Description: Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo (20 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, four steals) was impressive Friday in a win over Brooklyn.
Insight: Rondo (12.2 ppg, 8.2 apg) is quietly rounding into form. The C's are going nowhere this season but if Rondo stays and Boston lands a top-five pick in the draft, this team could be in the playoff mix in 2015.
Description: Milwaukee shooting guard O.J. Mayo played just three minutes before getting tossed Friday against the Pelicans.
Insight: Mayo was thrown out for elbowing Greg Stiemsma. He'll finish the night with zero points and could be facing a suspension. It's been a nightmare season for the 26-year-old and a suspension would just add insult to injury.
Description: It doesn't look like Los Angeles guard Jamal Crawford is close to returning from a strained calf. SOURCE: ESPN Los Angeles
Insight: Crawford (19.0 ppg) has sat out three games in a row and we doubt he plays Saturday against the Hawks. Darren Collison has benefited the most from his absence, averaging 19 ppg over his last three appearances.
Description: Grizzlies swingman Mike Miller is in the lineup Friday against Chicago. SOURCE: Memphis Commercial Appeal
Insight: Miller (6.9 ppg) took a shot to the face Wednesday against the Nets and needed six stitches to close the wound. He's been held without a point in two of his last three games. Fantasy owners should be looking elsewhere.
Description: Nets guard Joe Johnson missed shootaround with an illness but he's going to play through it Friday against Boston. SOURCE: Tim Bontemps, New York Post
Insight: Johnson has shot an efficient 15-for-24 (62.5 percent) from the floor over his last two contests. That includes an 8-of-11 (72.7 percent) clip from long range. Make sure he's in your starting lineup.
Description: Houston guard Patrick Beverley (broken nose) is expected to play Friday.
Insight: Beverley took a shot to the face from Magic forward Tobias Harris on Wednesday. He has limited fantasy value averaging 9.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.6 apg, but his expected court time will stop fantasy owners from jumping on Jeremy Lin.
Description: Brooklyn shooting guard Joe Johnson is questionable for Friday's game against Boston due to illness.
Insight: Johnson missed the morning shootaround, but will be a game-time decision, according to Tim Bontempts of the New York Post. JJ is averaging 15.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 2.7 apg this season, but has averaged 20.0 ppg over his last two starts. Marcus Thornton would get the start if Johnson can't go.
Description: Clippers shooting guard Jamal Crawford won't be in the lineup Thursday against the Lakers.
Insight: Crawford's calf has been bothering him for about a week. There's a decent chance he'll be back for Saturday's game with Atlanta. Until then, expect Darren Collison to absorb most of his minutes.
Description: Golden State guard Stephen Curry hurt his leg Wednesday against Boston. Despite the injury, he expects to suit up Friday against the Hawks. SOURCE: Rusty Simmons, San Francisco Chronicle
Insight: Curry (23.8 ppg, 8.7 apg, 4.5 rpg) was limited to 22 minutes on Wednesday but if the game had been close, he probably would have seen more playing time. Fantasy owners have no reason not to start him on Friday.
Description: Celtics guard Avery Bradley is expected to miss the next two weeks with a bruised ankle. SOURCE: Boston Herald
Insight: Bradley's MRI came back negative. The Celtics are angling for a high draft pick and won't be rushing Bradley back into action. With Gerald Wallace out for the season, Jerryd Bayless (8.6 ppg) has emerged as the team's best option at shooting guard.
Description: Pacers star Paul George blames last night's poor performance on a stiff back. SOURCE: Indianapolis Star
Insight: George had the worst shooting night of his career on Wednesday, missing all nine of his attempts in a 22-point loss to Charlotte. Despite the injury, George fully expects to play Friday against the Rockets.
Description: Suns guard Eric Bledsoe will return from his knee injury sometime within the next week. SOURCE: Arizona Republic
Insight: He could be back as early as Sunday, though it's more likely Bledsoe (18.0 ppg, 5.8 apg, 4.3 rpg) will return Monday against the Clippers or Wednesday versus Cleveland. We haven't seen him play in a game since December 30th.
Description: Warriors point guard Stephen Curry sat out most of the second half Wednesday against Boston. According to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, the absence was related to a right leg injury.
Insight: It's hard to tell if Curry was really hurt or if he was just resting because the Warriors had a big lead. Either way, he finished with 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting. Golden State begins a three-game homestand Friday against the Hawks.
Description: Clippers guard Jamal Crawford (strained calf) has been downgraded to doubtful for Thursday's game against the Lakers, according to Dan Woike of the Orange County Register.
Insight: Crawford was given a timetable of 2-3 games and he has missed the last two. Darren Collison started in his place in both and should have another strong game Thursday, as should Matt Barnes, who had 28 points Tuesday.
Description: Wizards sixth man Martell Webster (back) missed shootaround Wednesday morning and probably won't play, according to J. Michael of csnwashington.com.
Insight: Webster went through non-contact drills Tuesday after missing Monday's game due to back spasms. He was a terrific fantasy option when Bradley Beal was out of the lineup, but he has averaged 26.4 mpg, 9.0 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 1.8 3pg his last 35 games. Washington's starters all saw extra minutes on Monday with Webster out.
Description: Charlotte shooting guard Gerald Henderson will miss at least the next three games with a right calf strain, according to the Bobcats on Twitter.
Insight: Henderson will be reevaluated after that. Gary Neal started Monday and had 10 points, five assists and two threes in 33 minutes, while Chris Douglas-Roberts played 24 minutes and had 12 points.
Description: Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo (ankle) will play Wednesday after a five-game absence.
Insight: Afflalo was dealing with an ankle sprain. Moe Harkless started all five games in his absence and averaged 35.7 minutes, 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 threes, 1.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals his last four, but he'll go back to a reserve role.
Description: Clippers guard Jamal Crawford (strained calf) could return from his injury Thursday against the Lakers. "Jamal is doing great, actually," coach Doc Rivers said. "I anticipate (him playing) maybe as early as the next game or maybe a couple of games after that." SOURCE: latimes.com.
Insight: Crawford was given a timetable of 2-3 games and he has missed the last two. Darren Collison started in his place in both but will go back to backing up Chris Paul when Crawford returns.
Description: Lakers point guard Jordan Farmar has generated 18.8 points, 6.0 assists, 3.8 threes and 1.5 steals in just 25.2 minutes per game over his last four games.
Insight: Farmar hasn't entered the starting lineup yet but he's getting more minutes than starter Kendall Marshall, who has averaged 2.0 ppg on .176 shooting and 8.3 apg in his last seven games. Steve Nash is doubtful to return from his nerve issue this season, so Farmar should be owned in all leagues.
Description: Lakers guard Kent Bazemore had 23 points, four rebounds, four threes and three assists in 35 minutes Tuesday against the Pelicans.
Insight: Bazemore has averaged 32.8 minutes, 16.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.6 steals in seven games since the Warriors traded him to Los Angeles. He should be added in all leagues.
Description: New Orleans shooting guard Eric Gordon had 28 points, six assists, four triples and two steals in 38 minutes Tuesday.
Insight: Gordon has been on fire from downtown over his last 10 games, making 47.8 percent from behind the arc. He has averaged 16.3 points, 3.0 assists, 2.2 threes and 1.0 steals in that span. The 25-year-old Gordon making it through 58 games is one of the biggest surprises of the season after he played just 51 combined in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
Description: Hornets point guard Brian Roberts had 19 points, two assists and one three in 29 minutes Tuesday at Los Angeles.
Insight: Roberts has averaged 12 points, 4.0 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 1.1 threes and 0.8 steals in 28 starts this season and will remain in the starting lineup the rest of the season after Jrue Holiday was shut down.
Description: Pelicans swingman Tyreke Evans had another excellent game Tuesday, scoring 24 points with 11 assists, seven rebounds, one steal and one block in 43 minutes.
Insight: In four games since he replaced Al Farouq-Aminu in the starting lineup, Evans has averaged 40.1 minutes, 21.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.3 threes. We're surprised the Pelicans took so long to make the change after giving Evans a four-year, $44 million contract in the offseason. He averaged just 24.8 minutes and 12 ppg in 49 games off the bench.
Description: Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley has drilled 10-of-19 from behind the arc the last two games and score 19 points in both.
Insight: Beverley added two assists, two rebounds, three steals and a block in 33 minutes Tuesday against the Heat. Jeremy Lin is struggling and dealing with a back injury, so Beverley should continue to play big minutes at point guard.
Description: Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook needed just 20 minutes to pick up his eighth career triple-double Tuesday against the 76ers.
Insight: According to Elias, that's the second-fastest triple-double in NBA history. Westbrook (13 points, 14 assists, ten rebounds) and the starters watched most of the second half from the bench as the Thunder rolled to an easy 125-92 victory. The Sixers have now lost 15 straight.
Description: Indiana small forward Paul George didn't shoot the ball well Tuesday against the Warriors (8-for-23) but still managed 26 points, 12 rebounds and four assists.
Insight: George has been anything but efficient over his last five games, shooting just 39 percent from the field during that span. But when you're taking as many shots as George is (17.5 field goal attempts per game), fantasy owners tend not to complain. As long as George (22.7 ppg) keeps shooting, fantasy owners should be able to look past his low percentage.
Description: Klay Thompson's contested two with less than a second remaining gave Golden State a 98-96 win over Indiana Tuesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Insight: He also played solid defense on Paul George, who watched his three-pointer rim out as time expired. Thompson logged a game-high 41 minutes and led the Warriors with 25 points on 10-for-20 shooting. He's made at least two threes in each of his last five games.
Description: Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha (calf) said Tuesday that he'll be on crutches for a couple of weeks, according to Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman.
Insight: Sefolosha is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a calf strain. Caron Butler made his Thunder debut off the bench Tuesday but could soon enter the starting lineup. Reggie Jackson also will play starter's minutes going forward as he'll pick up extra time at shooting guard. Perry Jones and Jeremy Lamb will get whatever minutes are left over from Sefolosha's absence.
Description: Rockets guard Jeremy Lin (back) is expected to play Tuesday against the Heat, according to Mark Berman of myfoxhouston.com.
Insight: Lin has contributed just 7.4 ppg on 31.7 percent shooting, 4.0 assists and 3.1 rebounds his last eight games, and now he's battling a sore back. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere for backcourt help.
Description: Boston guard Avery Bradley (ankle) will have an MRI Wednesday, according to A. Sherrod Blakely of csnne.com.
Insight: Bradley sprained his ankle twice the week prior to the All-Star break and will have missed 15 of the last 18 games if he sits out Wednesday. The guard told coach Brad Stevens that he feels "much better" this time around compared to his first return from the injury.
Description: Phoenix guard Eric Bledsoe (torn meniscus) is feeling "spring-training type" soreness after his last practice session.
Insight: The 24-year-old Bledsoe averaged 18 points, 5.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in 24 games before undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus on Jan. 10. He'll practice again on Wednesday and could return as soon as Thursday against OKC as long as he doesn't have any setbacks.
Description: Clippers guard Jamal Crawford is expected to miss Tuesday's game against Phoenix with a minor strained calf injury.
Insight: The team just signed Danny Granger and will need him and Darren Collison to fill in for Crawford. Prior to suffering the injury in Wednesday's game, Crawford had scored 19 or more points in 18 of his previous 19 games while averaging 24.2 ppg in that span.
Description: Rockets guard Jeremy Lin sat out practice Monday with a sore back and will be a game-time decision.
Insight: Lin has contributed just 7.4 ppg on 31.7 percent shooting, 4.0 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 0.5 steals over his last eight games. Even if he plays Tuesday against the Heat, fantasy owners should look elsewhere for backcourt help.
Description: Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade did not play Monday night (rest), but is expected to return for the second half of the back-to-back set.
Insight: Wade had played in all five games since the All-Star break and scored 23+ points in each of the last four. His return should take some of the workload from LeBron James, so a repeat of his 61-point night is unlikely.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill missed a second straight game Sunday, but is expected to return on Tuesday, according to the Pacers' site.
Insight: Hill is dealing with a bruised shoulder. C.J. Watson replaced him the past two games, but has minimal fantasy value. Hill doesn't get much attention, but is a solid PG averaging 10.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.5 apg, 1.0 spg, 1.4 threes per contest.
Description: Cavs guard Dion Waiters (hyperextended left knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against San Antonio.
Insight: Waiters missed the last seven games, but he expected to be ready. He averaged 16.8 ppg on 47.9 percent shooting in the five games before the injury, but that was pre-Luol Deng and before Jarrett Jack allowed Kyrie Irving to play some SG.
Description: Denver point guard Ty Lawson (broken rib) is officially back in the starting lineup Monday after missing the last nine games.
Insight: Lawson (18 ppg, 8.8 apg, 3.5 rpg, 1.5 spg) has averaged a career-high 35.6 minutes per game this season. His return will bump Aaron Brooks to the bench and take some minutes away from Evan Fournier.
Description: Wizards sixth man Martell Webster has a sore back and will miss Monday's game, according to Michael Lee of the Washington Post.
Insight: Webster was a terrific fantasy option when Bradley Beal was out of the lineup, but he has averaged 26.4 mpg, 9.0 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 1.8 3pg his last 35 games. Andre Miller, Al Harrington and Chris Singleton will absorb Webster's minutes.
Description: Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo (ankle) is expected to play Wednesday, coach Jacque Vaughn said, according to NBA.com.
Insight: Afflalo missed the last five games with an ankle sprain. Moe Harkless started all five and averaged 35.7 minutes, 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 threes, 1.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals his last four, but he'll go back to a reserve role when Afflalo returns.
Description: According to NBA.com, Spurs coach Gregg Popovich doesn't have plans to rest Tony Parker during back-to-backs.
Insight: Parker returned Sunday after missing seven of the previous 10 games with various ailments and had 22 points, seven assists and three rebounds in 32 minutes. "I'll see how he feels, how his body does," Popovich said before Sunday's game. "But I don't think (Parker will be rested). It's not what I'm thinking right now." San Antonio has five back-to-backs in the remaining 23 games.
Description: Cavs guard Dion Waiters (knee) expects to be back in the lineup Tuesday, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Insight: Waiters missed the last seven games with a hyperextended knee. He averaged 16.8 ppg on 47.9 percent shooting in the five games before the injury, but it probably won't carry over after the long layoff.
Description: According to Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman, Thunder guard Caron Butler will be available to play Tuesday and may even start at shooting guard.
Insight: Butler signed with the Thunder after clearing waivers Saturday but didn't play Sunday because of the weather. With Thabo Sefolosha out for 4-6 weeks with a calf strain, Butler is worth a look in deeper leagues. Reggie Jackson also will continue to play starter's minutes with Sefolosha out, while Jeremy Lamb and Perry Jones will receive extra playing time as well.
Description: Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni says he "doubts" Steve Nash (back) will play again this season, according to DAve McMenamin of espn.com.
Insight: Nash (7.6 ppg, 4.7 apg) has been battling nerve issues in his back all season. Jordan Farmar and Kendall Marshall will share point-guard duties, with Farmar serving as a better fantasy option.
Description: Rockets guard Jeremy Lin sat out practice Monday with a sore back, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.
Insight: Lin has contributed just 7.4 ppg on 31.7 percent shooting, 4.0 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 0.5 steals over his last eight games. Even if he plays Tuesday against the Heat, fantasy owners should consider other options.
Description: Based on comments coach Monty Williams made, it sounds like Pelicans swingman Tyreke Evans will remain in the starting lineup the rest of the season. Evans has started the last two games and averaged 38.1 minutes, 18 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 threes.
Insight: "I try to commit to lineups," Williams said, according to nola.com. "We had Al-Farouq (Aminu) in the lineup for a good portion of two years. When you commit to a guy, you commit to him, you try to help him as best you can. But then it reaches a point where you're like, 'OK, we've got to move in a different direction.'" Evans came off the bench the first 49 games of the season and averaged just 24.8 mpg, 12 ppg, 4.4 rpg and 4.4 apg.
Description: Los Angeles guard Steve Nash is questionable for Monday's game against Portland.
Insight: Nash (7.6 ppg, 4.7 apg) has been battling back and nerve issues all season. Don't look for Kendall Marshall anymore, now that Jordan Farmar is back, if Nash doesn't play Farmar is the best Lakers' fantasy option at PG.
Description: Denver point guard Ty Lawson (broken rib) says he will return to action Monday.
Insight: This is a huge surprise since as of this weekend there was no timetable for him coming back. he might be rusty after missing nine games, but his return relegates Aaron brooks and Evan Fournier to back up duties.
Description: Suns shooting guard Gerald Green dropped 33 points on the Hawks Sunday night.
Insight: Green made 9-of-14 from the field, 5-of-8 from 3-point range and 10-of-10 from the free-throw line for his second 30-point game in the last two weeks. He has averaged 19.6 points and 3.4 threes over his last 16 games. Unfortunately, Eric Bledsoe's impending return from a torn meniscus will likely push Green back to the bench.
Description: Hawks guard Jeff Teague scored 26+ points for the fourth straight game Sunday against the Suns.
Insight: Teague had 29 points, nine assists, two steals and one block in 31 minutes Sunday and has averaged 17.8 field-goal attempts and 7.3 free-throw attempts per game over his last four. With Al Horford done for the year and Paul Millsap out with a bruised knee, Teague is the only game in town at the moment.
Description: Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook has made 25-of-41 (.610) from the field (10-of-17 3PT) while scoring 23.7 ppg his last three games.
Insight: Westbrook shot just 6-of-24 in the first two games back from his knee surgery but has returned to top form quickly. He scored 26 points (10-12 FG) with five assists, four threes, two rebounds and two steals Sunday against Charlotte.
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has scored 15+ points in four of the last five games.
Insight: Ginobili has played just 20.5 minutes per game in six games since he returned from a hamstring strain, but he's still finding a way to produce fantasy-worthy numbers. Over his last three games, Ginobili has averaged 25.3 minutes, 15.3 points, 7.0 assists, 1.6 threes, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks.
Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker returned from a five-game absence to score 22 points with seven assists and three rebounds in 32 minutes Sunday night. Parker sat out to rest numerous injuries.
Insight: Parker missed seven of the last 10 games and only averaged 21.9 minutes, 8.0 points and 4.3 assists in the three games he did play during that span. Patty Mills excelled while Parker was injured but played just 16 minutes Sunday.
Description: Phoenix guard Eric Bledsoe (torn meniscus) has progressed to five-on-five scrimmaging, according to the Arizona Republic.
Insight: The 24-year-old Bledsoe averaged 18 points, 5.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in 24 games before undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus on Jan. 10. He'll increase his activity in scrimmages in the coming days.
Description: Bulls guard D.J. Augustin scored 23 points with four 3-pointers in 26 minutes Sunday against the Knicks.
Insight: Augustin put up just 6.5 ppg on 18.9 percent shooting his previous four games, but he has averaged 31 minutes, 14.1 points, 5.4 assists, 2.2 threes, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals his last 37 games.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill will miss a second straight game Sunday against Utah, according to Jazz PR man Jonathan Rinehart.
Insight: Hill was bumped by Ersan Ilyasova after a drive-and-kick and landed hard on his left arm in the fourth quarter Thursday. He's dealing with a bruised shoulder. C.J. Watson started Saturday but he isn't worth a roster spot, as the Pacers often use Lance Stephenson to handle the ball.
Description: Magic point guard Jameer Nelson will not play Sunday against the Sixers due to a sore calf, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Insight: Nelson has had a terrible run as of late, putting up double-digit points just once in his last 12 games while shooting 32.4 percent in that span. Ronnie Price, E'Twaun Moore and Victor Oladipo will handle the point in his absence.
Description: Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is active for Sunday's game against Golden State.
Insight: He rolled his ankle Thursday against Washington though we never expected him to miss any time. With Terrence Ross (sprained ankle) out, Lowry (16.9 ppg, 7.7 apg) and DeMar DeRozan (22.7 ppg) should both see a heavy workload on Sunday.
Description: Raptors shooting guard Terrence Ross (sprained ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game with the Warriors. SOURCE: Raptors Media Relations on Twitter
Insight: We figured as much after Ross was only able to use the stationary bike during yesterday's practice. John Salmons (5.6 ppg) is likely to start in his place though his fantasy impact should be minimal.
Description: The Bobcats waived guard Ben Gordon on Sunday. SOURCE: John Schuhmann, NBA.com
Insight: If Gordon had been released one day earlier, he would have been eligible to play in the postseason. Now he must either sign with a non-playoff team or wait until July when free agency begins. Gordon is only averaging 5.2 ppg and won't be a fantasy option even if he gets signed before the end of the season.
Description: In a surprise move, New York guard Iman Shumpert will return to the starting lineup Sunday against Chicago. SOURCE: Alan Hahn, ESPN New York
Insight: Shumpert missed five games with a sprained MCL. He could be on a minutes limit at first, which means fantasy owners may want to wait a few days before starting him. Shumpert's return will force J.R. Smith (12.9 ppg, 3.1 apg) back to his more familiar sixth man role.
Description: Brooklyn guard Deron Williams played through a right wrist injury Saturday in a win against Milwaukee. SOURCE: Tim Bontemps, New York Post
Insight: Williams (15 points, four assists) had an ice pack on his wrist after the game. It doesn't sound like he's going to miss any time but it wouldn't hurt to check on D-Will's status one more time before tipoff Monday against Chicago.
Description: Boston guard Rajon Rondo flirted with a triple-double Saturday versus the Pacers.
Insight: Rondo collected 12 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds in a season-high 38 minutes of court time. The Celtics point guard drilled three of his six three-point attempts in the contest. He's shooting a career-high 36.4 percent from that distance this season.
Description: Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving followed up his triple-double Friday with another strong outing Saturday at Memphis.
Insight: This one didn't have all the bells and whistles (only one rebound and three assists) but 28 points is still 28 points. Love him or hate him, you have to admit Irving (21.5 ppg) is one of the most explosive scorers in professional hoops. We'll see what he can put together Tuesday against the Spurs.
Description: Wolves guard Kevin Martin looked sharp in his return from a broken thumb Saturday against Sacramento.
Insight: Martin (26 points) couldn't find his three-point stroke (1-of-5) but he made eight of his 11 shots from inside the arc. He didn't seem to be on any kind of minutes restriction, logging 34 minutes in his return. Make sure Martin is in your lineup Monday versus the Nuggets.
Description: Washington guard John Wall matched a career-high with 16 assists Saturday against the Sixers.
Insight: Most of them went to Trevor Ariza, who finished with 40 points. Even though he only played 29 minutes (his fewest since December 2nd), Wall still managed 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting. The Wizards are now just a game and a half out of third place in the Eastern Conference.
Description: Former Kings guard Jimmer Fredette has signed with Chicago. SOURCE: Nick Friedell, ESPN Chicago
Insight: Fredette (5.9 ppg, 49.3 percent on three-pointers) cleared waivers on Saturday. It's unknown if he'll play Sunday against the Knicks. Even if he does, fantasy owners shouldn't expect much out of him.
Description: San Antonio point guard Tony Parker practiced Saturday and is expected to return to the court on Sunday.
Insight: Parker (17.7 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 6.2 apg) is being called a game-time decision, but he's going to play so make sure he's in your lineup. Patty Mills goes back to being a part-timer with limited fantasy value.
Description: Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha exited Friday's game with a left calf strain and already has been ruled out for Sunday's game.
Insight: Newly signed Caron Butler is an interesting fantasy target with Sefolosha missing time. Sefolosha has averaged 26.9 minutes 6.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals through 54 games this season. Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb also will see more playing time with Sefolosha out.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill injured his left shoulder Thursday against Milwaukee and won't play Saturday in Boston. SOURCE: David Benner, Pacers Media Relations
Insight: Hill was bumped by Ersan Ilyasova after a drive-and-kick and landed hard on his left arm in the fourth quarter. He did not return. Hill is often overlooked in the Pacers lineup, but he still averages 10.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 3.5 apg. C.J. Watson (6.3 ppg) will get the start in Hill's absence.
Description: Denver guard Wilson Chandler's knee sprain is not a serious, but he is not expected to play Saturday, according to a Denver Post report.

Description: Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings exited Wednesday's game with a sprained toe and is questionable for Saturday's game against Houston.
Insight: Jennings has put up excellent fantasy numbers this season (16.9 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 1.5 spg, two threes per contest), in addition to a career-high 7.9 apg and the Pistons will be hard-pressed to fill the void if he can't run. Will Bynum is the most likely candidate to try.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill sustained a left shoulder injury Thursday and is questionable for Saturday's game against Boston.
Insight: Hill was bumped by Ersan Ilyasova after a drive-and-kick and landed hard on his left arm in the fourth quarter. He did not return. Hill is often overlooked in the Pacers lineup, but averages 10.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.5 apg.
Description: Spurs guard Patty Mills had 14 points, six rebounds and two assists Friday against Charlotte and has averaged 17.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 threes his last 10 games.
Insight: Unfortunately, his fantasy value is about to take a hit when Tony Parker returns from resting various injuries. Parker has missed six of the last nine games and only played 19.3 minutes per game the last four games he played. Parker may be back Sunday, and when he returns the Spurs will have Parker, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green all healthy at the same time for the first time since Jan. 7.
Description: Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson nailed five treys and had 25 points Friday against the Knicks.
Insight: He did his damage in 29 minutes of play. It was his third straight game with less than 30 minutes. Thompson averaged 19.4 points and 3.0 threes his first 41 games, but even with Friday's results factored in he has averaged just 14.5 points and 2.1 triples his last 17 games.
Description: In his first game at Madison Square Garden since he exploded for 54 points almost a year ago to the day (Feb. 27, 2013), Warriors guard Stephen Curry had 27 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and five threes in just 30 minutes of action Friday against the Knicks.
Insight: Curry picked up his triple-double late in the third quarter and with the Warriors blowing out the Knicks didn't have to play much in the fourth. He had shot just 8-of-25 the last two games so it was good to see him put a quick stop to his cold streak.
Description: Thunder point guard Reggie Jackson played 34 minutes and had 14 points, three assists, two rebounds, two steals and two threes Friday against the Grizzlies.
Insight: Jackson averaged 31.5 minutes per game in Russell Westbrook's first three games back in the starting lineup, but put up just 8.0 points on 30 percent shooting. Thabo Sefolosha's calf strain should lead to a few extra minutes for Jackson, though newly signed Caron Butler may cut into his playing time once Sefolosha comes back.
Description: Phoenix guard Goran Dragic (ankle) will start Friday against the Pelicans.
Insight: Dragic twisted his ankle Tuesday and while he stayed in the game after the injury, his condition worsened overnight and he had to miss Wednesday's game. Ish Smith will move back to the bench after a couple of decent games.
Description: Pelicans swingman Tyreke Evans will start for the first time all season Friday against the Suns.
Insight: New Orleans paid Evans $44 million over four years last summer, but it has played him just 24.8 minutes per game this season. He's averaging 12 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
Description: Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha exited Friday's game with a left calf strain and will not return, according to Royce Young of dailythunder.com.
Insight: All of a sudden, the newly signed Caron Butler is an interesting fantasy target, especially if Sefolosha has to miss time. Sefolosha has averaged 26.9 minutes 6.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals through 54 games this season. Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb also will see more playing time with Sefolosha out.
Description: Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha exited Friday's game with an apparent foot injury.
Insight: Sefolosha has averaged 26.9 minutes 6.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals through 54 games this season, and the Thunder just acquired Caron Butler. Look for his fantasy value to fall even lower, especially with an injury.
Description: Bobcats guards Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour will play Friday night against the Spurs, according to Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.
Insight: Neal was traded from Milwaukee to Charlotte along with Luke Ridnour at the trade deadline and didn't play a minute in his first two games with the Bobcats. Neal and Ridnour will probably cancel each other out fantasy-wise.
Description: A Lakers spokesperson said Friday that he doesn't think Nick Young (knee) is "real close" to returning, according to Bill Oram of the Orange County Register.
Insight: Young (16.8 ppg) missed two weeks with a knee fracture before returning for a game, then missed the last two games. His scoring average is nice but because he contributes almost nothing else, Young isn't a must-own. His absence will be good for Kent Bazemore (17.3 ppg, 3.0 apg, 2.3 rpg, 2.0 spg last four games), Wesley Johnson, Jodie Meeks and Jordan Farmar.
Description: The Pelicans announced Friday that Jrue Holiday underwent a successful surgery to correct a stress fracture in his right tibia and will miss the rest of the season.
Insight: Holiday last played on Jan. 8 and will finish his first season with the Pelicans with averages of 14.3 points, 7.9 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals over 34 games. He made the All-Star team with the 76ers in 2012-13 before being traded for the rights to Nerlens Noel and a 2014 first-round pick.
Description: Denver coach Brain Shaw said the Nuggets trainer told him Wilson Chandler's knee sprain is not a serious injury and that doctors didn't see anything major. SOURCE: Denver Post
Insight: Chandler has averaged 31.1 minutes, 13.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 threes this season. He sat out Thursday, allowing Evan Fournier to start and play 44 minutes, and is without a timetable for his return.
Description: Caron Butler agreed to terms with the Thunder and will sign with them when he clears waivers on Saturday.
Insight: Butler has missed six of the last eight games with a sprained ankle but should be able to return soon. He'll take minutes away from Jeremy Lamb and Thabo Sefolosha, but not enough to be a fantasy option.
Description: Clippers guard Jamal Crawford is expected to miss 2-3 games with a minor left calf strain, according to espnlosangeles.com.
Insight: Prior to suffering the injury in Wednesday's game, Crawford had scored 19 or more points in 18 of his previous 19 games while averaging 24.2 ppg in that span. The team just signed Danny Granger and will need him and Darren Collison to fill in for Crawford.
Description: Boston guard Avery Bradley (ankle) will be reevaluated next week at some point, according to the Celtics on Twitter.
Insight: Bradley sprained his ankle twice the week prior to the All-Star break and will have missed nine of the last 10 games after sitting out Saturday. Coach Brad Stevens said Bradley will be checked out in the middle of next week or later, so he may also have to sit out next Wednesday and Friday too. Jerryd Bayless has averaged 19.3 ppg his last three games and should continue to see big minutes with both Bradley and Gerald Wallace out.
Description: Phoenix guard Goran Dragic (ankle) may be able to play Friday, but it will be a game-time decision, according to beat reporter Matt Petersen..
Insight: Dragic twisted his ankle Tuesday and while he stayed in the game after the injury, his condition worsened overnight and he had to miss Wednesday's game. As one of the last games on Friday's docket, that doesn't leave much wiggle room if he doesn't play.
Description: Los Angeles guard Steve Nash is doubtful for Friday's game against Sacramento.
Insight: Nash (7.6 ppg, 4.7 apg) has been battling back and nerve issues all season. With Nash likely out and Steve Blake gone, Kendall Marshall should be a viable option for fantasy owners, but has gone scoreless in his last two games. Avoid the point guards.
Description: San Antonio point guard Tony Parker will not play Friday, according to a San Antonio Express-News report.
Insight: Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said he should be ready to go on Sunday versus Dallas. Patty Mills had been putting up huge numbers (23.3 ppg, 51.8 pct from the field over three games) until the most recent two games in which he's struggled from the field (7-for-21).
Description: Toronto guard Greivis Vasquez had 26 points, eight assists, four threes and two steals in 39 minutes Thursday against the Wizards.
Insight: Vasquez saw extra playing time after Terrence Ross suffered an ankle sprain in the first half. Kyle Lowry also suffered an ankle injury at the end of regulation and gutted out three overtimes, so he may have to miss Sunday's game if his ankle swells. Vasquez should be added in most leagues just in case.
Description: Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan averaged 26.4 points, 5.0 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in February.
Insight: DeRozan wrapped up the month with 34 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals in 57 minutes during a triple-overtime loss to the Wizards Thursday. He hasn't made a 3-pointer since Feb. 12 but averaged 9.1 free-throw attempts per game in February while making 85.5 percent of them.
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry injured his right ankle on the final play of regulation Thursday but was able to play through overtime.
Insight: He landed on Marcin Gortat's foot after taking a floater that missed and appeared to be in significant pain on the floor. He wasn't moving very well during the overtime period but gutted out the extra time. He'll be able to rest the ankle until Sunday but may have to miss a game if it swells up.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill suffered a bruised left shoulder during Thursday's game and is day-to-day, according to the Pacers on Twitter.
Insight: Hill was bumped by Ersan Ilyasova after a drive-and-kick and landed hard on his left arm late in the fourth. He stayed down for a minute before being helped up and off the court. Indiana's next game is Saturday at Boston.
Description: Evan Fournier will start at small forward for the Nuggets on Thursday in place of Wilson Chandler, who is out with a sprained knee. SOURCE: Chris Dempsey, Denver Post
Insight: Denver's numerous injuries have allowed Fournier to get 23.7 minutes per game since Jan. 3, and he has averaged 11.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 threes in his last 25 games. Quincy Miller also should see extra playing time, but Fournier is the guy to add. Chandler will probably miss at least a few games.
Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross will not return to Thursday's game due to a sprained left ankle, the team announced.
Insight: After exploding for 51 points on Jan. 25, Ross has returned to his normal production with 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 threes over his last 14 games, but he had 11 points in the first half Thursday. John Salmons started the second half in his place.
Description: Raptors guard Terrence Ross went to the locker room during Thursday's game with an ankle injury.
Insight: Ross rolled his ankle and is questionable to return. After exploding for 51 points on Jan. 25, Ross has returned to his normal production with 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 threes over his last 14 games.
Description: The Bucks completed their buyout of Caron Butler's contract on Wednesday, according to Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Insight: Butler has missed six of the last eight games with a sprained ankle. Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo and O.J. Mayo will see more minutes now that Butler is gone. He's expected to sign with the Heat or Thunder and wouldn't have fantasy value with either team.
Description: Clippers guard Jamal Crawford (calf) is questionable for Saturday's game, according to the Orange County Register. Crawford suffered a mild left calf strain in the first half Wednesday and didn't return in the second.
Insight: Coach Doc Rivers admitted he was concerned because it was a non-contact injury, but Crawford avoided the worst. Prior to Wednesday's game, Crawford had scored 19 or more points in 18 of his previous 19 games while averaging 24.2 ppg in that span. His injury may cause the Clippers to hasten their signing of Danny Granger.
Description: Jimmer Fredette's buyout with the Kings is official, according to nba.com.
Insight: The Kings took Fredette 10th overall in 2011 and proceeded to play him 15 minutes per game the next two and a half seasons. He has averaged an impressive 16.8 points and 2.5 threes per 36 minutes in his career and may be able to establish some fantasy value as a 3-point gunner if he lands with the right organization.
Description: Iman Shumpert (MCL sprain) is still without a timetable for his return, according to Al Iannazzone of Newsday.
Insight: Shumpert is with the team in Miami Thursday and has been running and jumping, but he isn't cutting or taking contact yet. J.R. Smith and Tim Hardaway Jr. have been absorbing Shumpert's minutes, and the Knicks also signed Shannon Brown and Earl Clark to 10-day contracts Thursday.
Description: Phoenix guard Goran Dragic (ankle) may be able to play Friday, according to azcentral.com.
Insight: Dragic twisted his ankle Tuesday and while he stayed in the game after the injury, his condition worsened overnight and he had to miss Wednesday's game. "He wanted to try but it makes sense to keep him out," coach Jeff Hornacek said before Wednesday's game. "It's pretty sore and swollen so he'll stay out tonight and maybe we can get him back for Friday. He comes back pretty fast. Obviously, with a great training staff, Goran is a tough kid so he'll play. It probably won't be 100 percent but he'll still play."
Description: Denver small forward Wilson Chandler will miss Thursday's game with a sprained right knee, according to Aaron J. Lopez of nuggets.com.
Insight: Chandler has averaged 31.1 minutes, 13.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 threes this season. The Nuggets recently traded Jordan Hamilton to the Rockets, so Quincy Miller looks like the most likely guy to take over Chandler's minutes, with Evan Fournier, Anthony Randolph and Jan Vesely also picking up extra time.
Description: Pistons guard Will Bynum took over at point guard after Brandon Jennings left with a toe injury Wednesday against the Spurs and finished with 18 points and nine assists in 31 minutes.
Insight: Jennings only played 13 minutes and didn't score. His absence also allowed Rodney Stuckey to get 31 minutes, and Stuckey put up 17 points and four assists. The Pistons don't play again until Saturday so Jennings might not have to miss a game.
Description: Lakers point guard Jordan Farmar had 16 points, four threes, three assists, two steals and one block in just 24 minutes Wednesday at Memphis.
Insight: The Lakers are still taking it easy with Farmar after he missed a good portion of December, January and February with hamstring injuries. However, he may be in line for more minutes after Kendall Marshall went 3-of-19 from the field combined the last four games (0-9 the last two).
Description: Los Angeles G/F Wesley Johnson had 18 points, five rebounds, two assists, four blocks and four threes in 38 minutes Wednesday at Memphis.
Insight: There aren't many players in the NBA averaging 1.0 blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.0 threes per game, and Johnson is one of them. He has played 34.4 minutes per game in February and averaged 13.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 threes, 1.4 blocks and 1.1 steals during the month.
Description: Cavaliers guard Jarrett Jack had 21 points, four assists, three rebounds, three steals and one steal in 39 minutes Wednesday at OKC.
Insight: With Dion Waiters and C.J. Miles out of the lineup, Jack started for the 13th consecutive game Wednesday. However, prior to Wednesday he had failed to take advantage of his opportunity and averaged just 6.8 ppg on 37 percent shooting.
Description: Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook had easily his best game since returning from his knee injury Wednesday against the Cavaliers.
Insight: Westbrook shot just 6-of-24 in the first two games but made 8-of-17 from the field, 5-of-5 from the foul line and 3-of-6 from 3-point range for 24 points with nine assists and three rebounds Wednesday. However, the Thunder dropped to 0-3 since he returned, with all three losses coming at home.
Description: After playing 45 minutes and scoring 25 points with nine assists Tuesday against Toronto, Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving was on the court for 43 minutes Wednesday and had 31 points, nine assists, five rebounds, four steals and four triples.
Insight: Irving has played 38 or more minutes in each of the last five games after getting just 24 on Feb. 18 in a blowout win at Philadelphia.
Description: Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings exited Wednesday's game with a sore toe and is questionable to return, according to Vincent Goodwill of the Detroit News.
Insight: Detroit is down double digits to the Spurs on the road late in the third quarter, so it wouldn't surprise us if the Pistons just held out Jennings for the rest of the game. Will Bynum and Rodney Stuckey will handle point guard duties in his absence.
Description: Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo had a season-high 22 points to go with 11 assists and three steals in 36 minutes Wednesday against the Hawks.
Insight: Rondo irked team officials when he stayed behind in Los Angeles on Saturday for his birthday celebration while the team traveled to Sacramento. The point guard wasn't going to play anyway Saturday because it was a back-to-back, but he may face a fine. There hasn't been anything wrong with his play this month, however, as he has averaged 15.3 points, 9.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
Description: Magic point guard Jameer Nelson ended a 10-game streak with single-digit points Wednesday against the Sixers with 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting and added 12 assists and six rebounds.
Insight: Nelson hadn't scored in double figures since Jan. 29 and had averaged just 7.3 points and 7.5 assists while shooting 31.6 percent from the field in February. He also has been playing through a sinus infection. We'll see how he does against a competent defense Saturday at Miami.
Description: Phoenix guard Goran Dragic (ankle) is officially out Wednesday against the Jazz, according to Aaron Falk of the Salt Lake Tribune.
Insight: Dragic was able to stay in the game after twisting his ankle Tuesday, but his condition worsened overnight. The Suns will need to get huge minutes out of Ish Smith, as Leandro Barbosa (toe) will also miss the game.
Description: Sixers guard Tony Wroten will come off the bench Wednesday night, according to beat writer Tom Moore. Philadelphia will start James Anderson in his place.
Insight: The move won't change Wroten's fantasy value. With Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes gone, the 76ers have plenty of minutes to fill and Wroten is one of the only competent players they have. He has averaged 25.6 minutes, 15.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists his last 10 games.
Description: San Antonio point guard Tony Parker will not play Wednesday, according to Paul Garcia of projectspurs.com.
Insight: The Spurs have been very vague about Parker's injury and at this point it's unclear when he might be back. Patty Mills is coming off a 2-of-14 shooting performance but has averaged 23 minutes, 18.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.0 threes and and 1.0 steals his last eight games. Cory Joseph also has been seeing significant playing time but hasn't been as successful as Mills.
Description: Boston coach Brad Stevens said Avery Bradley (ankle) is doing "much better" but still out through Saturday, according to beat writer Scott Souza.
Insight: Bradley sprained his ankle twice the week prior to the All-Star break and will have missed nine of the last 10 games after sitting out Wednesday and Saturday. Jerryd Bayless will start Wednesday, with Gerald Wallace moving to the bench.
Description: Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo did not travel to Philadelphia for Wednesday's game, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
Insight: He'll miss his third straight game with a sprained ankle. Moe Harkless has started the last two in his place and had 22 points in 38 minutes Tuesday. Harkless has a great matchup against the fast-paced but lowly 76ers on Wednesday.
Description: Phoenix guard Leandro Barbosa (toe) will sit out Wednesday, according to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic.
Insight: He's dealing with a sprained big toe and will miss his third straight game. Barbosa's ownership across all fantasy formats is virtually nil. He has averaged 19.1 minutes, 7.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 18 games and hasn't been a fantasy option for several seasons.
Description: Phoenix guard Goran Dragic (ankle) is unlikely to play Wednesday, according to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic.
Insight: Dragic was able to stay in the game after twisting his ankle Tuesday, but his condition worsened overnight. The Suns will need to get huge minutes out of Ish Smith if Dragic is out, as Leandro Barbosa (toe) will also miss the game.
Description: Spurs guard Danny Green has been cleared to play without a brace on his left hand, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
Insight: Green returned from a fractured left hand on Feb. 3 and has averaged 32.5 minutes, 11.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.1 threes since then. Kawhi Leonard's return from his own broken hand on Wednesday will cut into Green's playing time.
Description: Nets shooting guard Marcus Thornton (food poisoning) will make his Nets debut Wednesday, according to Rod Boone of Newsday.
Insight: Brooklyn acquired Thornton (8.3 ppg) from the Kings last week for Reggie Evans and Jason Terry, but the illness has prevented him from making his debut with the team. He was playing just 24.4 mpg with Sacramento and is unlikely to even get that with the Nets.
Description: Brooklyn guard Shaun Livingston will start Wednesday's game against Portland. He sat out Sunday because of a back/tailbone injury. SOURCE: Rod Boone, Newsday
Insight: Livingston's return will likely bump Andrei Kirilenko out of the starting lineup. Though Livingston has definitely given the Nets a boost with his play this season, his fantasy contributions have been minimal (7.7 ppg, 3.1 apg, 3.2 rpg).
Description: According to ESPN's SportsCenter, Knicks guard Ray Felton will play Thursday against the Heat. Felton was arrested on gun charges earlier this week.
Insight: When asked about his decision, head coach Mike Woodson said, "Bottom line Ray is part of our team." Felton, who was back at practice on Wednesday, is expected to make a statement regarding his arrest later today.
Description: Phoenix guard Goran Dragic twisted his ankle Tuesday in a loss to Minnesota.
Insight: Dragic (16 points in 25 minutes) stayed in the game until he picked up his sixth foul. Often times with ankle injuries, the swelling happens overnight. For that reason, fantasy owners should consider Dragic questionable for tonight's game in Utah.
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard would not be denied Tuesday in a 100-95 victory over Denver.
Insight: With LaMarcus Aldridge sidelined, Lillard (31 points, seven rebounds, nine assists) has been forced to play a much bigger role on offense for Portland. Over his last four games, the 23-year-old has averaged 30.5 ppg on 50 percent shooting. He's spread out 27 assists during that same span (6.8 apg).
Description: Houston shooting guard James Harden delivered a season-high 43 points Tuesday in a win at Sacramento.
Insight: Harden probably could have put up 50 if he had played the fourth quarter. As usual, the bearded one made his living at the line, drilling 15-of-16 from the charity stripe. He was also incredibly effective from deep, knocking in six of his nine three-point attempts. Harden has averaged 33.5 ppg in four games since the All-Star break.
Description: Chicago G/F Mike Dunleavy played the whole game Tuesday against Atlanta.
Insight: Dunleavy took advantage of the extra minutes by posting 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Fifteen of his 22 points came in the first half. Dunleavy could see another extra-heavy workload Wednesday against the Warriors if Jimmy Butler (sore ribs) misses another game.
Description: Hawks guard Jeff Teague wasn't holding anything back Tuesday in a loss to Chicago.
Insight: Teague recorded a game-high 26 points on 10-of-20 shooting. He was particularly effective from three-point range, making three of his four attempts from that distance. The seven assists Teague produced were his most since February 5th.
Description: Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving played almost the whole game Tuesday against the Raptors.
Insight: Irving produced 25 points, nine assists, four rebounds and two steals while logging an exhausting 45 minutes of court time. Tuesday marked Irving's highest scoring output since February 9th against the Grizzlies (28 points on 9-of-17 shooting).
Description: DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 33 points Tuesday in a win over Cleveland.
Insight: Sixteen of DeRozan's 33 points came in the fourth quarter. DeRozan still hasn't made a three-pointer since the All-Star break (0-for-10) though it's tough to complain when he's averaging 25.7 ppg for the month of February.
Description: After hitting 13-of-22 from 3-point range in a three-game span earlier this month, Wizards guard Bradley Beal has made just four of his last 15 from downtown.
Insight: Beal is clearly not confident in his long-distance shot right now, as he attempted just two total shots from behind the arc in his last two games after going 0-of-5 on Feb. 22. However, he had 21 points Tuesday and averaged 17 ppg his last four. Beal has made up for his lack of threes at the foul line, making 17-of-21 from the stripe the last five games.
Description: Lakers guard Kent Bazemore has averaged 18.3 ppg, 2.7 apg, 2.3 rpg and 2.3 spg in three games since joining Los Angeles from Golden State.
Insight: Bazemore has played 101 minutes in his three games with the Lakers after seeing just 269 minutes in 44 games with the Warriors. He has set a new career high in points in each of his first three games with the team and had 23 Tuesday against the Pacers. He'll get at least one more game with Nick Young out of the lineup, and when Young returns he'll split the swingman minutes four ways with Jodie Meeks, Wesley Johnson and Young.
Description: Evan Turner had 13 points, six rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes in his Pacers debut Tuesday against the Lakers.
Insight: Indiana acquired the 25-year-old Turner from the Sixers after he averaged 34.9 minutes, 17.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 3.7 apg. He won't play more than 20-23 minutes most nights and only saw 26 Tuesday because the Pacers had a huge lead entering the fourth quarter. All five starters played under their season average in minutes, including Paul George with 28 (averages 36) and Lance Stephenson with 33 (averages 35.5).
Description: Phoenix guard Leandro Barbosa (toe) has been ruled out Tuesday versus Minnesota, according to Alan Horton of timberwolves.com.
Insight: He's dealing with a sprained big toe and will miss his second straight game. Barbosa's ownership across all fantasy formats is virtually nil. He has averaged 19.1 minutes, 7.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 18 games this season and hasn't been a fantasy option for several seasons.
Description: The Bucks are discussing a buyout of Caron Butler's contract, according to Gery Woelfel of journaltimes.com.
Insight: Butler has missed six of the last eight games with a sprained ankle. He has averaged 24 mpg, 13.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg and 2.0 3pg the last 10 games he played. If he's bought out, it would mean more minutes for Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo and O.J. Mayo.
Description: Pacers G/F Evan Turner will be available Tuesday, according to Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star.
Insight: Turner hasn't made his debut with Indiana yet after coming over from the Sixers. The 25-year-old averaged 17.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 3.7 apg with Philadelphia but played 34.9 mpg. He'll only get around 20-25 minutes per game with Indiana and his low shooting percentage won't allow him to be a fantasy option in that limited amount of time.
Description: Jimmer Fredette is close to being bought out by the Kings. SOURCE: Brian Windhorst, ESPN
Insight: Fredette's two and a half year tenure in Sacramento didn't produce many highlights and it will be interesting to see who goes after him in free agency. The Knicks could be a possibility, especially now that Raymond Felton is facing gun charges. Fredette has averaged 5.9 ppg this season while shooting 49.3 percent from three-point range.
Description: According to ESPN's SportsCenter, Raymond Felton's bond has been set at $25,000. The New York guard was arrested early Tuesday morning for allegedly threatening his wife with a gun.
Insight: It's anyone's guess whether Felton will be able to play Thursday against Miami. This messy situation is far from being resolved. Pablo Prigioni would start at point guard Thursday if Felton is suspended or restricted from leaving the state.
Description: According to the Boston Herald, Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo did not have permission to leave the team for his birthday celebration in Los Angeles this past weekend.
Insight: Rondo hasn't been playing back-to-backs so he was never going to play Saturday against the Kings. The fact that he stayed behind in Los Angeles and didn't at least cheer his teammates on from the bench in Sacramento has rubbed some people the wrong way. We'll see if this results in a fine or any other type of discipline for Rondo.
Description: Cavs guard Dion Waiters (knee) is unlikely to travel to Oklahoma City for Wednesday's game, according to beat writer Rick Noland.
Insight: Waiters did some shooting Monday, but with his knee wrapped up and there is no timetable for his return. He'll definitely miss Tuesday's game and most likely won't play Wednesday, making it at least five games he'll have missed with a hyperextended knee.
Description: Bulls guard Jimmy Butler (bruised ribs) is unlikely to play Tuesday, according to Sam Smith of bulls.com.
Insight: Butler suffered bruised ribs Friday. He warmed up Sunday in an attempt to play but wasn't able to give it a go. Butler plays big minutes when healthy (almost 37 mpg) and Tony Snell got most of those minutes the past two games, but was inconsistent scoring six and 20 points.
Description: As expected, Los Angeles swingman Nick Young (knee) will miss the next two games, according to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News.
Insight: Young (16.8 ppg) played 20 minutes and had 10 points in his return from a knee fracture Sunday against the Nets. His scoring average is nice but because he contributes almost nothing else, Young isn't a must-own.
Description: Phoenix guard Eric Bledsoe (torn meniscus) felt no soreness in his knee after practicing Monday, according to Matt Petersen of suns.com.
Insight: Bledsoe practiced hard Monday and will continue to increase the intensity of his workouts barring a setback. The 24-year-old averaged 18 points, 5.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in 24 games before undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus nearly two months ago. His return will lessen the fantasy value of Goran Dragic, who has put up 22.4 ppg, 6.6 apg and 4.1 rpg since Bledsoe's injury compared to 18.4 ppg, 5.9 apg, 2.9 rpg with Bledsoe in the lineup.
Description: Knicks point guard Raymond Felton was arrested on felony gun charges Tuesday after allegedly pointing a gun at his wife, according to espn.com. Police said Felton was in possession of a gun he wasn't registered to own.
Insight: The NBA will hold off on disciplining Felton for now, but his status for Thursday's game at Miami is up in the air. The 29-year-old point guard has had a miserable season, dealing with numerous injuries and averaging just 10.4 points, 6.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game.
Description: Nets guard Shaun Livingston (bruised tailbone) will be a game-time decision Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.
Insight: Livingston missed his first game of the season Sunday night. He has averaged just 24 minutes, 5.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists his last seven games and the Nets just acquired Marcus Thornton, so there's no reason to hold Livingston in fantasy leagues.
Description: Bulls guard Jimmy Butler (bruised ribs) did not play Sunday against the Heat and is questionable for Tuesday's game against Atlanta.
Insight: Butler suffered the injury Friday. He warmed up Sunday in an attempt to play but wasn't able to give it a go so we know he's close. He'll be a game-time decision. Butler plays big minutes when healthy (almost 37 mpg) and Tony Snell got most of those minutes the past two games, but was inconsistent scoring six and 20 points.
Description: Los Angeles point guard Chris Paul produced another strong outing Monday against New Orleans.
Insight: Paul collected 19 points to go with 13 assists, four rebounds and two steals. He's gone 14-for-14 from the free throw line over his last two games. The Clippers only get one night off before hosting Houston at the Staples Center on Wednesday.
Description: Warriors guard Steph Curry almost had his third triple-double of the season Monday against the Pistons.
Insight: He netted 19 points to go along with eight rebounds and nine assists. Curry has drilled at least three three-pointers in each of his last three games. He'll try and make it four in a row Wednesday against Chicago.
Description: Bucks guard O.J. Mayo notched 25 points in Monday's win against the Sixers.
Insight: Mayo drained seven out of nine from three-point range. This marks his first 20-point outing since January 4th. Mayo should see lots of playing time while Caron Butler is out with an ankle sprain.
Description: Milwaukee G/F Caron Butler won't be in the lineup Monday versus Philadelphia. SOURCE: C.F. Gardner, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Insight: It's a recurrence of the high ankle sprain Butler suffered earlier this month. He also missed Saturday's game so fantasy owners should have seen this one coming. Nate Wolters (6.9 ppg, 3.5 apg) will grab another start at shooting guard for the lottery-bound Bucks.
Description: Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo did not play Saturday night but is probable for Monday's game against Utah.
Insight: Rondo is off his minutes restriction and has averaged 13.7 points, 9.7 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals in six February games, but still misses a game when the team plays on back-to-back nights.
Description: Pistons guard Chauncey Billups is out indefinitely after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee last week.
Insight: The 37-year-old Billups will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks and may not return this season. He wasn't helping fantasy owners at his current production level (3.8 ppg, 1.5 rpg, 2.2 apg) so this won't change much.
Description: Bucks shooting guard Nate Wolters is probable after playing just 19 minutes Saturdat night due to a sprained ankle.
Insight: Wolters has played 40 minutes in back-to-back games, but the addition of Ramon Sessions could eat into that total the rest of the way. Before playing half of Saturday's game he had averaged a solid 13.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 5.2 apg over his last five contests.
Description: Randy Foye wasn't the only Denver guard doing work on Sunday. Evan Fournier matched Foye's 27 points while adding four rebounds and five assists.
Insight: Ty Lawson's rib injury has allowed Fournier to play more minutes than he normally would. Fantasy owners should enjoy Fournier's scoring binge (16.2 ppg in his last five contests) while it lasts.
Description: Kings point guard Isaiah Thomas generated a team-high 33 points on 12-of-16 shooting Sunday in a win against the Nuggets.
Insight: Thomas is on a roll. Over his last four games, the 25-year-old has put up 25 ppg on 53.2 percent shooting (33-for-62). He's added 8.0 apg during that stretch. Fantasy owners should definitely be starting Thomas Tuesday against Houston.
Description: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry was terrific in Sunday's win against the Magic.
Insight: Lowry made a killing from deep, draining four of his five attempts from beyond the arc. Overall, Lowry shot 7-for-13 from the field for 28 points. He also contributed four rebounds and six assists.
Description: The Magic won't have shooting guard Arron Afflalo for Tuesday's game against Washington. SOURCE: Josh Robbins, Orlando Sentinel
Insight: He's been ruled out with a sprained ankle. Victor Oladipo (13.8 ppg, 4.1 apg, 4.4 rpg) figures to get more playing time with Afflalo sidelined. Not that he hasn't been playing a lot already - Oladipo saw 49 minutes of action Friday against New York.
Description: Nets guard Shaun Livingston will miss Sunday's game in Los Angeles. He's out with a tailbone injury. SOURCE: Rod Boone, Newsday
Insight: Livingston was limited to 12 minutes in Saturday's loss to Golden State and will have to miss his first game of the season on Sunday night. Look for Andrei Kirilenko (5.5 ppg) to get the start in Livingston's place.
Description: Lakers guard Kent Bazemore will make his first start Sunday against Brooklyn. SOURCE: Mike Trudell, Lakers.com
Insight: That was fast. Bazemore joined the Lakers on Friday and only needed one game to impress head coach Mike D'Antoni. For fantasy owners, it's way too early to consider Bazemore an option. Though he did score 15 points against Boston, Bazemore has only averaged 2.3 ppg in 45 career games. We'll see what he can accomplish Sunday versus the Nets.
Description: Los Angeles guard Chris Paul just missed out on a triple-double Sunday against Oklahoma City.
Insight: Paul finished with 18 points, 12 assists and eight boards as the Clippers held on for an eight-point win. The sprained thumb Paul suffered Friday versus Memphis didn't seem to be an issue. Look for Paul to have another big outing Monday against the Pelicans.
Description: Magic coach Jacque Vaughn didn't rule out shooting guard Arron Afflalo (ankle) joining the team in Washington on Tuesday or Washington on Wednesday, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
Insight: Afflalo suffered a sprained right ankle Friday night and will sit out Sunday at Toronto, allowing Moe Harkless to get a start. The injury comes at a terrible time for Afflalo, as he went off for 25.3 ppg over his last three games following a 21-game stretch in which he put up just 15.8 ppg.
Description: Clippers guard Jamal Crawford's tear continued as he scored 36 points Sunday at Oklahoma City.
Insight: That makes seven straight games with at least 21 points for Crawford, who has averaged 25.3 ppg in February. He'll continue to start at shooting guard for another few weeks with J.J. Redick sidelined.
Description: Bulls guard Jimmy Butler (bruised ribs) will not play Sunday against the Heat, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.
Insight: Butler suffered the injury Friday and was done for the night. He warmed up Sunday in an attempt to play but wasn't able to give it a go. Butler plays big minutes when healthy (almost 37 mpg) and Tony Snell will get a lot of those minutes Sunday.
Description: Brooklyn guard Shaun Livingston is questionable for Sunday's game with a bruised tailbone, according to Andrew Keh of the New York Times.
Insight: Livingston's X-rays came back negative, but he didn't sound optimistic that he'll be able to play. He hasn't been providing fantasy-worthy numbers anyway with averages of 5.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists his last seven games.
Description: Nets point guard Deron Williams has averaged 19.5 points and 6.5 rebounds his last two games.
Insight: After sitting out nearly three full weeks to rest his injured ankles (following a PRP and cortisone injection), Williams has averaged just 13.6 points and 6.2 assists in 32.6 minutes per game over 15 games since he returned to the lineup. His shooting is still an issue, as he made just 41.9 percent from the field and 31.7 percent from 3-point range in that span. After having the PRP treatment in his ankles last season, Williams averaged 22.9 points, 8.0 assists and 2.8 threes while shooting .481/.420/.866 in his final 28 games, but it hasn't worked as well this season.
Description: Bucks guard Brandon Knight returned from a heel laceration to score 30 points with eight assists, five rebounds and three triples Saturday against the Pacers.
Insight: Knight played 39 minutes Saturday after sitting out Thursday. In his last 30 games, the 22-year-old has put up 20.2 points, 5.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 1.9 threes and 1.1 steals per game. His numbers are very similar to the man he was traded for, Brandon Jennings, but he's making nearly $4 million less than the Pistons guard this season.
Description: Indiana point guard George Hill had zero points in 31 minutes Saturday at Milwaukee.
Insight: The emergence of Lance Stephenson as the team's primary ballhandler has turned Hill into a spare part. The 27-year-old put up 14.2 points, 4.7 assists and 1.7 threes per game last season but has averaged just 10.9 points, 3.5 assists and 1.4 threes this season.
Description: Pacers All-Star forward Paul George has compiled 93 points in his first three games after the All-Star break (31 ppg), including 32 Saturday against Milwaukee.
Insight: George has made 50 percent of his field goals and 57 percent of his threes in that stretch. He went into the All-Star break having put up 20.1 ppg on 39.2 percent shooting his previous 23 contests.
Description: Nets guard Marcus Thornton has a stomach bug and will not play Saturday, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.
Insight: Thornton hasn't made his debut with Brooklyn yet after being traded from Sacramento on Wednesday. He averaged just 24.4 mpg and 8.3 ppg on 38.1 percent shooting with the Kings and won't see more playing time with the Nets.
Description: Pelicans swingman Tyreke Evans has scored eight points or less in five of his last seven games.
Insight: Evans had eight points, seven rebounds and seven assists Saturday against the Wizards and has averaged 22.4 minutes, 10.4 points on 36.4 percent shooting, 4.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 steals his last 18 games.
Description: New Orleans shooting guard Eric Gordon has made less than 40 percent of his shots over his last 17 games.
Insight: Gordon was averaging 16.5 points on 45.1 percent shooting after dropping 35 points on Houston on Jan. 15, but he has averaged just 14.5 ppg his last 17 after scoring 10 points on 3-of-10 shooting Saturday at Washington.
Description: With Jeff Teague (ankle) back in the starting lineup Saturday Shelvin Mack was expected to move to the bench, but he started again, this time at shooting guard.
Insight: Paul Millsap's absence due to a knee contusion opened up a spot in the starting lineup, allowing Mack to stay in after putting up 21 points, six assists and four rebounds Friday. Mike Scott initially was announced as Millsap's replacement, but the Hawks changed their starting lineup to Teague, Mack, Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll and Elton Brand.
Description: Ramon Sessions will make his Bucks debut Saturday, according to the Bucks on Twitter.
Insight: As will Jeff Adrien. Milwaukee picked up both players from Charlotte Thursday for Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour. Sessions will join Nate Wolters as backups to Brandon Knight once Knight (heel) is healthy.
Description: Atlanta point guard Jeff Teague (ankle) will play Saturday against the Knicks, according to beat writer Chris Vivlamore.
Insight: Teague missed Friday's game with an ankle sprain, his second sprain in the past month. Shelvin Mack came up with 21 points, six assists and four rebounds in 38 minutes Friday but will move back to the bench.
Description: The ankle sprain that kept Atlanta point guard Jeff Teague out of Friday's game didn't appear to bother him Saturday. He had 28 points and six assists while getting to the foul line 15 times against the Knicks.
Insight: Teague played 37 minutes and made 13-of-15 from the charity stripe. He has sprained his ankle twice in the last month but made a quick recovery both times.
Description: Atlanta point guard Jeff Teague (ankle) is planning to start Saturday against the Knicks, according to the Hawks on Twitter.
Insight: Teague missed Friday's game with an ankle sprain, his second in the past month. Shelvin Mack came up with 21 points, six assists and four rebounds in 38 minutes Friday but would move back to the bench if Teague plays.
Description: Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo (ankle) didn't make the trip to Toronto for Sunday's game, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
Insight: Afflalo suffered a sprained right ankle Friday night. The injury comes at a terrible time, as he went off for 25.3 ppg over his last three games following a 21-game stretch in which he put up just 15.8 ppg. His absence will open up more playing time for Moe Harkless.
Description: Houston guard James Harden practiced Saturday after suffering a hyperextended right elbow Thursday. SOURCE: Jason Friedman, rockets.com
Insight: Harden's chances of playing Sunday didn't look good Thursday when he was dealing with throbbing pain and couldn't dribble with his right hand. However, he should be able to go against the Suns after practicing Saturday. He shoots with his left hand so he should be able to put up his usual offensive numbers.
Description: The Knicks are in the process of completing buyouts with point guard Beno Udrih and forward Metta World Peace.
Insight: World Peace has dealt with knee issues all season and won't be a fantasy option no matter where he lands. Despite an abysmal point guard situation in New York, Udrih has played just 19 mpg in 31 games this season, but he had a nice run of fantasy relevance last April, averaging 37.5 minutes, 14.3 points, 8.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds in his last nine games for the Magic. There's no need to own him at this time, however.
Description: Nets guard Marcus Thornton has food poisoning and will be a game-time decision Saturday against Golden State, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.
Insight: Thornton hasn't made his debut with Brooklyn yet after being traded from Sacramento on Wednesday. He averaged just 24.4 mpg and 8.3 ppg on 38.1 percent shooting with the Kings and won't see more playing time with the Nets.
Description: Cavs guard Dion Waiters (knee) will miss his third straight game Sunday, according to beat writer Bob Finnan.
Insight: The Cavs will be without both C.J. Miles and Waiters again, leaving Jarrett Jack to get most of the shooting guard minutes. Jack played 41 minutes Friday night, but shot 3-of-9 and had nine points. Jack has had a subpar season and isn't worth a roster spot in fantasy leagues.
Description: Cavs shooting guard C.J. Miles (ankle) will not play Sunday, according to beat writer Bob Finnan.
Insight: Miles (10.1 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.0 apg) suffered an ankle sprain Wednesday and sat out Friday. He doesn't have structural damage so he shouldn't be out long, but he just isn't doing enough for fantasy owners to hold onto him.
Description: Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will not play Saturday night against Sacramento.
Insight: Rondo is off his minutes restriction and has averaged 13.7 points, 9.7 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals in six February games, but he is still being kept under wraps. Perhaps in hopes of a better draft position in June.
Description: Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin (broken thumb) said he'll be reevaluated next Monday in Los Angeles which means he won't play Saturday night.
Insight: Chase Budinger will continue to start in Martin's place while Martin recovers from his fractured left thumb. Alexey Shved, J.J. Barea and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute may see additional minutes as well.
Description: Los Angeles guard Chris Paul sprained his right thumb in Friday's game against Memphis.
Insight: Paul could end up missing a few games because of the injury. If true Darren Collison will pick up his minutes and be a viable fantasy option. He's averaging 13.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 6.3 apg when starting for Paul this season.
Description: Bulls guard Jimmy Butler is doubtful for Sunday's game against Miami due to bruised ribs.
Insight: Butler injured it Friday and was done for the night. Butler plays big minutes when healthy (almost 37 mpg) and Tony Snell will get a lot of those minutes if Butler can't go. He put up 20 points on Friday.
Description: Hawks backup PG Shelvin Mack started Friday with Jeff Teague sitting and came up big for the Hawks and fantasy owners who took a gamble on him.
Insight: Mack posted 21 points four rebounds and six assists as his replacement and should be the PG to have on Saturday. Teague has now suffered two ankle sprains in the span of a month. It's possible if Mack continues to play at this level the change could be permanent.
Description: Los Angeles guard Chris Paul contributed 18 points, six boards and 14 assists in Friday night's loss to Memphis.
Insight: Paul only committed one turnover in his 39 minutes of court time. He didn't shoot the ball particularly well (4-for-13) but at least he made most of his free throws (9-of-11). Paul and the Clippers will be back in action Sunday against the Thunder.
Description: Magic shooting guard Victor Oladipo had one of his best games Friday against the Knicks.
Insight: Oladipo (30 points, 14 assists, nine rebounds) was within one rebound of his second career triple-double. This comes on the heels of an awful game Wednesday against Cleveland (four points on 2-of-6 shooting). Oladipo (49 minutes) obviously benefited from the two overtime periods so fantasy owners should temper their expectations.
Description: San Antonio shooting guard Manu Ginobili is available off the bench for Friday's game against Phoenix. He had been a game-time decision.
Insight: His minutes will be limited according to Robert Baum of the Associated Press. It's tough to own any Spurs in fantasy because of Gregg Popovich's unpredictability. The 36-year-old Ginobili (12.1 ppg, 4.4 apg) is no exception in that regard.
Description: Charlotte swingman Chris Douglas-Roberts needed six stitches above his eye Friday against the Pelicans. SOURCE: Bobcats PR on Twitter
Insight: He's already back out there so fantasy owners have no need to panic. Not that you'd be playing Douglas-Roberts (4.5 ppg) anyway. Right now he's owned in fewer than one percent of fantasy leagues.
Description: San Antonio point guard Tony Parker remains out for Friday's game against Phoenix. SOURCE: Mike Monroe, San Antonio Express-News
Insight: The Spurs have been very vague about Parker's injury and at this point it's unclear when he might be back. Patty Mills (10.0 ppg) and Cory Joseph (5.0 ppg) will split minutes at point guard while Parker rests.
Description: Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson will miss his fifth game in a row Friday against Chicago. SOURCE: Chris Dempsey, Denver Post
Insight: Lawson (18.0 ppg, 8.8 apg) broke one of his ribs earlier this month. It sounds like he's doing better and could play sometime in the near future. Sunday against Sacramento could be a possibility.
Description: Cavs shooting guard C.J. Miles injured his left ankle late in Wednesday's win against the Magic and will miss Friday's game against Toronto.
Insight: Miles (10.1 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.0 apg) injury didn't produce any structural damage, but he'll miss at least Friday. Dion Waiters will also miss the contest leaving extra minutes for Jarrett Jack and Luol Deng.
Description: Pacers G/F Evan Turner and big man Lavoy Allen will not play in Saturday's game with Milwaukee, according to beat reporter Candace Buckner
Insight: Allen won't have any fantasy value with his new team, while Turner should see 20 plus minutes a night on the wing. Turner's value will certainly be less than when he saw 35 minutes a game in Philadelphia.
