(Sports Network) - A pair of teams aiming to avoid a winless preseason meet at the Georgia Dome Thursday when the Atlanta Falcons square off with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Falcons fell to 0-3 in the exhibition season after losing to the Tennessee Titans, 27-16, last week in Nashville.
Matt Ryan went 11-of-19 for 138 yards for Atlanta in the setback. Julio Jones had four catches for 81 yards and Darius Johnson also had four receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown.
The Jags also dropped their third straight exhibition game last week when Bryce Brown and Chris Polk scored fourth- quarter rushing touchdowns, as Philadelphia rallied to get past Jacksonville, 31-24.
Three Jaguars quarterbacks combined to throw for 170 yards, two scores and one interception, with Chad Henne taking the majority of the snaps and going 11- of-18 for 106 yards and TD strikes to Justin Blackmon and Allen Reisner.
Jordan Todman broke off a 63-yard run for a score, part of his 105-yard, eight-carry performance.
The Falcons and Jaguars have met nine times in the preseason, including each of the last three years. Jacksonville leads the all-time preseason series 6-3, including a 24-14 win over Atlanta at EverBank Field in 2012.
