Description: A's center fielder Coco Crisp has returned to the starting lineup. SOURCE: Jane Lee, MLB.com
Insight: It's his first start since Sunday. Hamstring and wrist issues have plagued Crisp (.292, 1 HR, 2 RBI) throughout April, though neither injury was serious enough to land him on the disabled list.
Description: The Mets have activated center fielder Chris Young from the 15-day disabled list.
Insight: He's been out with a quad injury. Young does have a 30 HR season to his credit but that came all the way back in 2007. Nowadays, fantasy owners don't have much use for the free-swinging veteran.
Description: Oakland center fielder Coco Crisp is probable for Friday's game against Houston while dealing with a tight left hamstring issue.
Insight: Crisp has been out of the starting lineup since Sunday, but did pinch hit on Tuesday. He's batting .292 with a home run six runs scored and four stolen bases and provides a viable fantasy option.
Description: Blue Jays center fielder Colby Rasmus is a cold 1-for-10 against Cleveland starter Justin Masterson.
Insight: Rasmus (.222, 3 HR, 5 RBI) was in the DH role for both games of Thursday's doubleheader while dealing with a hamstring issue. It wouldn't be surprising he he got Friday off in this unfavorable matchup.
Description: Washington center fielder Denard Span could return from the DL as early as Saturday. SOURCE: Dan Kolko, MASN
Insight: Span (.222, 0 HR, 4 RBI) suffered a concussion last Friday and was placed on the DL the following day. He's expected to play in rehab games on Thursday and Friday and if all goes well, he should be back in the lineup Saturday against St. Louis.
Description: Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp was not in the starting lineup Tuesday against Tim Lincecum but he ended up going 2-for-2 with a walk and a steal after pinch hitting.
Insight: Kemp is 6-for-28 (.214) with three home runs in eight games. He didn't hit his third homer last year until his 59th game. Kemp has a good matchup Wednesday against Ryan Vogelsong of the Giants. He's gone 7-for-22 (.318) with three extra-base hits (1 HR) against the right-hander.
Description: Red Sox center fielder Grady Sizemore is just 3-for-21 (.143) against White Sox starter John Danks.
Insight: Sizemore played just 210 games from 2009-11 and missed all of 2012-13, so he hasn't faced Danks since 2008. The 31-year-old outfielder is hitting .308 with two homers, one steal and an .870 OPS in 11 games this year.
Description: The George Springer era is about to begin. The Astros will promote their top prospect for Wednesday's game, according to Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle.
Insight: Springer hit .353 with three homers and four steals in his first 13 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He had 37 longballs and 45 steals to go with a .303 average in the minors last season and needs to be owned in all fantasy leagues.
Description: Blue Jays center fielder Colby Rasmus (hamstring) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Twins.
Insight: According to Gregor Chisholm of mlb.com, manager John Gibbons said he wanted to give Rasmus another day off (Jays didn't play Monday) but doesn't consider the injury to be a serious issue. He could be back Wednesday but may sit again due to the cold weather at Minnesota.
Description: Ben Revere would have returned to the starting lineup had the Phillies played on Tuesday. SOURCE: Chris Branch, Delaware Online
Insight: Revere seems to have recovered from the rib injury that plagued him most of last week. He didn't get a chance to help fantasy owners Tuesday because of the rainout but Revere (.273, 0 HR, 3 RBI, 5 SB) should be good to go Wednesday when the Phillies host Atlanta.
Description: A's center fielder Coco Crisp (hamstring) will sit out again Tuesday, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: Crisp missed three straight games last week due to an inflamed wrist and he has now missed the first two of this week. Injuries are nothing new for the 34-year-old -- he hasn't played more than 136 games in a season since 2007 and never played more than 145.
Description: The Indians have activated center fielder Michael Bourn (hamstring) from the 15-day disabled list.
Insight: Bourn's injury may have him running conservatively when he returns, though he did steal a base in his rehab stint. The 31-year-old had just 23 steals on 35 attempts in 2013 after averaging 51 steals and 63 attempts per season from 2008-12.
Description: Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp struggles mightily against Giants hurler Tim Lincecum.
Insight: Kemp has just nine hits in 46 at-bats (.196) and has struck out twice as often has he's gotten a hit. The star outfielder dealt with injuries this spring which kept him off the practice fields at its manifested into a slow start (.154).
Description: Washington center fielder Denard Span (concussion) took batting practice and jogged around the bases before Monday's game, according to Dan Kolko of masnsports.com.
Insight: Span suffered a concussion Friday against Atlanta. Nate McLouth would start but knee soreness is keeping him out of the lineup too. Span also suffered a concussion back in 2011 but he insists this one isn't as bad.
Description: A's center fielder Coco Crisp (hamstring) will not start Monday, according to John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group.
Insight: Crisp missed three straight games last week due to an inflamed wrist and he's out of the lineup again to start this week off. Injuries are nothing new for the 34-year-old -- he hasn't played more than 136 games in a season since 2007 and never played more than 145.
Description: Phillies center fielder Ben Revere will not start for a fourth consecutive game.
Insight: He remains on the bench with a bruised rib, though he has gotten an at-bat in the last three games (0-for-3). Tony Gwynn Jr. (.250, 0 HR, 0 RBI, 4 runs) is getting another start in center field.
Description: Angels center fielder Mike Trout went 3-for-4 with a solo homer Sunday against the Mets.
Insight: Trout homered in two of the three games and went 7-for-15 in Los Angeles' series against New York to raise his average from .257 to .320. He still hasn't attempted a steal but has four homers and nine runs.
Description: Blue Jays center fielder Colby Rasmus went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI Sunday at Baltimore.
Insight: Rasmus has gone deep in three of the last four games and raised his average from .100 to .217 in that stretch. The strikeouts make him extremely streaky, but the 27-year-old has proven to be an effective power hitter when he gets hot.
Description: Houston's top minor league prospect, George Springer, is batting .290 with a .937 OPS in his first week at Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Insight: Springer is expected to make the jump to the big club sometime around June 1. After hitting 37 homers with 108 RBI last season between Double-A and Triple-A, he should take over in right field and be the Astros everyday starter. Make sure you have a space available on your roster for this slugger.
Description: Milwaukee center fielder Carlos Gomez is a career .500 hitter with a pair of homers versus Pittsburgh left-hander Francisco Liriano.
Insight: Gomez is on fire, batting .390 with three homers and a 1.164 OPS through the first nine games. He comes off a series in Philadelphia where he went 8-for-16 with five extra base hits. All these numbers means he's a must start on Friday.
Description: Blue Jays center fielder Colby Rasmus, off his first home run of the season Thursday night, has a favorable matchup on Friday.
Insight: Rasmus is a career .429 hitter (6-for-14) with a pair of homers against Baltimore right-hander Chris Tillman. Rasmus has been horrible for most of the season (2-for-27), but over the past two games may be coming out of it (4-for-7).
Description: Mets outfielder Chris Young (quad) played in an extended spring training game on Thursday and will play another one Friday, according to Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News.
Insight: Young missed Opening Day and didn't even get an at-bat in the second game of the season before he had to leave with a quad strain. If he gets through Friday's extended spring training game he'll probably move on to a minor league rehab assignment.
Description: Indians center fielder Michael Bourn (hamstring) is likely to return on April 15, though he hasn't been ruled out for April 13. SOURCE: Paul Hoynes, Cleveland Plain Dealer
Insight: Bourn's injury may have him running conservatively when he returns, which isn't good for a player whose main contributions to fantasy teams are stolen bases and runs. The 31-year-old had just 23 steals on 35 attempts in 2013 after averaging 51 steals and 63 attempts per season from 2008-12.
Description: Astros center fielder Dexter Fowler (illness) will return to the lineup Wednesday, according to Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle.
Insight: A bout of gastroenteritis landed Fowler in the hospital and caused him to miss four straight games before pinch hitting Tuesday. Fowler is hitting .462 with four extra-base hits and five runs this season.
Description: Red Sox center fielder Grady Sizemore will be given the day off Wednesday versus Texas. SOURCE: Marty Gitlin, CBS Sports
Insight: Sizemore is only a .228 career hitter against left-handers so it makes sense to sit him today against Robbie Ross (0-0, 3.60 ERA). Jackie Bradley Jr. (.400, 0 HR, 5 RBI) is filling in at center field.
Description: Rangers center fielder Leonys Martin will get Tuesday off. Michael Choice will start in his place.
Insight: Martin has hit .240 with a couple of stolen bases in seven games this season, but is hitless in his last three games (11 at-bats). Given a full season he should hit 10-12 homers and steal 40 bases which certainly has fantasy value.
Description: Cincinnati CF Billy Hamilton (finger) is back in the lineup for Monday against St. Louis.
Insight: Things couldn't have gone much worse for Hamilton in his first five games of 2014. He went 0-for-12 with six Ks and hurt his finger Friday when he was caught stealing while pinch running. Hopefully he can start to feel more comfortable in the batter's box.
Description: Oakland center fielder Coco Crisp is not in Monday afternoon's starting lineup.
Insight: Crisp has been dealing with a sore left wrist. He's getting on base with a 1.055 OPS so far after putting together a solid season in 2013, batting .261 with 22 HR, 66 RBI, 93 runs and 21 stolen bases.
Description: Houston center fielder Dexter Fowler (illness) will sit out Sunday and likely won't play Monday, according to Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle.

Description: Cincinnati CF Billy Hamilton will sit out again Sunday due to a jammed left middle finger, according to Jon Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Insight: Things couldn't have gone much worse for Hamilton in his first five games of 2014. He went 0-for-12 with six Ks and hurt his finger Thursday when he was caught stealing while pinch running. Hamilton was able to play center field in the ninth inning Saturday, but his finger is probably giving him trouble when he grips a bat.
Description: Blue Jays left fielder Melky Cabrera hit a homer for the second straight game Saturday against the Yankees, his former team.
Insight: Cabrera hit just three homers in 88 games last season but already has two in six games the year. The 29-year-old was tremendous in 2012, hitting .346 with 11 home runs, 60 RBI, 84 runs, 13 steals and a .906 OPS in 113 games before being suspended 50 games for testosterone use.
Description: Yankees center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury has had back-to-back three-hit games at Toronto.
Insight: Ellsbury went 0-for-7 with two walks in the Yankees first series of the season at Houston. He already has three steals and three runs scored. Health is the only thing that could hold Ellsbury back from being a superb fantasy option this season.
Description: Tigers left fielder Rajai Davis is 3-for-9 with one homer, four RBI, three runs and one steal in three games this season.
Insight: Davis took over the everyday left field job when Andy Dirks had to undergo back surgery. Davis' average season over the past five years has included a .271 average, five home runs, 58 runs, 39 RBI and 43 steals.
Description: Boston center fielder Grady Sizemore is in the leadoff spot for Saturday night's game with Milwaukee.
Insight: Considering his time sidelined by injury Sizemore is off to a quick start this season (.300, 1 HR) and will get a shot at the top of the lineup. If successful this could further increase his fantasy value.
Description: Cincinnati CF Billy Hamilton is not in the starting lineup on Saturday after missing Friday.
Insight: He's dealing with a jammed left middle finger. Given his slow start (0-for-12 with six strikeouts) this seems to be a smart move. Hamilton has yet to steal a base, which could be a continuing problem if he can't get hits.
Description: Matt Kemp will start in center field and bat second Friday against the Giants.
Insight: Yasiel Puig was benched after showing up late to batting practice. Kemp has dealt with hamstring, shoulder and ankle issues over the last two seasons and hit just .270 with six homers in 263 at bats in 2013.
Description: Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp (ankle) has been activated from the 15-day disabled list, however, he is not in Friday's starting lineup.
Insight: Kemp has dealt with hamstring, shoulder and ankle issues over the last two seasons and hit just .270 with six homers in 263 at-bats last year. He's expected to make his first start of the season on Saturday. Expect him to get plenty of time off during the season.
