Capped off collegiate career by winning both the Maxwell Award (top college player) and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (top senior quarterback) in 2006...He set a school record with 37 touchdown passes as a senior, in addition to throwing for 3,426 yards...He is the only Notre Dame player to throw for more than 3,000 yards in a season, doing so twice...Quinn finished in the top five in the Heisman Trophy balloting two years in a row, including a third place showing in 2006...A Second Team AP All-American and the Cingular All-America Player of the Year recipient as a senior after completing 61.9 percent of his pass attempts with just seven interceptions...As a junior, Quinn broke through and earned Third Team All-American honors by the AP, throwing for a school-record 3,919 yards with 32 touchdowns passes...Not only holds 36 school records, but also ranks among the top 10 in NCAA Division I-A history in both passing yards (11,762) and passing touchdowns (95)...Has prototypical NFL size for a QB...A real leader with a tremendous work ethic...Good athlete who is tough to bring down...Has some mobility...Reads defenses well...Is experienced, tough and durable...Struggles under pressure at times and doesn't make many plays outside the pocket...Needs work on his deep ball, but has a tremendous upside.
