Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby participated in his first team practice in nearly a month Friday, but there is no timetable for his return.
Crosby has missed the team's last 11 games with a broken jaw. He expects to be back in the lineup once he gets approval from his doctors.
The 25-year-old has been out of the lineup since taking a puck to the face on March 30 against the Islanders. He had surgery on his jaw and had major dental work following the game.
Crosby has 15 goals and 41 assists in 36 games this season.
The Penguins, who have clinched the No. 1 seed in this year's Eastern Conference playoffs, finish the regular season on Saturday at home against Carolina.
