Morgantown, WV (Sports Network) - West Virginia forward Aaric Murray has left the men's basketball program.
Mountaineers coach Bob Huggins made the announcement Monday.
"We came to a mutual agreement that it would be in his best interest to finish his collegiate career somewhere else," Huggins said in a statement.
Murray, who graduated in May, averaged 8.8 points and 5.9 rebounds as a junior last season. He had transferred to West Virginia from La Salle.
