Description: Andre Miller is headed to Sacramento in exchange for Ramon Sessions.
Insight: It's a trade of backup point guards. Neither has fantasy value when their starters are healthy. Currently, Darren Collison is dealing with a hip injury so Miller might is more time right off the bat.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay is expected to play more power forward under new coach George Karl according to the Sacramento Bee.
Insight: This should help Gay get to the foul line more often. Gay will be playing next to DeMarcus Cousins in the front court. Ben McLemore, Omri Casspi and perhaps Nik Stauskas will all see more playing time at small forward.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins left his mark on Wednesday night.
Insight: In his final game before All-Star Weekend, Cousins went 9-of-20 from the floor and 10-of-12 from the line for 28 points, 19 rebounds, five assists, four blocks, and six turnovers. He is a borderline top-15 player.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay played very well during Tuesday's loss against the Bulls.
Insight: He went 10-of-18 from the field and 3-of-5 from the line for 24 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one 3-pointer, one steal, and three turnovers. Gay is a top-40 option in standard leagues.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay will play on Tuesday versus the Bulls.
Insight: This is great news. Sacramento would not rush Gay back right before the All-Star break if he wasn't 100 percent. Owners can start Gay as they normally would. Omri Casspi will return to the bench.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay will not play on Sunday due to a sore left foot according to Kings reporter James Ham.
Insight: Gay hurt his foot on Saturday and played through the injury with little success, going 1-for-8 from the field. Gay should be listed as questionable for Tuesday and Wednesday with the possibility that the Kings just hold him out through the All-Star break.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins is listed as probable for Saturday's game versus the Pacers according to NBA.com.
Insight: Cousins played through a left ankle sprain on Friday, but it wouldn't be surprising if he is somewhat limited in the second game of a back-to-back set. Cousins, though, is a must-start if he plays.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay scored 22 points versus the Raptors on Wednesday.
Insight: Gay was 8-of-17 from the field and hit two 3-pointers. He also had three assists and three rebounds. Gay is a decent fantasy option as he is averaging over 20 ppg and nearly 6.0 rpg and 4.0 apg.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins recorded 28 points and 14 rebounds in the loss to the Nets on Wednesday.
Insight: Cousins shot 10-of-24 with three assists and two steals. Cousins is continuing to have a very impressive season, averaging 24.0 ppg, 12.7 rpg and 3.2 apg while shooting 48.1 percent from the field.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) will not play on Saturday.
Insight: He was questionable coming in, but will not be able to suit up. Jason Thompson, Ryan Hollins, and Reggie Evans will see extended time, but will have a tough matchup against Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins is questionable for Saturday's game due to a right ankle injury.
Insight: Cousins played Friday, but he was obviously not 100 percent. Playing versus Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan on Saturday will probably motivate Cousins to suit up, but he won't be 100 percent again.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay is questionable for Saturday's game versus the Clippers.
Insight: The Kings called up Quincy Miller for this game, so that probably means Gay has little chance to play. He missed Friday's game with a left knee capsule injury, and there is a chance he misses even more games besides Saturday.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins recorded a double-double on Friday versus the Heat.
Insight: Cousins led the Kings with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Cousins was awful from the field, 4-for-12, but made up for it going 9-for-9 at the line. He also had five assists although he did turn it over eight times.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was a monster during Tuesday's overtime loss versus Dallas.
Insight: He had 32 points, 16 boards, nine assists, two steals, one block, but also nine turnovers. Cousins fouled out at the end of regulation and was not available for overtime, hampering what could have been an even bigger line.
Description: Heat center Hassan Whiteside played 29 minutes off the bench and scored 23 points on Sunday.
Insight: Whiteside was a mismatch for the Clippers defense and he took advantage with a season-high 23 points and 16 rebounds. By no means should fantasy owners jump to the waiver wire to pick Whiteside up, but we will keep an eye on him.
Description: Kings guard Ramon Sessions will miss Sunday's game against Detroit due to a bad back.
Insight: There is no timetable for his return. Sessions has no fantasy value as long as Darren Collison is healthy. He's averaging just 6.1 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 2.5 apg this season. Ray McCallum is Collison's backup.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins recorded his third straight double-double on Wednesday, but it was hardly a great game for the Sacramento center.
Insight: Cousins scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds but shot only 29.4 percent from the field. It was Cousins worst shooting game since opening night. Oh, and the referees also ejected him for two technical fouls.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins had a very efficient fantasy night on Monday.
Insight: Cousins scored 24 points, one shy of the team lead, and had 13 rebounds. Cousins was 9-of-12 from the field and 6-for-9 at the free-throw line. Rudy Gay scored 25 points, but shot 9-of-21 from the field. Cousins also had four assists, two blocks and a steal.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay scored a game-high 25 points in the, 107-99, loss to the Nets on Monday.

Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins played Thursday and played well.
Insight: If Cousins was limited in minutes, we didn't see it. He played 32:49 minutes in all, including all of the fourth quarter and did his usual damage with 27 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. He's a fantasy stud and a must start.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will start with a minutes limit on Thursday.
Insight: Cousins has been out since Novemeber, so this is great news. He likely needs a little bit more time to get back into game shape, which is why he will be held to limited minutes. Even if he only plays 20 minutes, Cousins is a must-start in fantasy.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay scored a team-high 20 points in the loss to the Pistons on Saturday.
Insight: Gay only went 6-of-22 from the field overall but was helped by a 4-for-7 night from the 3-point line. Gay also chipped in eight rebounds and eight assists so combine that with the 20 points and 3-pointers, fantasy owners will gladly take it.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins (illness) is still not ready to return to the lineup.
Insight: Cousins (23.5 ppg, 12.6 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.1 spg, 1.5 bpg) is dealing with a viral infection. There is no timetable for his return which could end up going through the end of December. It's a disaster for his fantasy owners.
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison led his team with 26 points and six assists in Tuesday's loss to the Lakers.
Insight: Collison made 11-of-18 shots, including 2-of-3 from the 3-point line. Unfortunately, he curiously made just 25 percent from the free-throw line. Collison is not a great free-throw shooter, but he still shoots 76.5 percent from the line, over 50 percent higher than he shot Tuesday.
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison scored a team-high 22 points during Saturday's loss to the Magic.
Insight: He was 6-of-14 from the field, 7-of-9 from the line, and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Collison also had four assists, three rebounds, and two turnovers. He has played well during his first season in Sacramento, and is currently a borderline top-50 player.
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison scored 20 points in the one-point victory over the Pacers on Friday.

Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay led the team with 27 points in the, 102-101, overtime victory over the Pacers.
Insight: Gay shot 50 percent from the field, hitting his one 3-point attempt and all six of his free throws. Gay also had five assists and five rebounds. He is a decent small forward option with 21.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 4.4 apg this season.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins has missed two games due to illness and is questionable for Tuesday's game against Toronto.
Insight: The flu is going through the Kings locker room, and Cousins (23.5 ppg, 12.6 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.1 spg) is the latest victim. Sacramento used Ryan Hollins Friday and he came through with 15 points and six rebounds, but then disappeared in 17 minutes on Sunday. Neither Carl Landry of jason Thompson did anything in Cousins' absence either.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay is probable for Friday's game verus the Spurs. UPDATE: Gay is starting.
Insight: That's a good sign since this afternoon Gay was listed as questionable. Gay will likely play, but check back in about 30 minutes to make sure. Omri Casspi would be available for a spot start if Gay ends up being a late scratch.
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison is active for Friday's game against the Spurs, but he remains questionable. UPDATE: Collison is starting against the Spurs.
Insight: Head coach Mike Malone is optimistic that Collison will play, but team beat reporter Jason Jones does not expect an official update until about 45 minutes before the tip. Check back to see if anything changes.
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison is active for Friday's game against the Spurs, but he remains questionable.
Insight: Head coach Mike Malone is optimistic that Collison will play, but team beat reporter Jason Jones does not expect an official update until about 45 minutes before the tip. Check back to see if anything changes.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will not play against the Spurs on Friday.
Insight: The flu is going through the Kings locker room, and Cousins is the latest victim. Sacramento doesn't really have a center to replace Cousins, so it will be a team effort. Jason Thompson should get most of the minutes, but with many others in the mix, no one if fantasy relevant on Friday.
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison is questionable for Friday's game against the Spurs due to a bruised left quad.
Insight: Collison has missed the last two games but before that had posted double-digit points in five consecutive games and is averaging 15.9 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 7.0 apg, 1.6 spg). He's been a great bargain this season.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay will not play again on Wednesday due to his Achilles injury.
Insight: Gay and Darren Collison will both not suit up Wednesday. Omri Casspi scored 22 points playing in place of Gay on Tuesday, so he is a great daily pickup. The Kings said they hope Gay can return on Friday according to NBA.com.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins was unreal in Saturday's win over the Timberwolves.
Insight: He was 11-of-15 from the field and 9-of-10 from the line for 31 points, 18 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, one steal, and three turnovers. If Cousins can keep his head on straight, he will continue to produce for owners all season long.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay was questionable for Thursday's game against Chicago due right Achilles tendinitis, but played well.
Insight: Gay went 7-of-11 from the field for 20 points along with seven rebounds and three assists. We did see him with a heating pad on the foot in the second half, so he'll still have to be watched for upcoming games to make sure he's ready to go.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay scored a team-high 26 points against the Mavericks.
Insight: Unfortunately for the Kings, a ferocious Dallas comeback, in which the Mavericks outscored the Kings, 30-15, in the third quarter, spoiled Gay's great night. Gay had eight rebounds and eight assists but also had seven turnovers.
Description: Kings guard Ramon Sessions will start on Tuesday in place of the injured Darren Collison.
Insight: Collison has a stiff shoulder, so Sessions gets the spot start. For daily leagues, Sessions is a decent plug-in, but for weekly or roto leagues, it probably isn't worth grabbing Sessions for one game.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins scored 25 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead Sacramento over Phoenix, 114-112, in double overtime.
Insight: Even with the 10 extra minutes of game time, Cousins' line was impressive on Friday. He shot below 50 percent but made up for it going 13-for-14 at the line. He also had two blocks. Cousins is averaging 24.2 ppg, 11.8 rpg and 1.3 bpg through six games. The Kings are off to a surprisingly fast start at 5-1.
Description: Kings guard Ramon Sessions should not be forgotten about heading into this season.
Insight: He has career averages of 11.7 points per game and 4.7 assists per game, and after averaging 15.8 points per game two seasons ago, Sessions easily holds value. He will most likely go undrafted, but owners should monitor his playing time early in the season.
Description: Kings guard Darren Collison has a chance to be a steal in fantasy drafts.
Insight: With Isaiah Thomas gone, Collison will be starting at point guard, and will have a great chance to improve on his 11.4 points per game, 3.7 assists per game, and 1,2 steals per game, averages from last season. Owners should think about drafting Collison beginning in the 10th round.
Description: Sacramento guard Ben McLemore is nothing more than a late-round pick heading into the season.
Insight: He averaged only 8.8 points per game, 2.9 rebounds per game, 1.0 assists per game, and shot 38 percent from the field. McLemore may raise those numbers slightly, but with rookie Nik Stauskas behind him on the depth chart, the numbers for both players will most likely be inconsistent.
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay should continue to a valuable fantasy player.
Insight: In 55 games with Sacramento, Gay averaged 20.1 points per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 3.1 assists per game, 1.2 steals game, while shooting 48 percent from the field. These numbers are somewhat underrated, and as a result owners should not be afraid to pull the trigger on Gay in the third round.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins is in line for a monster season.
Insight: After averaging 22.7 points per game, 11.7 rebounds per game, 1.5 steals per game, 1.3 blocks per game, while shooting 50 percent from the field last season, Cousins should easily be drafted toward the end of the first round.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins limped off the court in Thursday's Team USA practice, but the MRI revealed no structural damage.
Insight: Team USA and Sacramento fans along with fantasy owners can relax. The 23-year-old was a fantasy stud, averaging 22.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks in 71 games last season. He's also the best big man on Team USA and without him the team would be very small.
Description: According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Kings restricted free agent PG Isaiah Thomas has agreed to a four-year, $27 million offer sheet with the Phoenix Suns.
Insight: The Kings will reportedly agree to a sign-and-trade for a $7 million trade exception and Alex Oriakhi. Sacramento didn't want to commit to the 5-foot-9 Thomas even though he averaged 20.3 ppg and 6.3 apg last season. The Suns are still expected to keep RFA Eric Bledsoe, so Thomas will become a third guard in 2014-15.
Description: Darren Collison has agreed to a three-year, $16 million contract with the Sacramento Kings, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.
Insight: Collison averaged 25.9 minutes, 11.4 points, 3.7 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals with the Clippers last season, though he was much better in 35 starts (14.8 ppg, 5.3 apg, 2.5 rpg, 1.5 spg). Collison said he hopes to compete for a starting job and he may just do that if the Kings choose to let restricted free agent Isaiah Thomas walk. The Kings will be the fifth team the 26-year-old Collison has played for in six seasons in the NBA.
Description: Sacramento will extend a qualifying offer to point guard Isaiah Thomas this offseason. SOURCE: Jonathan Santiago, Cowbell Kingdom
Insight: That means that he'll be a restricted free agent and the team can match any offer he receives from another team. After the season Thomas (20.3 ppg, 6.3 apg) had in 2013-14, the Kings would have been crazy to let him walk.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will be suspended for Wednesday's game against the Suns without pay for receiving his 16th technical foul of the season, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.
Insight: Cousins has averaged a monstrous 27.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks over his last eight games, but he let his temper get the better of him again on Sunday and he'll miss the season finale. That 23-year-old will finish with averages of 22.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks in 71 games this season.
Description: Sacramento small forward Rudy Gay (back) will take a seat Sunday against the Timberwolves, according to Jonathan Santiago of cowbellkingdom.com.
Insight: Gay (20.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg) missed games on Tuesday and Wednesday with his back injury before playing 34 minutes Saturday. Derrick Williams will start in his place tonight but hasn't done much when he has been given extended playing time this season.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins notched 32 points, 12 boards, five assists, two blocks and a pair of steals Saturday in a loss to the Clippers.
Insight: Don't get too excited. The 32 points came on just 12-of-27 shooting (44.4 percent). Still, you have to respect Boogie's consistency. That was the 23-year-old's seventh consecutive double-double.
Description: Kings guard Isaiah Thomas (bruised quad) already has been ruled out for Saturday's game and is doubtful for Sunday, according to Sean Cunningham of News 10 Sacramento.

Description: Boogie Cousins paced the Kings with 24 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks Tuesday in a loss to OKC.
Insight: Cousins (22.3 ppg, 11.6 rpg) is pretty much a guaranteed double-double any time he steps on the court. He's certainly deserving of making the All-NBA team, though voters might pass over him because Sacramento hasn't had a good season (27-51, third-worst record in the Western Conference).
Description: Kings power forward Reggie Evans (back) will miss Tuesday's game, according to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.
Insight: The rebounding specialist has averaged 21 minutes, 4.4 points, 7.2 boards and 0.8 steals over his last 12 games (all starts). Jason Thompson will start in his place and Derrick Williams also will see more minutes.
Description: Kings guard Isaiah Thomas (bruised quad) will miss his eighth straight game Tuesday against the Thunder, according to James Ham of cowbellkingdom.com.

Description: Kings guard Isaiah Thomas (bruised quad) will not play Friday, according to James Ham of cowbellkingdom.com.
Insight: Thomas missed his first game of the season Wednesday night. He's been a breakout star this season, averaging 20.7 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 6.4 apg. Ray McCallum started in his place on Wednesday but shot 3-of-14 in 43 minutes.
Description: Kings point guard Isaiah Thomas netted 30 points Sunday in a win against the Bucks.
Insight: Thomas connected on nine of his 13 field goal attempts including 3-of-4 from long range. He's averaged 22.1 ppg since the All-Star break. That's almost a two-point improvement from what he averaged during the first half of the season (20.2 ppg).
Description: Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins tallied 32 points in Sunday's win against the Bucks.
Insight: He also corralled 12 rebounds in just 29 minutes of action. The 32 points represents Cousins' highest point total since January 7th versus Portland. Cousins and the Kings will be back in action Wednesday against the Knicks.

Description: Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins had 24 points and 14 rebounds in 30 minutes Tuesday after sitting out Monday.

Description: Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins (22.2 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.5 spg, 1.3 bpg) missed Sunday's game with right knee tendinitis but is expected to return Tuesday against Washington. SOURCE: Sacramento Bee
Insight: Derrick Williams had a big night in Cousins' absence (26 points, 11 boards). Cousins scored 14 points on 3-of-16 shooting when he faced the Wizards earlier this season.
Description: Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins unexpectedly missed Sunday's game with right knee tendinitis, but should return Tuesday.
Insight: Cousins' production -- 22.2 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.5 spg, 1.3 bpg -- is usually irreplaceable so hopefully he can return soon. Derrick Williams picked up extra playing time Sunday and made the most of it - 26 points, 11 rebounds.
Description: Kings forward Derrick Williams took advantage of DeMarcus Cousins' absence due to knee tendinitis Sunday to score 26 points and grab 11 rebounds.
Insight: Williams had a similar game on Feb. 28, putting up 26 points and 12 rebounds, but he followed that up with a high of 10 points in his last eight games. The Kings have been rotating Williams, Reggie Evans and Jason Thompson at power forward and none of them really has fantasy value when Cousins is healthy because he's such a high-usage player. If Cousins remains out Williams may be able to put up some fantasy-worthy numbers, but nothing close to what he did Sunday.
Description: Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins will miss Sunday's game with right knee tendinitis, according to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.
Insight: Cousins' production -- 22.2 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.5 spg, 1.3 bpg -- is irreplaceable so hopefully he can return soon. Jason Thompson, Reggie Evans and Derrick Williams will pick up extra playing time in his absence.
Description: Kings forward Rudy Gay drained 5-of-12 from the field and 16-of-19 from the free-throw line to reach the 20-point mark for the third straight game Wednesday against the Sixers.
Insight: Gay had 27 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals at Philadelphia. He has averaged 23 ppg on .486 shooting his last 11 games after a brief slump in mid-February. In 41 games with the Kings, Gay has made over 49 percent of his field-goal attempts.
Description: Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins had everything working Sunday against Brooklyn.
Insight: His teammates didn't (the Kings lost by 15) but that's a different story. Boogie totaled 28 points and 20 rebounds though it would have been better without the six turnovers he committed. Cousins' streak of 20-point games is now at five in a row.
Description: The Kings have signed controversial forward Royce White to a ten-day contract. SOURCE: Kings on Twitter
Insight: White will get his feet wet in the D-League and depending on how that goes, he could get another ten-day contract with the big club. Even if White sticks, he's not likely to be a major fantasy asset.
Description: Sacramento will be without veteran power forward Carl Landry Wednesday is out indefinitely, according to coach Michael Malone.
Insight: Knee tendinitis has caused Landry to miss the last four games. Even when healthy, he isn't much of a fantasy option (4.2 ppg, 3.2 rpg in 18 contests). His minutes will go to Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins had a big game Saturday in his return from a one-game suspension.
Insight: Boogie went off for 21 points, 17 rebounds and three blocked shots, though it wasn't enough to beat Minnesota (108-97). Fantasy owners should be aware that Cousins is one technical away from another suspension. We'll see if he can keep his cool Monday against the Pelicans.
Description: Kings forward Carl Landry is out for Saturday's game against the T-Wolves. SOURCE: James Ham, Cowbell Kingdom
Insight: Landry has been battling a sore knee. With averages of just 4.2 ppg and 3.2 rpg, Landry hasn't done much to impress fantasy owners. Jason Thompson (7.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg) and Derrick Williams (9.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg) should both see more minutes in Landry's absence.
Description: Sacramento power forward Carl Landry (knee) will miss Friday's game against the Lakers, according to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com.

Description: Jimmer Fredette's buyout with the Kings is official, according to nba.com.
Insight: The Kings took Fredette 10th overall in 2011 and proceeded to play him 15 minutes per game the next two and a half seasons. He has averaged an impressive 16.8 points and 2.5 threes per 36 minutes in his career and may be able to establish some fantasy value as a 3-point gunner if he lands with the right organization.
Description: Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins has been suspended for a game and fined $20,000 for throwing a punch and then verbally abusing the referees. He'll miss Friday's game.
Insight: Cousins is a ticking timebomb and fantasy owners who selected him knew it. Now its time to pay the piper. It's a shame such a talented player (22.3 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 2.9 apg) can't control his emotions.
