Description: Thunder rookie center Steven Adams suffered a right ankle sprain in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against Memphis.
Insight: Adams started a couple of games earlier this season, but is seeing about 16 minutes off the bench and his statistics (4.1 ppg, 4.8 rpg) don't warrant attention from fantasy owners.

Description: Thunder rookie center Steven Adams is expected to move into the starting lineup for the next two games while Kendrick Perkins is out due to the death of his grandfather, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Insight: Adams, the 12th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, has played 20 minutes per game as a reserve this season and is averaging 6.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 0.5 steals. The Thunder are unlikely to remove Perkins from the starting lineup permanently, however, as they were reluctant to amnesty him even though it gave them a better chance to retain James Harden.
