Named Final Four Most Outstanding Player as he helped lead the Kansas Jayhawks to the 2008 National Championship...Chalmers, whose crucial jumper in the waning moments of regulation allowed KU to go to overtime and defeat Memphis in the title game, was also named to the Big 12 Championship All-Tournament Team as well as the All-Big 12 Second Team following the regular season...Led the Jayhawks with 97 steals and 169 assists in 2007-08, his thefts tying the school record for a single season which he himself set a year earlier...Chalmers placed second on the team in scoring as a junior with his 12.8 ppg as he shot an outstanding 46.8 percent from three-point range and 51.6 percent from the floor overall...While he may have averaged better than four assists per game last season, he could stand to improve his ball-handling...Chalmers is already a skilled marksmen from the perimeter, and yet he`ll probably be the third player taken in the draft from his own school.
