Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Timberwolves signed forward Mickael Gelabale and center Chris Johnson to 10-day contracts on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old Gelabale has appeared in five games for the Wolves, averaging 7.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 21.8 minutes per game.
Gelabale began this season playing in Croatia and Spain. He also played for the French National Team in the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Selected by Seattle in the second round of the 2005 NBA Draft, Gelabale averaged 4.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 109 games with the SuperSonics from 2006-08.
The 6-foot-7 forward has also played professionally in France, Belgium and Russia.
Johnson, 27, has appeared in five games for the Wolves, averaging 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 17.2 minutes per game.
The 6-foot-11 center averaged 10.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 14 games this season with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA D-League.
