Insight: The Trail Blazers haven't gotten much out of the 7-foot-1 Leonard since drafting him 11th overall in 2012.

Insight: Leonard has started four games this season and averaged 14.5 ppg in that role. He had 22 points and 10 boards in his first start for the All-Star PF, will get another chance on Monday. The rookie has produced double-digit points in three consecutive games and has become fantasy worthy.

Description: Blazers rookie center Meyers Leonard missed Sunday's game against New Orleans after suffering a sprained ankle in the first half of last Friday's game against the Spurs and is questionable for Tuesday's game against Memphis.
Insight: X-rays were negative. Leonard went through pre-game warmups so he must be close. He has been seeing less minutes as the season goes on with the emergence of J.J. Hickson (17.6 ppg, 12.7 rpg since the All-Star break).

Insight: Like any rookie, Leonard has been up and down this season. In the last four games he's scored 12 points twice and eight and two in the other games.

Insight: Leoanrd started Nov. 12 in place of J.J. Hickson and scored 12 points with five rebounds and two blocks but only played nine minutes off the bench the following game. Start him if you own him.

Description: Blazers rookie center Meyers Leonard started for the first time in his career Wednesday against Phoenix and scored 12 points with five assists, two steals and two blocks.
Insight: Regular starter J.J. Hickson (10.3 ppg, 10.6 rpg) was inactive with a shoulder injury but shouldn't miss much time. Leonard isn't quite ready to be rostered in fantasy leagues yet but this was a positive sign.

Insight: Leonard will probably undergo tests to see if he suffered a concussion. He had one rebound in five minutes off the bench before suffering the injury.

Description: Illinois center Meyers Leonard has been selected by the Portland Trailblazers with the 11th choice in the 2012 NBA Draft.
Insight: The 7-foot-1 Leonard will have a shot to play as an athletic defensive force alongside PF LaMarcus Aldridge. He can rebound and block shots so he'll definitely have some fantasy value at the center position.
