Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Texans signed running back Andre Brown on Monday.
Brown signed with the Texans after spending his past two seasons with the New York Giants. After missing the first eight games of last season due to a leg injury, Brown started the remainder of the season and rushed for 492 yards on 139 carries with three touchdowns.
The 27-year-old has appeared in 22 games with 10 starts and racked up 876 yards and 11 touchdowns on 214 carries over parts of four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, and Giants.
