Renton, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Marcus Trufant's 10-year NFL career is coming to an end.
The Seattle Seahawks, the only team Trufant played for, announced the signing of the cornerback Wednesday and said he intends to retire Thursday.
Trufant, 33, a Washington State product and first-round draft pick in 2003, played in 12 games in his final season in 2012, starting just two. He signed with Jacksonville in May of last year, but was released before playing in a regular-season game with the Jaguars.
