Mats Zuccarello and Derick Brassard this year. If that happens, we like the combination of Haelin's speed and Zuccarello's grittiness to score a bunch of goals.
Description: Rangers left wing Mats Zuccarello had a breakout season last year, so now fans are wondering if he can repeat that success.
Insight: Zuccarello scored 19 goals and had 40 assists playing with Benoit Pouliot and Derick Brassard last season. He will again play with Brassard, but Pouliot left via free agency. The pair will likely be a part of the Rangers second line, but stay tuned because they could also end up in a checking-line role. Either way, Zuccarello is worth stashing on your team.
Description: Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonaugh really surprised fans with the amount of offensive production last season.
Insight: McDonaugh scored 14 goals and 43 points while adding another four goals and 17 points in the playoffs a year ago. He had the opportunity to play more offense and he took advantage. Veteran free agent signee Dan Boyle will likely take a part of that role away from McDonaugh this season, but McDonaugh is still expected to about 13 goals and 30 assists.
Description: Rangers winger Martin St. Louis' fantasy value will greatly depend on linemate Rick Nash.
Insight: St. Louis disappointed Rangers fans with just eight points in 19 games after the trade deadline move last year. He then scored 15 points in 25 playoffs games. Not bad, but considering St. Louis has averaged a point per game over the course of seven seasons, it's not particularly good. St. Louis misses playing with Steven Stamkos and will need Nash to reemerge as a great scorer to make St. Louis a top fantasy forward.
Description: Rangers winger Rick Nash should be a player owners can pick late on draft day.
Insight: Nash had a below average regular season which turned into a horrible playoffs last year. He had 39 points in 65 games and then just three goals in 25 playoffs games. We believe Nash can bounce back, but owners should not be picking him early. Take the upside he offers late in the draft.
Description: Rangers winger Chris Kreider is poised for a breakout fantasy season in 2014-2015.
Insight: Kreider has had problems staying on the ice, but when playing, he might be the best offensive force the Rangers have. He scored 13 points in 15 playoffs games despite missing time with injuries. Kreider will miss Stepan the first part of the season, but he is still a guy owners want in their lineup.
Description: Rangers center Derek Stepan played three fewer minutes per game under first-year head coach Alain Vigneault last season.
Insight: Stephan fractured his fibula last week, so his fantasy value has already taken a huge hit, but even before the injury, his value was slightly dipping. Stepan really struggled last season, and there were questions about the Rangers depth chart coming into training camp. The injury certainly does not help Stepan's cause.
Description: Rangers center Derek Stepan fractured his fibula and will be out four-to-six weeks according to the Bergen Record.
Insight: Stepan will likely miss the first seven games of the regular season, but it should take much longer for him to get back into the swing of things. Missing training camp is never a good thing. Even if he returns in four weeks, his fantasy value has taken a hit.
Description: Brad Richards has been bought out by the Rangers. SOURCE: Nick Kypreos, Sportsnet
Insight: It's not unexpected and the move frees up nearly $7 million in cap room for New York. This season marked Richards' second trip to the Stanley Cup after winning it with the Lightning in 2004.

Description: Rangers rookie center J.T. Miller is doubtful for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final Tuesday against Montreal due to an upper body injury (shoulder).

Description: New York defenseman John Moore has been suspended for the last two games of the Eastern Conference Finals. Moore received a game misconduct for a high hit on Montreal right wing Dale Weise Tuesday in Game 5. SOURCE: NHL.com
Insight: If the Rangers clinch in Game 6, Moore will be suspended for the opening game of the Stanley Cup Finals. Moore has averaged 14 minutes of ice time per game in the postseason.
