A unanimous First-Team All-Big East selection as a senior...Earned a berth on the Conference USA All-Freshman Team and was chosen as the league`s Sixth Man of the Year in 2002-03...One of just six players in Marquette history to total 1,500 points and 500 rebounds for his career, finishing with 1,567 points and 524 rebounds....Shot 46.1 percent from three point range and 93.1 percent at the foul line for his career...Owns the school record for career three pointers with 354...As a senior, Novak averaged a team-high 17.5 ppg and 5.9 rpg, in addition to converting 74 of 76 free-throw attempts...Averaged 13.5 ppg on the strength of 46.1 percent shooting from long distance as a junior...Started 29 of 31 games as a sophomore, posting 12.5 ppg and 4.6 rpg...Played in 33 games as a freshman and turned in 6.7 ppg, while making 50.0 percent of his shots from behind the arc...One of the top shooters around, especially from long range and at the charity stripe...Has good size and length...Hard worker and good passer...Intelligent player who is more crafty than athletic...Needs to work on his inside game...Not the fastest or quickest player around...Tends to shy away from contact.
