Final Score: San Diego 5, Colorado 2
San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The San Diego Padres rallied for four runs in the seventh inning to complete a three-game sweep of the Colorado Rockies with a 5-2 win on Sunday.
With the bases loaded, Roy Oswalt (0-5) walked Jesus Guzman to force home Chase Headley. Nick Hundley followed with a pinch-hit, three-run double down the line in left to make it 5-2.
"In a close game, a well-pitched game, it sometimes comes down to a big hit," Padres manager Bud Black said.
Rene Rivera also drove in a run for the Padres, winners in five of their last six.
Nick Vincent (4-2) earned the win after tossing a scoreless seventh inning and Huston Street spun a perfect ninth to notch his 29th save of the season.
Padres starter Ian Kennedy gave up two runs -- one earned -- on five hits while striking out seven over five frames.
Michael Cuddyer and Jordan Pacheco drove in one run apiece for the Rockies, losers in five of their last six games.
Rockies starter Chad Bettis worked three scoreless innings, striking out five and scattering two hits.
"What I'm learning up here and what I'm working on are things I can definitely continue during the offseason," Bettis said.
Colorado got on the board in the third inning. Corey Dickerson tripled and then scored on Cuddyer's double to left.
Pacheco doubled home Charlie Blackmon in the fourth to make it 2-0.
The Padrs got on the board in the fifth as Ronny Cedeno came home on Rivera's sacrifice fly.
San Diego was 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position ... Kennedy hasn't lost since Aug. 16 ... Colorado was 2-for-7 with RISP.
