Orlando Magic (10-23) at Los Angeles Clippers (23-13), 10:30 p.m.
(SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Clippers continue to press on without
Chris Paul and will welcome the Orlando Magic to Staples Center on Monday
Paul could miss up to six weeks with a Grade 3 AC Joint separation in his
right shoulder. He injured his shoulder against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday
and in the Clippers' first test without him, they flunked.
On Saturday, the Clippers got routed by the San Antonio Spurs, 116-92 in San
Antonio. The first half was completely one-sided as the Spurs took a 35-point
lead into the locker room.
The Spurs made 77.3 percent (17-of-22) of their shots over the first 12
minutes. The Clippers had one rebound in the first quarter, a Spurs franchise-
record low for an opponent in a period.
"It's amazing, probably a good lesson for us, without C.P. (Paul), you're not
going to dance around with the ball and just make things magical happen," said
head coach Doc Rivers. "C.P. has that ability, no one else does. But when we
started moving the ball in the second half we looked like a basketball team
Jamal Crawford had 24 points and seven assists for the Clippers. Blake Griffin
scored 19 to go with seven rebounds for Los Angeles and Darren Collison, who
started in place of Paul, scored 14.

The Miami Heat earned their eighth straight victory over the Magic on
Saturday, a 110-94 decision in Orlando.
Jameer Nelson led five Magic players in double figures with 21 points on 5-
of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Tobias Harris went for 17 points and 10
rebounds, Arron Afflalo and Victor Oladipo both scored 16 points and Glen
Davis had 14 with nine boards.
"There is a very short margin for error, especially playing against them,"
said Oladipo. "They make you pay every time you make a mistake."
The Heat shot 54 percent from the field against Orlando, which is 3-12 on the
road this season.
The Magic bested the Clippers by eight in Orlando on Nov. 6 and have taken two
of the last three meetings. Orlando is 11-6 as the visitor in its last 17
meetings with LA.
