Flyers G Mason leaves game

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Steve Mason left Saturday's game with the Pittsburgh Penguins at the second intermission with an upper-body injury and will not return.

Late in the second, Pens forward Jayson Megna pushed Philly defenseman Andrew MacDonald into Mason, with the latter sprawled out in his crease for several moments before returning to action. Megna was given a minor for interference at the 16:27 mark.

Ray Emery subbed in the crease at the start of the third period.
