Description: Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love left Wednesday's game with an eye injury but is expecting to play in Thursday's game against Chicago, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.

Description: Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving followed up his 55-point game with 21 points versus the Kings.
Insight: Irving made three more 3-pointers, but with LeBron James back in the lineup, Irving just wasn't going to get the same number of shot attempts. Kevin Love, F1/30/2015 9:58:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love had 23 points and 10 rebounds in the team's ninth straight victory.

Kevin Love, F1/28/2015 9:31:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds versus the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
Insight: When Kyrie Irving takes 36 shots and scores 55 points, there aren't many other opportunities to go around, but Love did only shoot 3-for-15 from the field. Hopefully he can shoot better on Friday, which might end up being another game without LeBron James.
Kyrie Irving, G1/28/2015 9:28:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving had a career-night versus the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
Insight: Irving scored 55 points, hitting an incredible 11-of-19 from the 3-point line. He was 17-for-36 from the field overall. We always say Irving's fantasy value rises when LeBron James doesn't play, but who was expecting this?

Description: Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith knocked down seven 3-pointers during Friday's victory versus Charlotte.
Insight: All seven of his made shots were 3-pointers, and he finished with 21 points. Smith has fit in nicely with Cleveland, as he also had four assists, four rebounds, and just one turnover.

Description: Cavaliers forward LeBron James will play on Wednesday despite an illness.
Insight: James missed Tuesday's practice but participated in the team's shootaround on Wednesday according to the Akron Beach Journal. James has averaged 31.8 ppg since returning from his knee and back issues, so he is a must-start. As if owners needed another reason to start King James.

James scored 32 points with 11 rebounds and seven assists versus the Clippers. It's worth noting that Kevin Love did not play, and when Love isn't on the floor, James' fantasy value is much higher. That's two big games in a row since returning from injury. He's averaged 34.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 5..0 apg against Phoenix and the Lakers. Perhaps that eight-game break (knee, back) will turn out to be a blessing.

Kyrie Irving, GCold1/7/2015 11:50:00 AM
Description: Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will play on Wednesday against the Rockets according to ESPN.
Insight: Irving did not play on Monday due to tightness in his lower back. He should go back into lineups on Wednesday unless owners are in a daily league. Irving has a tough matchup against guard Patrick Beverley, so if owners have a better option, it wouldn't be the biggest sin to sit Irving one more game.
Joe Harris, G1/5/2015 9:55:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers guard Joe Harris played 32 minutes on Monday and scored 16 points against the 76ers.
Insight: Cleveland had to take Dion Waiters out of the game right after the three-team trade was agreed to, and with no Kyrie Irving or LeBron James as well, Harris received a lot of playing time. Harris is a short-term solution for a team hurting at the guard position in standard leagues.

Insight: After the stat correction, James finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. It really makes no difference, but just in case fantasy owners start to wonder what happened to an assist and rebound for James. James has 37 career triple-doubles.
Kyrie Irving, G11/10/2014 9:28:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving played extremely well in Monday's win over the Pelicans.
Insight: He was 11-of-21 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the line for 32 points. Irving also chipped in nine assists, five rebounds, and one turnover. This was all done in 41 minutes of action.

Insight: He was 9-of-17 from the field and 13-of-17 from the line for his 32 points. James also had 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, one block, and four turnovers. Owners have been waiting for a game like this.
Dion Waiters, SG11/10/2014 5:45:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers shooting guard Dion Waiters will not play against the Pelicans on Monday.
Insight: Shawn Marion will get additional minutes in the starting lineup. Rookie Joe Harris and veteran Mike Miller will see a bump in playing times as well.
LeBron James, F11/8/2014 9:36:00 AM
Description: Cavaliers small forward LeBron James led the way for Cleveland with 11 assists as the Cavaliers picked up a much needed victory, 110-101, over the Nuggets.
Insight: James set the tone of unselfish basketball from the start as Cleveland had 25 assists as a team. That is much better than the six they had Wednesday. James also scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
LeBron James, F10/31/2014 10:55:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers small forward LeBron James rebounded from a poor opening night.
Insight: He had 36 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four steals, one block, and three turnovers, to lead Cleveland to an overtime victory over Chicago. James also scored eight points in the extra session.
LeBron James, F10/31/2014 12:13:00 PM
Description: We expect Cavaliers small forward LeBron James will step up his game after the team lost the season opener.
Insight: He was 5-for-15 for 17 points, five rebounds, four assists, and a dreadful eight turnovers in a loss. He'll likely go big this time arround and dominate in all phases of the game.
Kyrie Irving, G10/30/2014 10:44:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving led the team in scoring during opening night.
Insight: He had 22 points, six assists, five rebounds, two steals, but did have four turnovers. Owners will deal with the turnovers, if Irving continues to produce stat lines like this one.
LeBron James, F10/30/2014 10:42:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers forward LeBron James had a night to forget in his return.
Insight: He was 5-for-15 for 17 points, five rebounds, four assists, and a dreadful eight turnovers. This very well could be James' worst game of the whole season.
Tristan Thompson, C10/22/2014 6:39:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson is an intriguing draft pick in dynasty leagues this season.
Insight: The 23-year-old will come off the bench to give rest to superstars LeBron James and Kevin Love. Even if he can earn a starting role in front of Anderson Varejao, he is not expected to make an impact this season. Perhaps in a year or two.
Anderson Varejao, C10/22/2014 6:34:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao's double-double days are long gone.
Insight: Varejao had a 50-game stretch in his career where he was a double-double threat every night, but Varejao is too injury prone for that this season. He will also battle Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson for playing time and rebounds.
LeBron James, F10/22/2014 6:22:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers forward LeBron James is the clear cut No. 1 pick with Kevin Durant injured the first six-to-eight weeks of the season.
Insight: James' production dipped a little last season, but everything is relative. At 29-years-old, James will play fewer minutes this season, but his field goal percentage could go up and he is still the best player in the world. Don't hesitate to draft him No. 1.
Dion Waiters, SG10/22/2014 6:19:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers shooting guard Dion Waiters will have little fantasy value this season.
Insight: Waiters should play just as many minutes as he did last season, but with the new 'big three' in Cleveland, Waiters is the odd man out. He should be a viable contributor for the Cavaliers, but not likely to make a fantasy impact.
Kyrie Irving, G10/22/2014 6:13:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving takes a slight hit in fantasy value with superstars LeBron James and Kevin Love joining him in Cleveland.
Insight: Irving will not average over 17 field goal attempts per game, so his scoring might go down. However, his field goal percentage and assist numbers should increase. He should also remain fresher down the stretch since he no longer has to carry the load every night. Time will tell if less is more for Irving, but for now, his value takes a small hit.
Kyrie Irving, G8/21/2014 12:05:00 PM
Description: Kyrie Irving made all five of his field goal attempts as he looked fantastic against the Dominican Republic on Wednesday. Irving finished with 12 points, five assists and two 3-pointers.
Insight: Could this be a preview of what is to come in Cleveland this season? Irving did not take a single bad shot on Wednesday. He has not been the most efficient player in the past, but that could change with the help he will receive this season. Irving's usage rate is definitely going to take a hit, but sometimes in fantasy, less is more.
Andrew Wiggins, G7/24/2014 4:48:00 PM
Description: The Cavaliers have signed G/F Andrew Wiggins - the No. 1 pick in this year's NBA draft.
Insight: This doesn't mean he's going the play in Cleveland next season, only that the team can't trade him for 30 days. He's been rumored to be part of a deal to pry Kevin Love out of Minnesota.
Anthony Bennett, F7/13/2014 8:27:00 PM
Description: According to cleveland.com, Cavaliers forward Anthony Bennett now weighs 240 pounds.
Insight: Bennett weighed in at 259 last season and may have been even heavier than that at times. The 2013 No. 1 overall pick averaged just 12.8 minutes, 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in 52 games as a rookie. He'll likely be traded if the Cavs pursue Kevin Love, and joining a Love-less Minnesota would be good for his fantasy value.
LeBron James, F7/12/2014 6:04:00 PM
Description: LeBron James signed a two-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Insight: Cavaliers fans shouldn't worry about the short length of the deal, it's only a two-year deal because the league will have a new television deal in place for 2016 and likely a new collective bargaining agreement in 2017.
Kyrie Irving, G7/11/2014 8:03:00 PM
Description: Kyrie Irving's five-year, $90 million contract extension with the Cavaliers will include an early termination option for the 2019-20 season, according to Yahoo Sports.
Insight: Cleveland announced the extension Thursday before signing LeBron James Friday. James should help Irving become a more efficient player and draw some of the defensive pressure away from the point guard.
LeBron James, F7/11/2014 7:38:00 PM
Description: LeBron James announced in a letter on SI.com Friday that will return to the Cavaliers.
Insight: James left Cleveland for the Miami Heat four years ago and made the last four NBA Finals, winning two. Now, he'll try to bring a championship back to his hometown.
Andrew Wiggins, G6/26/2014 8:26:00 PM
Description: The Cavaliers selected University of Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins with the No. 1 pick in Thursday night's NBA Draft.
Insight: The Cavs have had the No. 1 pick the last two years and have taken a player from Canada both times. Wiggins averaged 17.4 ppg as a Jayhawk last season and was also strong on the defensive end. With Wiggins on board, it's possible Cleveland will look to trade Dion Waiters, who plays the same position as Wiggins.
Jarrett Jack, G6/21/2014 5:14:00 PM
Description: The Cavaliers are looking to swap Jarrett Jack for Nets guard Marcus Thornton. SOURCE: Marc Stein, ESPN
Insight: Jack has played for six teams in the last seven seasons so he must be used to the trade rumors by now. Jack's 9.5 ppg scoring average in 2014 was his lowest since 2011.
