49ers sign S McBath Santa Clara, CA (Sports Network) - The San Francisco 49ers signed safety Darcel McBath to a one-year contract on Thursday. The 27-year-old McBath signed with the 49ers before last season and played mostly on special teams, where he totaled eight tackles in the regular season and one in the playoffs. A second round pick of Denver in 2009, he has played in 37 games with San Francisco, Jacksonville and Denver over his four seasons in the NFL.
