Kyle Orton is expected to start and will have his full compliment of starting receivers.
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) -
There are just a few minutes left before the games begin and this is your last chance to set fantasy lineups. Here are the latest updates on injured players.
Kyle Orton, QB, Denver - Orton is expected to start and will have his full compliment of starting receivers in Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal. He is one of the big questions this season; Can he do what Jay Cutler did last year or is he destined to be a fantasy backup option as he was in Chicago?
Matt Cassel, QB, Kansas City - Even if he plays, he's going up against the Baltimore Ravens. If I owned him, I'd be hoping he skipped Week 1 and waited to be completely healthy next week. Find another option.
Running Backs -
Pierre Thomas, RB, New Orleans - Thomas was declared out on Friday, making backup Mike Bell a possible starter.
Fred Jackson, RB, Buffalo - Remember that starting running back Marshawn Lynch has been suspended for three games and Jackson will get the bulk of the work.
James Davis, RB, Cleveland - Not really a viable option unless Jamal Lewis falters, Davis was in a car accident and is questionable for Sunday's game against Minnesota.
Knowshon Moreno, RB, Denver - Coming off a knee injury, even if Moreno plays, he'll be given a light workload. Correll Buckhalter is the only Denver running back I would consider starting in Week 1.
Brian Westbrook, RB, Philadelphia - Westbrook hasn't played a single down in preseason, but he's expected to play today. I'm not sure he'll get the full workload, but you have to start him anyway.
Wide Receivers -
Kevin Walter, WR, Houston - Walter is not a good option in Week 1 even if he returns from his hamstring injury. Find another receiver for Sunday and hope he is fully healthy next week as he is a solid No.3 fantasy receiver.
Deion Branch, WR, Seattle - Branch is questionable and even if he plays, the majority of the targets should go to newly acquired T.J. Houshmandzadeh and veteran Nate Burleson. Branch is not a viable option this week.
Antonio Bryant, WR, Tampa Bay - Bryant will play against Dallas, but how often the Buccaneers can get him the ball because of the unsettled quarterback situation make it likely that Bryant won't continue what he did in the fantasy playoffs (435 yards and four touchdowns over the three-week period).
Bernard Berrian, WR, Minnesota - Berrian was limited in practice this week and was listed as questionable on the NFL's official injury report, but will play on Sunday.
