11/14/2014 3:18:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge was forced from Friday's practice by an upper respiratory illness and is doubtful for Saturday's game with the Brooklyn Nets.
Insight: Aldridge ia a top-tier PF averaging 21.8 ppg and 7.9 rpg and can't be replaced. Thomas Robinson would be the guy to start for Aldridge if he can't run.

11/12/2014 9:52:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge posted a double-double in Tuesday's, 102-100, victory over the Hornets.

11/8/2014 6:19:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge posted a double-double in Saturday's loss to the Clippers.
Insight: He had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and although Aldridge was 6-of-6 from the line, he shot a poor 7-of-22 from the field. It was still solid production, but owners would like to see his field goal percentage improve next game.

11/7/2014 9:52:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge scored 20 points on 10-of-16 shooting and hauled in seven rebounds.
Insight: Aldridge's numbers might have been higher if this game was competitive, but he played just 29 minutes in the 21-point victory over Dallas.

11/1/2014 9:24:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge scored 22 points, but did not play well in Friday's loss to the Kings.
Insight: He shot only 7-of-18 from the field and had four total rebounds. While Aldridge did have two blocks, he will need to produce much better on the glass, moving forward.

10/27/2014 8:05:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge will play on Wednesday in the season opener against the Thunder.
Insight: Aldridge averaged 23.2 points and 11.1 rebounds per game last season and being that he is in a contract year, he repeat those numbers.

10/20/2014 4:45:00 PM
Description: Portland forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be looking to build off a career-season.
Insight: Last season, Aldridge averaged 23.2 points per game, 11.1 rebounds per game, and shot 82 percent from the free throw line, which were all career-highs. He also has career-averages of 1.0 blocks per game, 0.8 steals per game, and shoots 40 percent from the field. As a result, Aldridge should not fall further than the begining of the second round, and it would not be a poor decision, to take him at the end of the first.

5/3/2014 9:20:00 AM
Description: LaMarcus Aldridge was outstanding in Friday's win over Houston.
Insight: The Portland forward delivered 30 points, 13 rebounds and two assists. With the exception of Wednesday's Game 5 when the Rockets limited him to just eight points on 3-of-12 shooting, Aldridge had a spectacular series (29.8 ppg, 11.2 rpg in six games) and was probably the best player on the court for either team.

5/2/2014 11:19:00 AM
Description: Portland PF LaMarcus Aldridge was as hot as a firecracker in the first two games of the series, but has cooled off significantly in the last three.
Insight: Aldridge was averaging an obscene 44.5 ppg, 13.0 rpg, 2.5 bpg as Portland took a 2-0 lead in the series, but has averaged 20 ppg and 9.3 over the past three as his team lost two of them.

Hot4/25/2014 10:02:00 AM
Description: Portland PF LaMarcus Aldridge is hotter than any player in the league through the first two games of the series with Houston.
Insight: Aldridge is averaging an obscene 44.5 ppg, 13.0 rpg, 2.5 bpg. It's strange that the Rockets haven't been doubling him much and it they don't start he'll be a must start in every game for the remainder of the series.

Description: Portland won't play LaMarcus Aldridge Wednesday against the Clippers. SOURCE: Caset Holdahl, Blazers.com
Insight: He's just getting some rest. Aldridge slumped a bit in the second half (21.0 ppg on 42.9 percent shooting) but he's still one of the top power forwards in fantasy basketball. The Trail Blazers open their postseason slate Sunday against Houston.

4/15/2014 8:26:00 PM
Description: The Trail Blazers are considering giving LaMarcus Aldridge the night off Wednesday against the Clippers. SOURCE: Mike Tokito, The Oregonian
Insight: Though Portland is only one game behind Houston for the No. 4 seed, the Rockets hold the tiebreaker because they won three out of four against the Blazers during the regular season. That essentially makes Wednesday's game meaningless. Even if Aldridge (23.2 ppg, 11.1 rpg) and the usual starters do play tomorrow night, they'll probably be on a minutes restriction.

Cold3/29/2014 9:41:00 AM
Description: Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge looked out of sorts Friday in a win against the Bulls.
Insight: Aldridge netted a season-low five points on 2-for-10 shooting. He managed to salvage the evening somewhat by collecting 13 rebounds and four steals. Aldridge has slumped badly in the second half of the season, averaging just 18.7 ppg across nine appearances. Back problems have obviously played a major role in his decline.

3/27/2014 9:47:00 PM
Description: Portland power forward LaMarcus Aldridge (back) had 25 points and 16 rebounds over 32 minutes in his return to the lineup Thursday at Atlanta.
Insight: Aldridge missed the last seven games due to a lower-back contusion but had been ready to return for a few days. He just needed to get in a practice session with the team. Dorell Wright started all seven games Aldridge missed but played just 10 minutes Thursday.
