Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay had a team-high 33 points in the, 116-111, victory over the Timberwolves on Tuesday.
Insight: Gay was just 9-for-17 from the field with two 3-pointers, but he was also 13-of-15 at the line. Gay filled the stat sheet with seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal as well. This was Gay's first game back from a concussion, so if owners haven't already, Gay should go back in every starting lineup.

Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay will start on Tuesday against the Timberwolves according to CSN California.
Insight: Gay has missed the last three games with a concussion, but he passed the final concussion protocol test in order to start Tuesday. Without Carl Landry and DeMarcus Cousins, Gay could have a big night.

DeMarcus Cousins, C4/1/2015 7:05:00 PM
Description: Kings PF/C DeMarcus Cousins will play on Wednesday versus the Rockets according to ESPN.
Insight: This is a bit surprising because coach George Karl talked about resting Cousins for road games the rest of the way. No matter, though, because Cousins has to be in lineups as long as he is playing.
Rudy Gay, F3/31/2015 3:28:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay led the team with 24 points during Monday's loss to the Grizzlies, but suffered a concussion and will miss 4-5 days, according to coach George Karl.

Insight: Cousins has been a fantasy stud all season (24.1 ppg, 12.4 rpg, 3.3 apg, 1.5 apg, 1.7 bpg) and this is a disaster for fantasy owners. It isn't a specific injury, just rest, and could happen more times over the finals weeks of the season.
DeMarcus Cousins, C3/27/2015 10:14:00 PM
Description: Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins had a huge game during Friday's loss to the Pelicans.
Insight: He had 39 points, 19 boards, two assists, one steal, three blocks, and two turnovers, while shooting 16-of-28 from the field and 7-of-12 from the line. Cousins desperately needs some help around him.

Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has moved back to being a game-time decision according to Fox Sports 1.
Insight: We wrote a note about 15 minutes ago saying he was playing, but now Fox Sports 1 is reporting Cousins as a game-time decision again. Whether this is Cousins and the Kings changing their minds or a false report, this is quite confusing. Stay tuned for one further update.
DeMarcus Cousins, C3/20/2015 8:22:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will play on Friday versus the Hornets according to Fox Sports 1.
Insight: Cousins has been on fire lately, averaging 29.7 ppg in the last three games, so he should be in everyone's lineup.
Rudy Gay, F3/18/2015 6:37:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay is listed as probable against the Clippers on Wednesday according to NBA.com.
Insight: Gay should get a ton of shots on Wednesday since DeMarcus Cousins is out. Gay is averaging 20.7 ppg, 5.9 rpg and 3.7 apg this season.
DeMarcus Cousins, C3/18/2015 6:25:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins is out on Wednesday versus the Clippers according to NBA.com.
Insight: That's really too bad because Cousins is averaging 29.7 ppg in the last three games. Cousins has played in most of the games this season, but it should surprise if he rests a lot down the stretch since the Kings are out of the playoffs.
Rudy Gay, F3/16/2015 4:26:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay (knee) will not play Monday against Atlanta.
Insight: He did not play on Saturday, and he is looking very iffy for Wednesday. Omri Casspi, Ray McCallum, and Ben McLemore could all see a bump in minutes.
DeMarcus Cousins, C3/16/2015 10:02:00 AM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has posted 69 points and 30 rebounds over the past two games and will face a Hawks team on Monday without starting center Al Horford.

Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay is doubtful for Saturday's game against Washington due to a left patellar tendon strain, according to James Ham
Insight: Gay has been playing very well of late, averaging 27.8 ppg over his last five, so this is really bad news for his fantasy owners.
DeMarcus Cousins, C3/13/2015 9:38:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins had an absurd game during Friday's loss against the 76ers.
Insight: We are not sure what was more impressive - the fact Cousins pulled down a career-high 24 rebounds and scored a season-high 39 points, or that he went 15-of-20 from the line and 12-of-24 from the field. Nevertheless, it was a dominant performance.
Rudy Gay, F3/12/2015 3:22:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay, who put up 26 points Wednesday against Charoltte, wasn't at Thursday's practice, according to beat writer Jason Jones.
Insight: Gay, who has been dealing with a sore Achilles, was likely just getting extra time off, like center DeMarcus Cousins, but check back before tipoff on Friday to verify he's in the lineup as a lot of teams rest starters against the Sixers.
DeMarcus Cousins, C3/12/2015 3:18:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins did not practice with the team on Thursday.
Insight: He's had a sore ankle, so this may just be the team giving him extra time off, but the Kings play the Sixers on Friday and a lot of teams have been resting starters and still winning against Philadelphia. Check back close to tipoff on Friday to make sure he's in the lineup.
DeMarcus Cousins, C3/11/2015 9:38:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins posted a double-double on Wednesday night.
Insight: He finished with 20 points and 14 boards, along with one assist, two steals, and four turnovers. Cousins is a top-15 option.

Description: Sacramento guard Ben McLemore scored a team-high 27 points during Wednesday's win over the Hornets.
Insight: He played very well, going 10-of-16 from the field, 4-of-4 from the line, and 3-of-4 from downtown. McLemore also had two rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one turnover. He can still be left on the wire. Rudy Gay pitched in 26 points as well.

Rudy Gay, F3/6/2015 9:51:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay scored 39 points versus the Magic on Friday, but it still wasn't enough as Sacramento lost, 119-114.

DeMarcus Cousins, C3/4/2015 10:57:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins registered a season-low three rebounds versus the Spurs on Wednesday.

Insight: Gay also had eight boards, one assist, one 3-pointer, two turnovers, and shot 10-of-22 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line. He is a top-40 option in standard leagues.
DeMarcus Cousins, C3/1/2015 4:30:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will not play on Sunday versus the Trail Blazers.
Insight: Cousins will miss his second straight game. Carl Landry will probably start again with Reggie Evans seeing an increase in minutes as well, but Rudy Gay will see the biggest fantasy boost without Cousins.
DeMarcus Cousins, C2/28/2015 6:50:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins missed practice on Saturday due to his ankle injury, and he is questionable at best for Sunday's game versus the Trail Blazers.
Insight: Cousins played through his ankle injury on Wednesday and suffered a setback, so it is unlikely he will try that again. Jason Thompson registered a double-double and Ben McLemore scored 21 points without Cousins on Friday, so if Cousins doesn't play Sunday, those two players are fantasy owners' best options.

Rudy Gay, F2/10/2015 7:21:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay will play on Tuesday versus the Bulls.
Insight: This is great news. Sacramento would not rush Gay back right before the All-Star break if he wasn't 100 percent. Owners can start Gay as they normally would. Omri Casspi will return to the bench.

Description: Kings guard Darren Collison (hip flexor strain) has missed the last two games and has been downgraded to out for Tuesday's game against Chicago.

Insight: Sessions shot 6-of-9 with two 3-pointers and three rebounds. Collison is listed day-to-day, so Sessions' fantasy value is only useful on a plug-in basis.
Rudy Gay, FHot11/12/2014 9:41:00 AM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay scored a team-high 26 points against the Mavericks.
Insight: Unfortunately for the Kings, a ferocious Dallas comeback, in which the Mavericks outscored the Kings, 30-15, in the third quarter, spoiled Gay's great night. Gay had eight rebounds and eight assists but also had seven turnovers.
Ramon Sessions, G11/11/2014 8:48:00 PM
Description: Kings guard Ramon Sessions will start on Tuesday in place of the injured Darren Collison.
Insight: Collison has a stiff shoulder, so Sessions gets the spot start. For daily leagues, Sessions is a decent plug-in, but for weekly or roto leagues, it probably isn't worth grabbing Sessions for one game.
Darren Collison, GHot11/8/2014 9:20:00 AM
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison scored 16 points in Sacramento's double-overtime victory over the Suns, 114-112.
Insight: Collison is off to a solid start with the Kings, averaging 15.2 points and 6.2 assists while shooting 42 percent from the field in the first six games.
DeMarcus Cousins, C11/8/2014 9:13:00 AM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins scored 25 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead Sacramento over Phoenix, 114-112, in double overtime.
Insight: Even with the 10 extra minutes of game time, Cousins' line was impressive on Friday. He shot below 50 percent but made up for it going 13-for-14 at the line. He also had two blocks. Cousins is averaging 24.2 ppg, 11.8 rpg and 1.3 bpg through six games. The Kings are off to a surprisingly fast start at 5-1.
Rudy Gay, FHot11/2/2014 6:20:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay put together a second consecutive solid outing Sunday against the Clippers.
Insight: He was 13-of-19 from the field and 11-of-13 from the line for 40 points friday night and came back with 25 points, seven rebounds and six assists on Sunday.
DeMarcus Cousins, C11/2/2014 6:16:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins put up huge numbers on Sunday - 34 points, 17 rebounds, five assists in leading his Kings to a win at the Clippers.
Insight: Cousins was averaging a "pedestrian-for-him" 18.5 ppg, 10 rpg so this should make fantasy owners smile.
Rudy Gay, F11/1/2014 9:28:00 AM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay was outstanding in Friday's win over Portland.
Insight: He was 13-of-19 from the field and 11-of-13 from the line, for 40 points. Gay also had eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and zero turnovers. What a night for Sacramento's small forward.
Darren Collison, GHot10/31/2014 1:46:00 PM
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison was very good on opening night, posting 13 points, four rebounds, eight assists, five steals and a block.
Insight: In fact, the only fault we can find is a 4-of-12 shooting night, but this bodes well for his becoming a top point guard who can fill up a box score.
Ramon Sessions, G10/25/2014 5:25:00 PM
Description: Kings guard Ramon Sessions should not be forgotten about heading into this season.
Insight: He has career averages of 11.7 points per game and 4.7 assists per game, and after averaging 15.8 points per game two seasons ago, Sessions easily holds value. He will most likely go undrafted, but owners should monitor his playing time early in the season.
Darren Collison, G10/25/2014 5:22:00 PM
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison has a chance to be a steal in fantasy drafts.
Insight: With Isaiah Thomas gone, Collison will be starting at point guard, and will have a great chance to improve on his 11.4 points per game, 3.7 assists per game, and 1,2 steals per game, averages from last season. Owners should think about drafting Collison beginning in the 10th round.
Ben McLemore, G10/25/2014 5:20:00 PM
Description: Sacramento guard Ben McLemore is nothing more than a late-round pick heading into the season.
Insight: He averaged only 8.8 points per game, 2.9 rebounds per game, 1.0 assists per game, and shot 38 percent from the field. McLemore may raise those numbers slightly, but with rookie Nik Stauskas behind him on the depth chart, the numbers for both players will most likely be inconsistent.
Rudy Gay, F10/25/2014 5:17:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay should continue to a valuable fantasy player.
Insight: In 55 games with Sacramento, Gay averaged 20.1 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 3.1 assists per game, 1.2 steals game, while shooting 48 percent from the field. These numbers are somewhat underrated, and as a result owners should not be afraid to pull the trigger on Gay in the third round.
DeMarcus Cousins, C10/25/2014 5:13:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins is in line for a monster season.
Insight: After averaging 22.7 points per game, 11.7 rebounds per game, 1.5 steals per game, 1.3 blocks per game, while shooting 50 percent from the field last season, Cousins should easily be drafted toward the end of the first round.
Jason Thompson, F10/25/2014 5:11:00 PM
Description: Kings forward Jason Thompson will open up the season as the team's starting power forward.
Insight: He still is not a fantays-relevant player. At the very least, owners con monitor his prgress early on, but Thompson should remain undrafted.
DeMarcus Cousins, C8/15/2014 3:43:00 PM
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins limped off the court in Thursday's Team USA practice, but the MRI revealed no structural damage.
Insight: Team USA and Sacramento fans along with fantasy owners can relax. The 23-year-old was a fantasy stud, averaging 22.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks in 71 games last season. He's also the best big man on Team USA and without him the team would be very small.
Isaiah Thomas, G7/11/2014 7:46:00 PM
Description: According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Kings restricted free agent PG Isaiah Thomas has agreed to a four-year, $27 million offer sheet with the Phoenix Suns.
Insight: The Kings will reportedly agree to a sign-and-trade for a $7 million trade exception and Alex Oriakhi. Sacramento didn't want to commit to the 5-foot-9 Thomas even though he averaged 20.3 ppg and 6.3 apg last season. The Suns are still expected to keep RFA Eric Bledsoe, so Thomas will become a third guard in 2014-15.
Darren Collison, G7/3/2014 12:53:00 PM
Description: Darren Collison has agreed to a three-year, $16 million contract with the Sacramento Kings, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.
Insight: Collison averaged 25.9 minutes, 11.4 points, 3.7 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals with the Clippers last season, though he was much better in 35 starts (14.8 ppg, 5.3 apg, 2.5 rpg, 1.5 spg). Collison said he hopes to compete for a starting job and he may just do that if the Kings choose to let restricted free agent Isaiah Thomas walk. The Kings will be the fifth team the 26-year-old Collison has played for in six seasons in the NBA.
Rudy Gay, F6/22/2014 4:40:00 PM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay has picked up his player option for next season. SOURCE: Yahoo Sports
Insight: He'll wait until 2015 to become a free agent. Gay (20.0 ppg in 2013-14) seems to enjoy playing in Sacramento and could be willing to sign an extension later this offseason.
