(Sports Network) - The Atlanta Falcons will travel to Music City to take on the Tennessee Titans at LP Field in the pivotal third preseason game for both clubs.
The Falcons, one of the favorites in the NFC, are winless so far this preseason after dropping a 27-23 decision to the reigning Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens last week.
The Ravens rallied to score 20 points in the fourth quarter of that one, capped with a 78-yard punt return by Asa Jackson, to win it.
Matt Ryan went 8-for-15 for 97 yards and a touchdown over four series while Dominique Davis was 8-of-10 for 98 yards and Sean Renfree was 8-for-16 for 63 yards for the Falcons.
Julio Jones had three receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown. Jacquizz Rodgers got the bulk of the carries, rushing 10 times for 28 yards and a touchdown in the setback.
The Titans are also winless this preseason after a 27-19 setback at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Starting QB Jake Locker finished 12-for-20 with 116 yards, while Ryan Fitzpatrick was 9-for-13 for 136 yards and two touchdowns for the Titans in that one.
The Falcons and Titans have met five times in the preseason with Atlanta holding a slim 3-2 advantage in the series.
