Description: The Browns could be interested in signing free agent quarterback Matt Moore this offseason.
Insight: The Miami Herald mentioned that Cleveland's new offensive coordinator Norv Turner has long been an admirer of Moore and even recruited him to play for the Chargers two seasons ago, though Moore eventually signed with Miami instead. Brandon Weeden's job is far from safe, so Moore could potentially be the starter if he came to Cleveland.

Description: Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore performed well after Ryan Tannehill exited Sunday's game against the Jets with a quad injury. Moore threw for 131 yards on 11-of-19 passing and hit Anthony Fasano for a short touchdown.
Insight: Moore has proven his competence as an NFL quarterback. He threw 16 touchdowns with nine interceptions in 13 games last season and went 6-3 to end the season.

8/7/2012 6:56:00 PM
Description: According to the Associated Press, Dolphins QB Matt Moore said Tuesday that he's frustrated but not worried about the team's first depth chart which lists David Garrard as the starter.
Insight: Moore went 6-3 as a starter in the team's final nine games of the season and threw 16 TDs and nine INTs in 13 games while Garrard spent the entire season at home. Whoever wins the Dolphins quarterback battle will have minimal fantasy value, as the team lacks skill position talent.

8/6/2012 11:41:00 AM
Description: The first official depth chart for the Miami Dolphins has newly acquired David Garrard as the starter with Matt Moore as the backup and rookie Ryan Tannehill at No. 3.
Insight: Moore is a pending free agent and may end up being on the trading block. His fantasy value, barring a trade or injury, is minimal.

Description: Darin Gantt of the Rock Hill Herald reports Moore (shoulder) is targeting "sometime in March" to resume throwing passes.
Insight: Moore is a pending free agent, so the sooner he can throw obviously the better. He could land as a backup somewhere. (RapidDraft.com)

11/8/2010 3:05:00 PM
Description: The Panthers have placed Moore (right shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his 2010 season.
Insight: Moore had an MRI on Monday, which revealed a torn labrum in his right shoulder. This is bad news for whatever fantasy potential WR Steve Smith has. (RapidDraft.com)

Insight: An MRI revealed a torn labrum in Moore's throwing shoulder. With Moore out, the Panthers' skill players downgrade even more with Jimmy Clausen. We would not at all be surprised to see Tony Pike eventually make an appearance. The Panthers should look long and hard at the quarterback position this offseason.

11/8/2010 9:05:00 AM
Description: The Charlotte Observer reports Panthers' head coach John Fox said Moore (shoulder) will be his starter as long if he's healthy.
Insight: Moore will undergo an MRI on his right shoulder on Monday to see if he suffered a separation against the Saints on Sunday. Rookie Jimmy Clausen would start again if he can't go. The Panthers' offense is a mess right now. (RapidDraft.com)

11/7/2010 3:18:00 PM
Description: Panthers QB Matt Moore is currently out against the Saints with an injury to his right (throwing) shoulder.
Insight: Moore was in too much pain to try and throw afterward, so Jimmy Clausen may end up finishing the game.

11/1/2010 1:02:00 PM
Description: Carolina Growl.com reports Panthers' head coach John Fox said Moore will remain the team's starting QB despite a rough Week 8.
Insight: Rookie Jimmy Clausen is not ready to be an effective NFL quarterback right now, so Moore should stay in the starting role. (RapidDraft.com)

11/1/2010 12:04:00 PM
Description: Moore went 23-for-37 for 194 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions against the Rams on Sunday.
Insight: The interceptions are concerning, but Moore could be worth adding as a QB2 if you have a need. (RapidDraft.com)

11/1/2010 11:08:00 AM
Description: Panthers HC John Fox said he is sticking with QB Matt Moore as the team's starter. SOURCE: CAROLINA GROWL
Insight: Moore threw three interceptions against the Rams Sunday, bringing his total to four since being renamed the starter. Unfortunately, Fox has no other options considering rookie Jimmy Clausen showed he just wasn't ready yet. Expect Moore to keep the job for the foreseeable future.

10/25/2010 10:03:00 AM
Description: Moore went 28-for-41 for 308 yards with two touchdowns and one interception against the 49ers on Sunday.
Insight: Moore played well in his return to the starting role, and if that continues that is good news for the Panthers' offense. (RapidDraft.com)

10/18/2010 2:03:00 PM
Description: Steve Reed of the Gaston Gazette reports, via Twitter, that Moore will start ahead of Jimmy Clausen in Week 7 against San Francisco.
Insight: Clausen proved in his first three NFL starts that he is not quite ready, so Carolina will go back to Moore. He is not a good fantasy option. (RapidDraft.com)

10/18/2010 1:28:00 PM
Description: Panthers QB Matt Moore will get the start for the Week Seven matchup against the 49ers. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Moore still stinks, but nothing can be worse than what we saw from Jimmy Clausen, who has shown he simply isn't ready to be an NFL quarterback. Upgrade Steve Smith's fantasy value with Moore back under center.

10/1/2010 3:03:00 PM
Description: Darin Gantt of the Charlotte Observer considers the likelihood Moore starts again this season for the Panthers as "low to none."
Insight: Rookie Jimmy Clausen is likely to hang on to the starting job, as long as he can show some improvement as the season progresses. (RapidDraft.com)

10/1/2010 2:13:00 PM
Description: The likelihood of Panthers QB Matt Moore regaining his starting job is "low to none." SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: There is belief that Jimmy Clausen will continue to remain the starter no matter what. John Fox's seat is burning right now. And if Clausen doesn't show any improvement going forward, Fox's days in Carolina should be done. Moore is a free agent in 2011.

9/19/2010 3:34:00 PM
Description: The Panthers have changed quarterbacks, benching Matt Moore in favor of rookie Jimmy Clausen.
Insight: This is the second straight week Moore has sucked, so it wouldn't surprise us to see Clausen get the start next week. The problem isn't just QB, however, as John Fox has failed to get the ball in Jonathan Stewart's hands, force-feeding the ball to the ineffective DeAngelo Williams.

9/17/2010 12:28:00 PM
Description: Panthers QB Matt Moore (concussion) was able to practice in full again Friday and is listed as "probable" for Week Two against the Buccaneers. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Moore is still only a QB2, but his presence helps maintain Steve Smith's fantasy value.

9/16/2010 2:04:00 PM
Description: Steve Reed of the Gaston Gazette reports, via Twitter, that Moore (concussion) practiced fully on Thursday.
Insight: Moore should start on Sunday against Tampa Bay "barring an unforeseen setback." He is not a good fantasy option though. (RapidDraft.com)
