New York, NY (Sports Network) - The NHL and NHLPA met for a sixth straight day on Sunday as the two sides are still working to end a lockout that has lasted almost two months.
Neither side had anything to say, but several reports indicate that contract issues are keeping the two sides from making any progress.
Nothing has been released on when the two sides will meet again, although they are expected to touch base on Monday when both NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr will be in Toronto for the Hockey Hall of Fame ceremony.
Regular season games have been canceled through Nov. 30, along with the Winter Classic contest that was supposed to be held on New Year's Day in Ann Arbor between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings.
The two sides have been without a CBA since the previous one expired just before midnight on Sept. 15.
