Insight: Detroit scored its first run on a wild pitch that brought in Miguel Cabrera. The offense finally broke through with a key hit on Castellanos' single and went up, 3-0, but a five-run frame for the Athletics in the seventh dropped the Tigers to 28-25. Castellanos is hitting .235 with four home runs and 23 RBI in 187 at-bats this season.
Description: Nationals infielder Anthony Rendon may play a couple more minor league games and could be ready to return to Washington by the end of the week.
Insight: Rendon hasn't play this season due to a knee and an oblique injury. He's been brought along very slowly. He was a fantasy stud last season (.287, 21 HR, 83 RBI, 111 runs, 17 SB) and fantasy owners are likely getting frustrated by the delay in his return.
Description: Rangers highly-touted third base prospect Joey Gallo has been called up to replace the injured Adrian Beltre.
Insight: The 21-year-old Gallo was at Double-A Frisco where he was batting .314 with nine homers in 121 at-bats. he also struck out 49 times. He should just be a 2-3 week replacement for Beltre and then return to the minors.
Description: Marlins 3B/OF Martin Prado was 2-for-4 in the loss to the Cubs on Monday.
Insight: Miami only had six hits in the game, but Prado hit the ball hard in all four of his at-bats. He doubled to the right field corner in the first and then reached on an infield single in the eighth. Prado is hitting .284 with three home runs and 21 RBI in 208 at-bats this season.
Description: Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez had two hits to raise his season average to .281 this year.
Insight: New York didn't score a run, so Rodriguez obviously didn't produce any runs, but his totals for the year are now .281/.369/.545 with 11 home runs, 27 RBI and 28 runs in 167 at-bats this season. No complaints from Rodriguez fantasy owners.
Description: Orioles third baseman Manny Machado hit a pair of home runs in the, 9-5, loss to the Rays on Sunday.
Insight: Machado went deep in the seventh and ninth as he and Baltimore tried to comeback versus Tampa Bay, but they ultimately fell short. Machado was just 2-for-24 in his last six games coming into Sunday, so it was nice to see him get back on track. He was 3-for-5 with three RBI on Sunday. He is hitting .270 with eight home runs and 22 RBI in 185 at-bats.
Description: Braves third baseman Juan Uribe had a huge game Saturday versus San Francisco.
Insight: Uribe went 3-for-4 with a homer, double, two RBI, and three runs scored. He is batting .258 with two homers and eight RBI this season. He should see more time at third than he did with the Dodgers.
Description: Blue Jays infielder Steve Tolleson missed Friday's game against Minnesota while dealing with a sore groin and is questionable for Saturday's game against Minnesota.
Insight: Tolleson has been a decent fill-in for Devon Travis, batting .268 with a .772 OPS this season. However, fantasy owners still can't wait to get Travis' power back in the lineup and he's already out on a rehab assignment.
Description: Pirates third baseman Josh Harrison is not in the lineup on Friday against the Padres. is hitting .429 in his last 15 games.
Insight: This is a little strange because Harrison is so hot, hitting .429 in his last 15 games, but Clint Hurdle is going to give him a break. The Pirates have Gregory Polanco leading off and playing right field, Neil Walker will bat second and play second base, Jung Ho Kang is starting at third and batting fifth and Jordy Mercer is at shortstop batting eighth. That covers all the position Harrison plays right?

Harrison has just been on fire and it is probably no coincidence that the Pirates, who have won seven straight, are as well. Harrison has raised his average nearly 100 points in the last 15 games and is hitting .266 with four home runs, 17 RBI and 25 runs in 173 at-bats this season.
Description: Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson hit the game-tying homer in the ninth Wednesday against the White Sox.
Insight: After two huge homers on Tuesday night, Donaldson was at it again on Wednesday. Unfortuantely Toronto lost in extras, but owners will be happy with their third baseman. Donaldson is hitting .314 with 13 homers and 35 RBI this season.
Description: Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager had a massive game on Tuesday night.
Insight: With Seattle trailing 3-2 in the eighth inning, Seager blasted a grand-slam to give the Mariners a 6-3 lead. Then after Fernando Rodney blew the save, Seager hit a solo shot in the 10th, which ended up being the game-winner. He finished 3-for-5 with six RBI and is now batting .281 with nine homers and 29 RBI overall.
Description: Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson hit a walk-off three-run home run in the ninth as Toronto beat the Chicago White Sox, 10-9, on Tuesday.
Insight: Donaldson had an incredible game, going 4-for-4 with a walk, four RBI and five runs. He also had a solo shot in the first to score Toronto's first run, so he had a pair of bombs in the game. Donaldson has been stellar this season, slashing .315/.379/.582 with 12 home runs, 33 RBI and 40 runs in 184 at-bats this season.
Description: Orioles infielder Jimmy Paredes had three hits and a run scored in the, 4-1, loss to the Astros on Tuesday.
Insight: Paredes scored Baltimore's only run in the sixth on a sacrifice fly. That actually gave the Orioles a, 1-0, lead, but Houston scored four unanswered runs to end the game. Paredes is having a fantastic season, hitting .348 with six home runs and 25 RBI in 132 at-bats this season.

Insight: Harrison saw his 11-game hitting streak snapped on Monday, but he went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs on Tuesday. It is probably no coincidence that Harrison is hitting .414 in the last 16 games, and the Pirates are 10-6 over that span. In the last seven games, Harrison is 12-for-30 (.400) and Pittsburgh is 5-2.

Insight: The first 20,000 fans at PNC Park on Saturday received a Harrison bobblehead, and the third baseman celebrated his day going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run in the, 8-2, victory over the Mets on Saturday. After nearly losing his job due to a posting a batting average below .180 through April, Harrison is hitting .261 with four home runs and 13 RBI in 153 at-bats.
Description: Mets third baseman David Wright was looking at an early June return, but apparently suffered a setback, according to NY Newsday's Marc Carig.
Insight: Wright suffered a right hamstring strain and then hurt his back while rehabbing the hamstring. he apparently injured the back again which should push his rehab back at least another week. He's played just eight games this season, but was batting .333 at the time of the injury.

Insight: Minnesota jumped all over ex-Twins pitcher Francisco Liriano, who allowed seven runs in two innings. Plouffe capped off the six-run second with his two-run bomb. He is hitting .261/.340/.455 with six home runs and 20 RBI in 134 at-bats this season.
Description: Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant is questionable for Tuesday's game against San Diego due to illness.
Insight: Bryant has 24 RBI this season and since getting called up on April 17, only Bryce Harper has more. He's everything fantasy owners expected of him and hopefully he'll return to the lineup quickly.
