Milwaukee Brewers (6-2) at Philadelphia Phillies (3-5), 7:05 p.m.
Probable Starting Pitchers: Milwaukee - Marco Estrada (0-0, 1.59) Philadelphia - Cliff Lee (2-0, 6.00)
(SportsNetwork.com) - Cliff Lee tries to slow down Ryan Braun on Thursday, as the Philadelphia Phillies try to avoid a three-game sweep at the hands of the Milwaukee Brewers at Citizens Bank Park.
Braun continued to be a thorn in the Phillies' side Wednesday as the embattled slugger legged out a two-run triple in the deciding eighth frame of the Brewers' 9-4 victory.
Booed heavily during his three-home run barrage on Tuesday, Braun stepped in against Antonio Bastardo (0-1) with two on and cleared the bags with a fly ball to the center field warning track.
Braun now has nine RBI in the series and 23 in 21 career games at Citizens Bank.
Carlos Gomez went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, Reynolds added a two-run shot in the ninth and Aramis Ramirez added three hits and an RBI for the Brewers, winners of five straight after dropping two in a row to the Braves.
"When you win on the road, and not just winning but against the teams that we're playing, then it becomes really important," Milwaukee manager Ron Roenicke said.
Marlon Byrd drove in two runs in Philadelphia's third straight loss.
Now the Phillies turn to Lee, who is 2-0 this season with a 6.00 ERA. After serving up eight runs in a wild win over Texas in his season debut, Lee was far better against Chicago on Saturday, tossing seven scoreless innings.
"Yeah, I mean I still had to battle a little bit," Lee said. "(The Cubs) had their fair share of hits. I was able to make pitches when I needed to. But yeah, seven innings, no runs, I'll take that every time."
Lee, though, may have trouble containing Braun, who has hit three home runs off of him in his career.
Milwaukee, meanwhile, will turn to righty Marco Estrada, who will be looking for his first win of the season after a solid debut. Estrada held the Boston Red Sox to a pair of runs in 5 2/3 innings on Friday, but did not factor in the decision of his team's 6-2 win.
In 10 starts since Aug. 7, he's 3-0 with a 2.10 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and .169 opponents' batting average.
Milwaukee was 5-2 against Philadelphia last season.
