Description: Titans quarterback Jake Locker could not build off his performance from Week 1.
Insight: Locker has been inconsistent throughout his career, and that trend continued against the Cowboys. He was 18/34 for 234 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. It does not get any easier as Tennessee travels to Cincinnati for Week 3. Consider Locker a QB2 on Sunday.

Description: Titans quarterback Jake Locker told the Nashville Tennessean that he feels more comfortable against the blitz than he has in the past.
Insight: Locker has been inaccurate against defensive pressure in the past, but that was not the case versus the Chiefs on Sunday. Kansas City did sack Locker four times, but he completed 22-of-33 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns. If you need a quarterback this week, Locker has a great matchup against the Cowboys.

Description: Titans quarterback Jake Locker was 12-of-17 for 188 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Falcons.

Insight: That means he'll be a free agent after next season. Locker doesn't have Ryan Fitzpatrick breathing down his neck anymore but the team could still draft a quarterback to compete with him in training camp.

Description: Tennessee QB Jake Locker (Lisfranc surgery) says he is ahead of schedule and expects to be ready for May OTAs, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.
Insight: Locker, Charlie Whitehurst and Tyler Wilson are the current QBs on the roster, but don't be surprised if the new regime brings in a quarterback in the draft. Locker has yet to show he's a fantasy-worthy QB.

Description: Jake Locker's future in Tennessee looks more uncertain than ever now that Ken Whisenhunt is the head coach. SOURCE: Jim Wyatt, The Tennessean
Insight: In his introductory press conference, Whisenhunt said he hasn't seen much of Locker at the pro level. He also said the team hasn't ruled out drafting a quarterback with the No. 11 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Locker has a team option for the 2015 season but it's unknown if the Titans are interested in keeping him beyond that. Stay tuned.

11/12/2013 2:22:00 PM
Description: It's now official. Titans quarterback Jake Locker has been put on injured reserve and will miss the rest of the season after suffering a Lisfranc injury Sunday against the Jaguars.
Insight: Locker's main obstacle in becoming a productive fantasy player has been staying healthy. When this season ends, he'll have missed 14 out of a possible 32 games since the start of 2012.

Description: According to the Titans official Twitter, coach Mike Munchak confirmed Monday that Jake Locker will miss the rest of the season with a Lisfranc injury.

11/10/2013 5:59:00 PM
Description: According to the Nashville Tennessean's Jim Wyatt, Tennessee QB Jake Locker may have suffered a season-ending foot injury in the first half Sunday against Jacksonville.
Insight: Originally it looked like it might have been a leg injury or even a recurrence of a hip ailment he had earlier in the year. Now Wyatt is hearing Lisfranc.

Description: Tennessee QB Jake Locker suffered a foot injury in the first half Sunday against Jacksonville.
Insight: Originally it looked like it might have been a leg injury or even a recurrence of a hip ailment he had earlier in the year. With Locker doubtful to return, Harvard product Ryan Fitzpatrick will be asked to lead the offense.

11/10/2013 2:06:00 PM
Description: Titans QB Jake Locker is back in the locker room with four minutes left in the second quarter.
Insight: It appeared to be a leg injury and may not have been a re-injury of his hip which cost him games earlier this season. His return is questionable. Ryan Fitzpatrick would be the Titans' backup uption.

10/20/2013 3:08:00 PM
Description: Titans QB Jake Locker is back in the lineup Sunday against the Niners.
Insight: That doesn't mean he a great fantasy option this week, but if you have been struggling with Ryan Fitzpatrick this is an upgrade and quarterback and a boon to his receivers.

Insight: That means it's back to the bench for Ryan Fitzpatrick. Locker missed two games with a sprained hip but recovered much quicker than expected. He hasn't thrown an interception yet this season and his 99.0 QB rating was one of the league's best at the time of his injury.

Description: Tennessee quarterback Jake Locker will be a game-time decision Sunday against the 49ers. Locker, who returned to practice this week, has been dealing with a sprained hip. SOURCE: John Clayton, ESPN
Insight: Locker's original timetable for a return was 4-to-8 weeks so the fact that he could be back in only three is a huge win for the Titans. Tennessee has lost two in a row with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center though both losses were against excellent teams (6-0 Kansas City and 6-1 Seattle).

10/1/2013 8:02:00 PM
Description: According to titansonline.com, Jake Locker's MRI revealed no major damage to his hip joint.
Insight: Locker's injury is classified as a sprained hip. He won't require surgery and has already begun a rehab routine for both his hip and knee injuries. The team still expects him to miss "a few weeks," but he could be back closer to four weeks than eight.

9/30/2013 10:12:00 AM
Description: Tennessee quarterback Jake Locker could miss 4-8 weeks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Insight: Locker was in the middle of a great game when he suffered a hip injury and was carted off the field Sunday against the Jets. Ryan Fitzpatrick will start in his place Sunday against the undefeated Chiefs.

9/29/2013 6:20:00 PM
Description: Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker was in the middle of a great game when he suffered a hip injury and was carted off the field.
Insight: Locker was 18-of-24 for 149 yards, 3 TDs and no interceptions at the time of the injury.

9/22/2013 6:28:00 PM
Description: Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker scampered for 68 yards and a touchdown on five carries and threw for 299 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Chargers.
Insight: Locker has led the Titans to a surprising 2-1 record and they very well could be 3-0 if they hadn't blown a lead against the Texans in Week 2. The third-year QB has zero turnovers but only three passing touchdowns and 572 passing yards in three games so he isn't yet on the QB2 radar.

7/24/2013 3:14:00 PM
Description: Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker will get as many reps as possible during the exhibition season, according to head coach Mike Munchak.
Insight: If true, Locker will post gaudy stats in the exhibition season, but fantasy owners will have to look past the numbers and see how he's playing before jumping on the Locker bandwagon. Most quarterbacks get at most five quarters of action over the exhibition season, but it appears Locker may see more work than that.

1/9/2013 1:50:00 PM
Description: Jim Wyatt at the Nashville Tennessean reports that Titans quarterback Jake Locker had surgery on his left shoulder on Tuesday.
Insight: Locker suffered through two injuries to the shoulder during the season. The team hopes he'll be ready for May OTAs, but he should certainly be ready for training camp. The Titans have a lot of offensive talent, so if Locker can step up his game, he could be a low-end fantasy starter.
