Scottsdale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Tim Hudson fired three scoreless innings and Pablo Sandoval belted his first home run of the spring as the San Francisco Giants posted a 3-2 decision over the Cincinnati Reds in Cactus League play.
Hudson yielded two hits and a pair of walks while striking out three in his second spring outing as a Giant, while Sandoval snapped a 0-0 tie with a leadoff homer off Chien-Ming Wang in the bottom of the fifth.
San Francisco tacked on two more runs in the fifth on RBI singles from Juan Perez and Angel Pagan.
Tony Cingrani did not allow a run or a hit over the first three innings for Cincinnati. Wang was charged with three runs -- two earned -- while fanning five over the next three frames.
