(SportsNetwork.com) - Troy Tulowitzki and the offensive-minded Colorado Rockies aim for a four-game sweep of the New York Mets when the two clubs square off Sunday at Coors Field.

The Rockies have posted 10 or more runs in back-to-back games and registered a dramatic 11-10 win Saturday night. Pinch-hitter Charlie Culberson belted a two-run homer with one out in the bottom of the ninth for the Rockies, winners in three straight and 12 of the last 16 games.

"I don't hit many home runs, but for some reason right there I hit it and I just knew it had to go out," said Culberson. "It was a great feeling."

Nolan Arenado hit a grand slam in an eight-run fifth inning and extended his hit streak to 23 games, while Tulowitzki chipped in three hits and three runs scored. Ryan Wheeler homered to start the big fifth frame.

Franklin Morales had a rough start for Colorado, yielding six runs -- five earned -- in five innings. The late surge made a winner out of LaTroy Hawkins.

Tulowitzki, who posted his 1,000th hit, is batting .472 in his last 15 games with six homers, 18 runs, 19 RBI and 25 hits. Arenado is hitting .355 with a .367 on-base percentage, 14 RBI and 33 hits during the streak. The run is tied with Dante Bichette's hit streak from 1995 for second-longest in team history. Michael Cuddyer's 27-game streak last year is the club record.

The Rockies are a game off for the NL West lead and will welcome the Texas Rangers for two games on the homestand.

Jhoulys Chacin will make his season debut for Colorado Sunday and he has been on the disabled list because of a shoulder strain. Chacin is coming off a career-high 14 wins (14-10) in 31 starts and a 3.47 ERA in 2013.

The right-hander has a 1-1 record and a 1.80 ERA in four games (3 starts) in his career against the Mets.

Meanwhile, the Mets look to avoid a sweep before venturing down south for a three-game series against the Miami Marlins.

Kyle Farnsworth blew the save for allowing Culberson's home run and starting pitcher Jenrry Mejia didn't have his best stuff, giving up eight runs and nine hits in 4 1/3 innings.

The Mets had a 17-13 advantage in hits and blew a 6-0 lead. They were led by Daniel Murphy, who went 4-for-6 with three runs scored. David Wright added three hits, while Chris Young, Curtis Granderson, Anthony Recker and Lucas Duda had two apiece. Young and Granderson produced RBI hits to tie the game in the sixth.

"We fought back time and again tonight," said Mets manager Terry Collins. "We swung the bats very well."

Juan Lagares went 1-for-6 with an RBI to extend his hit streak to 12 games.

Dillon Gee will make the start for the Mets Sunday and he has won two of his past three appearances, including last Sunday's 4-0 win over Miami. He hurled eight scoreless innings and scattered three hits with six K's and four walks.

Gee, a right-hander, is 2-1 with a 2.88 ERA in six starts and has allowed only two runs over his previous three outings. Gee has made three career starts against the Rockies, going 2-1 with a 4.19 ERA in 19 1/3 innings.

Though the Mets swept the Rockies in three games at home last season, they lost three of four in Colorado.
