Description: Royals right fielder Alex Gordon has just two hits in 17 career at-bats against Indians starter Carlos Carrasco.

Insight: Holliday was 3-for-5, but he didn't drive in a run or score in the game. He is hitting .345 with 14 RBI and 14 runs, but Holliday hasn't produced much power yet. His on-base percentage, .468, is actually higher than his slugging percentage, .437.
Description: Pirates outfielder Starling Marte hit a line drive solo home run to right field for the Pirates only run in the, 7-1, loss to the Reds on Tuesday.
Insight: Marte was 1-for-2 with the solo bomb that was just a bullet to right, but Pittsburgh can't get any offense going. They have scored one run in each of their last four games, all losses. The Pirates have picked a bad time for the offense to stop hitting as they have dropped six of the last seven to division rivals. Marte is hitting .264 with seven home runs and 18 RBI in 91 at-bats this season.
Description: Marlins first baseman Michael Morse will sit on Monday.
Insight: Even more of a reason not to throw Giancarlo Stanton a hittable pitch. Morse hasn't done much this season, batting just .193, but the threat of his power helps Stanton. Justin Bour will get the start at 1B.
Description: Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday is a career .375 hitter with four long balls against Cubs starter Travis Wood.
Insight: Old Man River just keeps on going, batting .321 with 14 RBI and an .865 OPS through his first 23 games this season. in his 12th season, he's batting above his lifetime .308 average, though he's only hit one home run.

Description: Outfielder Josh Hamilton trade to the Texas Rangers is now complete.
Insight: The deal was announced on the Angels' Twitter feed, and will officially end his rough tenure with the team. Hamilton is recovering from shoulder surgery and will likely be out until at least the middle of May. However, he carries nice potential in Texas' lineup.
Description: Mariners outfielder Nelson Cruz is a career 5-for-5 with two home runs versus Texas starter Yovani Gallardo.
Insight: Sure the sample size is miniscule, but at the very least he'll be confident and added to his monster start should make him a must start for fantasy owners. Cruz is batting .310 with nine homers and 20 RBI in 18 games this season.
Description: Rockies left fielder Corey Dickerson is questionable for Monday's game against Arizona due to plantar fasciitis.
Insight: Dickerson, hitting .317 overall with five homers and 14 RBI, has been dealing with this issue for most of the season, but this is the first time it's kept him on the sidelines. We await further updates.
Description: Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper hit a solo home run in the loss to the Marlins on Sunday.

Description: Royals right fielder Alex Gordon is just 6-for-34 versus White Sox pitcher John Danks.
Insight: Fantasy owners have to be disappointed with Gordon through the first three weeks of the season. He has sat out a lot of games and hasn't found his rhythm at the plate. Gordon is batting .239 with one home run in 46 at-bats.
Description: Padres outfielder Justin Upton hit a pair of home runs in the, 11-8, loss to the Dodgers on Saturday.

Description: Braves starter Julio Teheran is a tough pitcher, but Mets first baseman Lucas Duda is a career .350 hitter (7-for-20) with a pair of doubles and home runs in their matchups.
Insight: He is now hitting .339 with nine RBI, though he's only hit one home run this season after blasting a career-high 30 in 2014. Add in the wind blowing out to right field at about 15 mph on Thursday.
Description: Marlins left fielder Christian Yelich (strained lower back) hasn'r played since Sunday and is questionable for Thursday's game against Philadelphia.
Insight: It's serious enough that the team is discussing a trip to the disabled list. A lot is expected to Yelich after last season and to date he's batting just .200 with a .488 OPS. This is the reason for his ugly start. Ichiro Suzuki will take his spot in left field.
Description: Padres outfielder Justin Upton is 8-for-23 (.348) lifetime against Rockies pitcher Kyle Kendrick.
Insight: Upton has a double, two home runs and four RBI versus Kendrick. Upton has hits in every game this season but one, so definitely make sure he is in the lineup. He is batting .315 with three home runs and eight RBI in 54 at-bats this season.
