Insight: The injury occurred during Wednesday's win over Chicago, and Simmonds even scored the opening goal of the game. He ends the season with 28 goals, 50 points, 66 penalty minutes, and 24 power-play points through 75 games.

Insight: It took eight games in March for Kessel to find the back of the net. It also took a penalty shot to do it. He has two assists in the month as well with a minus-12 rating. Things have been better for Kessel and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
