Insight: "Kari is doing great," coach Lindy Ruff said. "He’ll see the doctors (Friday) to see if he can be cleared. If he’s cleared, he’ll keep progressing. He’s way ahead of where I thought he would be." Lehtonen suffered a concussion last Saturday when Minnesota's Erik Haula ran him over, causing his helmet to fly off and his head to hit the crossbar. Tim Thomas made his first start with the team Tuesday at St. Louis and will continue to handle the net until Lehtonen returns.

Insight: Tyutin sprained his ankle during the Olympics. The Russian blueliner has four goals, 24 points and 66 SOG in 53 games this season so fantasy owners haven't had a problem replacing him, but he's an important piece for the Blue Jackets. He'll sit out two more games, on Tuesday and Thursday.
Description: Ondrej Palat was involved in all three Tampa Bay goals Monday in a loss to Phoenix.

Insight: Stastny (20 G, 27 A) is considered day-to-day, but will apparently be undergoing more tests as this isn't his first series of back problems this season. He's a must start when in uniform, but we don't have a timetable for when that will happen.
Description: Carolina defenseman John-Michael Liles is questionable for Tuesday's game against NY Rangers due to an upper body injury.
Insight: Liles had many good fantasy seasons with Colorado from 2003-2011 posting 30 or more points in seven straight seasons, but he's been a non-factor in Toronto and Carolina. He's totaled just four points and six PIM in 28 games this season.

They'll have a chance to make it seven in a row Monday night at Calgary.
