Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Steelers placed center Maurkice Pouncey, linebacker Larry Foote and running back LaRod Stephens- Howling on season-ending injured reserve Monday.
Pouncey tore the MCL and ACL in his right knee, Foote ruptured his biceps and Stephens-Howling also suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's 16-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
All three players face surgery in a relatively short time frame.
The Steelers signed center Fernando Velasco, who started all 16 games last season for the Titans, to take Pouncey's spot on the roster. Running back Jonathan Dwyer -- who survived until the Steelers' last round of roster cuts -- was brought back to take over for Stephens-Howling.
In addition, kicker Shayne Graham was signed. The 35-year-old made 31-of-38 field goal attempts and all 45 extra-point tries last season with Houston, but was unable to secure a roster spot in training camp with the Browns.
Regular kicker Shaun Suisham injured his hamstring in Sunday's game and is not expected to be available for Pittsburgh's Week 2 Monday night matchup at Cincinnati.
