Description: Giants tight end Brandon Myers suffered a rib injury in Sunday's loss to Denver.
Insight: Myers will have an MRI on Monday, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. He's posted solid tight end numbers through two games with 13 receptions for 140 yards and one touchdown as the Giants No. 3 option behind Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks.

8/7/2013 9:58:00 PM
Description: Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger says Giants tight end Brandon Myers "seems to be the perfect fit for Eli Manning."
Insight: The two have been connecting on some long passes and have developed chemistry in goal-line drills already. Myers will likely experience a dropoff from his production last year with the Raiders when he caught 79 passes for 806 yards and four touchdowns, but he could exceed the numbers posted by Martellus Bennett in 2012. Bennett had 55 catches for 626 yards and five scores with the Giants before signing with the Bears this offseason.

3/17/2013 10:46:00 AM
Description: Former Raiders tight end Brandon Myers will take Martellus Bennett's place as the Giants' starting tight end in 2013.
Insight: The two sides worked out a one-year agreement on Saturday. Myers quietly had a very productive season in 2012, collecting career-highs in both receiving yards (806 yards) and catches (79). Of course a lot of those numbers came in garbage time but we wouldn't expect too big of a dropoff considering New York's penchant for airing the ball out. Meanwhile, Bennett (55 receptions, 626 yards, five touchdowns in 2012) inked a deal with Chicago earlier in the week.

12/2/2012 8:00:00 PM
Description: Raiders tight end Brandon Myers blew up for 130 yards on 14 receptions Sunday in a loss to Cleveland.
Insight: Those are both career-highs for the fourth-year tight end out of Iowa. Myers leads the team in receiving this season with 721 yards on 69 catches.

11/15/2012 10:31:00 AM
Description: Oakland tight end Brandon Myers has passed his concussion tests and should be ready to play Sunday against New Orleans according to the Contra Costa Times.
Insight: Myers has emerged as one of quarterback Carson Palmer's favorite targets this season with 44 catches in nine games. Teams have been shredding the Saints' defense all season so as long as Myers doesn't suffer any setbacks, he should be in for a big fantasy day.

Description: Raiders tight end Brandon Myers suffered a concussion in Week 10. SOURCE: CSN Bay Area
Insight: Myers has suffered two concussions this season and four in his career. The fourth-year tight end has emerged as a solid PPR option, catching 44 passes for 499 yards and two touchdowns in nine games.

11/5/2012 10:39:00 AM
Description: Raiders tight end Brandon Myers came down with two touchdown catches Sunday in a loss to the Buccaneers.
Insight: Myers has been a decent PPR play all season (39 catches) but hadn't been able to find the end zone until Week 9's game against Tampa Bay. He's on pace for 884 yards this season, which is very respectable for a tight end. Myers won't be this effective every week (keep in mind the Bucs have one of the league's worst passing defenses) but he's certainly worth keeping an eye out for in fantasy.

10/12/2012 1:25:00 PM
Description: Veteran tight end Brandon Myers (shoulder) practiced on Thursday and should play on Sunday.
Insight: Myers has caught 16 of 17 targets, but has yet to get into the end zone. He needs Carson Palmer to look his way a little more often before he becomes an everyday fantasy option.

9/16/2012 4:47:00 PM
Description: Veteran tight end Brandon Myers already has 11 catches in two games for the Raiders this season. Myers came into this year with 32 career grabs in three NFL seasons.
Insight: Myers has been heavily targeted by Carson Palmer in the first two games, and he's made them count for 11 catches and 151 yards. Myers could prove to be a low-cost TE2.
