Broncos place Clady on season-ending injured reserve
Englewood, CO (Sports Network) - Denver Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady was put on season-ending reserve Wednesday after suffering a Lisfranc foot injury in Sunday's win over the New York Giants.
It appeared that Clady suffered the injury when his foot was rolled up by a fallen Giants player as Denver was trying to run out the clock.
The 27-year-old three-time Pro Bowl selection Clady signed a five-year, $57.5 million contract during the during the offseason, which made his the third highest paid left tackle in the NFL.
Over his five-year career, the Boise State product has started every game for the Broncos since the team drafted him with the 12th overall selection in the 2008 NFL Draft.
Chris Clark, who has started just six games over six years in the NFL, will now protect Peyton Manning's blind side.
Winston Justice, who started 12 games for Indy last season, was inked to a deal Wednesday in response to Clady's injury.
