San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns made just two field goals in overtime, but it was two more than the San Antonio Spurs.
And the Suns unfathomably snapped the Spurs' 18-game home winning streak.
Wesley Johnson hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer in regulation to send the game into overtime and Marcin Gortat's go-ahead tip-in with 1:07 left in the extra session helped the Suns down the Spurs, 105-101, on Wednesday.
The Spurs missed all 10 of their field-goal attempts in overtime.
San Antonio, which was an NBA best 22-2 at home coming in, last dropped a game at the AT&T Center on Nov. 19 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Jermaine O'Neal added 22 points and 13 rebounds for Phoenix, which has won back-to-back overtime tilts.
The Suns went just 2-of-9 from the field in the extra period.
Tony Parker returned from a one-game absence due to a sore right triceps and tallied 22 points and eight assists for San Antonio, which capped a 7-2 road trip with a victory in Phoenix on Sunday.
The Suns trailed 97-92 with 49.9 seconds left in the fourth after Parker hit a jumper, but Marcus Morris nailed a 3-pointer at the other end before Tim Duncan knocked down a jumper to make it 99-95 with 11.9 ticks to go.
Goran Dragic hit a jumper to cut the margin to two and Manu Ginobili stepped to the foul line with a chance to seal the outcome with 3.7 second remaining. He made the first but missed the second. O'Neal secured the rebound on the lower left block and threw a perfect football pass to Johnson, who nailed a triple from the right wing at the horn.
The first points of overtime came when Parker split a pair of foul shots, but Gortat put the Suns in front with 1:07 to play. After Ginobili missed a trey at the other end, Johnson misfired on a jumper, but O'Neal was there to clean up the mess with 9.4 to go.
Danny Green was off the mark from beyond the arc with 6.1 left and P.J. Tucker split a pair from the line with 4.1 on the clock to seal it.
San Antonio led 27-25 after a quarter of play, 52-45 at the break and 77-67 going into the fourth.
Phoenix outscored the Spurs 33-23 in the final frame of regulation.
San Antonio's Stephen Jackson left the game with a sprained right ankle ... The Spurs will play 12 of their next 14 games at home ... Duncan finished with 19 points and 11 boards for San Antonio.
