Description: According to Yahoo's Jeff Passan, the Yankees offered Shin-Soo Choo seven years and $140 million but he turned it down.
Insight: There's no way Choo is going to get a better offer than that so it's pretty puzzling that he would reject it. The Astros are also said to be interested in Choo, who hit .285 last season with 20 steals and 21 HR. His .423 on base percentage was fourth-best in the majors last season.
Description: The Indians have traded outfielder Drew Stubbs to Colorado for lefthander Josh Outman. SOURCE: Ken Rosenthal, Fox Sports
Insight: It's never a bad thing when a hitter plays half of his games at Coors Field. With that said, Stubbs has never hit above .270 and his 17 stolen bases last season were his fewest since 2009. We wouldn't waste a draft pick on him.
Description: Rajai Davis' new deal with the Tigers will pay him $10 million over the next two seasons. SOURCE: Ben Nicholson-Smith, Sportnet
Insight: Davis has 50-steal potential but he probably won't get close to that while playing in Detroit. He's going to platoon with Andy Dirks in left field. In 331 at-bats for Toronto in 2013, Davis produced six homers, 24 RBI and 49 runs scored.
Description: According to ESPN, Matt Kemp's agent, Dave Stewart, believes Kemp will be traded before the season starts.
Insight: It would probably take a handful of prospects to get the deal done. Kemp's primary suitors appear to be the Red Sox and Mariners. Kemp missed most of last season with ankle and shoulder injuries.
