New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young was suspended one game without pay by the NBA for throwing a punch at Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic.
The incident occurred with 7:33 left in the second quarter of the Lakers' 121-114 loss to the Suns on Wednesday. Young will serve his suspension Friday, when the Lakers face the Celtics in Boston.
Suns center Alex Len and forward Marcus Morris were both fined for their involvement in the altercation. Len was ejected for a Flagrant Foul 2 against Young and was fined $15,000.
Morris was fined $25,000 for escalating the incident.
