Dorell Wright, F4/3/2015 1:30:00 PM
Description: Portland shooting guard/small forward Dorell Wright will miss a month to six weeks after suffering a left hand fracture.
Insight: Allen Crabbe and C.J. McCollum should soak up his minutes which haven't been much since the return of Nicolas Batum.
Damian Lillard, PG3/29/2015 9:41:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard was 4-for-11 from the field in the, 120-114, victory over the Nuggets on Saturday.
Insight: The poor shooting night led to just eight points for Lillard although he did have 10 assists, three rebounds and a steal. Lillard is in a big of a slump, shooting 33.3 percent from the field in the last three games.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/29/2015 9:36:00 AM

Nicolas Batum, F3/27/2015 11:24:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum is questionable for Friday's game against Phoenix due to a strained lower back.
Insight: Batum is a box score filler when healthy, averaging 9.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 4.8 apg, 1.1 spg. Dorell Wright would benefit the most if Batum can't run.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/25/2015 9:06:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) will start Wednesday versus Utah.
Insight: Nicolas Batum will also return, but will come off the bench. Get Aldridge back into your lineups ASAP.
C.J. McCollum, G3/25/2015 9:51:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard C.J. McCollum scored a career-high 23 points off the bench in the loss to the Warriors on Tuesday.
Insight: McCollum shot 50 percent from the field, hitting three 3-pointers. He also had three steals, two assists and one rebound. With injuries decimating Portland, McCollum is worth a look in standard leagues.
Damian Lillard, PG3/25/2015 9:26:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard led Portland with 29 points in the loss to the Warriors on Tuesday.
Insight: Without LaMarcus Aldridge, Lillard took more than twice as many shots as any other Portland starter. He hit more 3-pointers, six, than any other starter had field goals. Lillard also had seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/24/2015 10:42:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) has been downgraded to out for Tuesday's contest.
Insight: Nicolas Batum is also out with a sore back. Consider them both day-to-day for now.
Chris Kaman, C3/23/2015 4:38:00 PM
Description: Portland center Chris Kaman did not play on Saturay due to a shoulder injury and is doubtful for Tuesday against Golden State.
Insight: Kaman could be joined by LaMarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum. Portland is running out of big man that fantasy owners can start. Robin Lopez could have fantasy value if the three players listed don't play.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/23/2015 4:35:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) is doubtful for Tuesday's game.
Insight: Aldridge missed Monday's practice. The Blazers can't win in the playoffs without the big man, so for them losing a game in March is preferable to at playoff time. Fantasy owners won't agree. Meyers Leonard should see an increase in playing time, but has little fantasy value.
Damian Lillard, PG3/21/2015 10:46:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard scored a team-high 27 points during Saturday's loss to the Grizzlies.
Insight: He shot 8-of-18 from the field and 9-of-9 from the line. Lillard also had seven dimes, three rebounds, two 3-pointers, and five turnovers. He is a top-15 option in standard leagues.

Insight: He will not return, which is the same for Nicolas Batum who is dealing with lower back pain. Portland will finish up the night short-handed.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/20/2015 9:58:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge left Saturday's game with a left hand injury.

Chris Kaman, C3/20/2015 8:46:00 PM
Description: Portland center Chris Kaman will not play on Friday due to a right shoulder strain according to the team's twitter page.
Insight: Kaman may miss a few games with the injury. Meyers Leonard will start in his place and is a decent pickup in deep leagues.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/16/2015 9:24:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge scored a team-high 24 points during Monday's loss to the Wizards.
Insight: He had 24 points and 12 rebounds, along with three assists, one block, and one turnover. Aldridge also shot 10-of-19 from the field and 4-of-6 from the line.
Nicolas Batum, FHot3/16/2015 9:23:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum continued his strong play on Monday night.
Insight: Batum did shoot just 4-of-12 from the field, but that was his only blemish in the game. He finished with 12 points, 14 boards, five assists, two 3-pointers, one steal, one block, and two turnovers.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/15/2015 9:29:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge scored a team-high 24 points during Sunday's victory against the Raptors.

Nicolas Batum, FHot3/6/2015 9:48:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum put up another solid effort Friday night.
Insight: Batun finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. With Wes Matthews sidelined, Portland will likely look for Batum to pick up his offensive game.
Damian Lillard, PG3/6/2015 9:45:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, off a 1-of-13 effort on Wednesday, was better Thursday night against Dallas.
Insight: He still wasn't back to his normal self, but he did go 4-of-10 for 14 points, six rebounds and five assists. With Wes Matthews out for the season, the Trail Blazers will need Lillard to start scoring again.
Arron Afflalo, G3/6/2015 9:32:00 AM
Description: Guard Arron Afflalo should see a significant increase to his fantasy value after Thursday's night's season-ending injury to Wes Matthews.
Insight: Afflalo had only been averaging 8.7 ppg while playing around 27 minutes, but those numbers should both increase for the remainder of the season. Afflalo averaged 14.5 ppg with Denver this season and that number should be reachable.
Wesley Matthews, G3/6/2015 9:29:00 AM
Description: Portland shooting guard Wesley Matthews suffered a torn left Achilles tendon and will miss the remainder of the season.
Insight: Matthews (16.1 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2.3 apg) was a great source of three-pointers having made 173 in just 59 games. Arron Afflalo should get most of his playing time.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/5/2015 9:22:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge didn't shoot very well, but when you take 30 shots you are going to put up numbers.
Insight: Aldridge hit just 12 of the 30 shots for 29 points and nine rebounds. Considering he has two bad thumbs, its a miracle he plays at this high a level.
Nicolas Batum, FHot3/5/2015 9:19:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum was the star of overtime, dishing assists and scoring as Portland outlasted the Clippers 98-93.
Insight: Batun finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and a steal against just one turnover. He's a box score filler.
Damian Lillard, PG3/5/2015 9:13:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard missed his first 12 shots, but helped his team and fantasy owners in other ways.
Insight: Lillard shot 1-of-13 from the field, but hauled down 18 rebounds and dished out four assists. with his five points. He lost his patience near the end taking a few wild shots, but we like that he helped his team to the overtime victory on a horrible shooting night.
Damian Lillard, PG3/1/2015 8:47:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard scored a team-high 31 points during Sunday's victory versus Sacramento.
Insight: Lillard shot 11-of-20 from the field, 2of-2 from the line, and 3-of-5 from downtown. He also chipped in seven dimes, four rebounds, one block, and two turnovers. He is a top-10 player.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F3/1/2015 8:45:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge went for 26 points and 15 boards during Sunday's victory over the Kings.
Insight: He was 9-of-25 from the field and 8-of-9 from the line, with two assists and two turnovers as well. Aldridge is a borderline top-10 option in standard leagues.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F2/22/2015 8:22:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge will not play on Sunday due to a right thumb sprain.
Insight: Aldridge is playing through ligament damage to his left thumb, but the sprain is in his other thumb, on his shooting hand. Aldridge was shooting during practice on Sunday, so hopefully he is sitting just as a precaution. Chris Kaman, Meyers Leonard and Dorell Wright will play more on Sunday without Aldridge.
Alonzo Gee, F2/19/2015 12:22:00 PM
Description: Portland's new acquisition, Alonzo Gee, didn't have fantasy value in Denver and won't have any in Portland.
Insight: Gee was averaging 4.9 ppg, 1.8 rpg and came over in a deal that included Aaron Afflalo.
Arron Afflalo, G2/19/2015 12:20:00 PM
Description: Nuggets guard Arron Afflalo has been traded to Portland and his fantasy value should take a significant hit.
Insight: Afflalo will have to back up Wes Matthews in Portland so his 33 mpg will see a huge drop. He was averaging 14.5 ppg in Denver, but will have to find his opportunities behind LaMarcus Aldridge, Damian Lillard and Nicolas Batum. Sit him until you see how it all plays out.
Damian Lillard, PG2/8/2015 9:39:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard shot 60 percent from the field on his way to 23 points as Portland beat Houston, 109-98, on Sunday.
Insight: Lillard also had five rebounds, five assists and was 10-of-11 from the free-throw line. Lillard is averaging 21.2 ppg, 6.0 apg and 5.0 rpg in the last five games. Deservingly, Lillard has been added to the All-Star roster, replacing the injured Blake Griffin.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F2/8/2015 9:35:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge led the team with 24 points on Sunday.
Insight: Aldridge was 8-of-17 from the field and 8-for-8 at the line. He also had five rebounds, two blocks, two assists and two steals. Even with his injury, Aldridge is a must-start because of these types of nights.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F2/8/2015 9:12:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge had a typical game during Saturday's overtime loss to the Mavericks.
Insight: He went 11-of-22 from the field and 3-of-5 from the line for 25 points, 14 boards, one assist, and three turnovers. Aldridge is averaging 23.7 ppg and 10.4 rpg on the season.
Chris Kaman, C2/7/2015 10:30:00 AM
Description: Portland center Chris Kaman is questionable for Saturday's game against Dallas while dealing with his sore back.
Insight: The return, and solid play, of starter Robin Lopez last week has made Kaman a non-factor for fantasy owners.
Robin Lopez, C2/5/2015 11:36:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers center Robin Lopez was solid in his first game back from a broken right hand.
Insight: Lopez played 25 minutes, shooting 5-of-9 for 11 points and six rebounds. His return significantly cuts into Meyers Leonard and Chris Kaman's fantasy value.
Damian Lillard, PG2/5/2015 11:35:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard finally broke out of his shooting slump Tuesday, going 10-of-17 for 25 points.
Insight: Still, he missed all six three-point attempts. Lillard had shot 41-of-135 (30.3 percent) over his previous seven games. Hopefully he's turned the corner.
Robin Lopez, C2/3/2015 3:42:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers center Robin Lopez is expected to play versus the Jazz on Tuesday according to Utah radio announcer David Locke.
Insight: Lopez will likely start which cuts Meyers Leonard and Chris Kaman's fantasy value. Lopez should be put back into all fantasy lineups as long as he does play.
Robin Lopez, C2/2/2015 3:20:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers center Robin Lopez (broken right hand) was seen practicing Monday and could return to the lineup as early as Tuesday, according to Casey Holdahl.
Insight: A Lopez return would put Chris Kaman and Meyers Leonard back on the bench. Lopez was averaging 9.6 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.2 apg, 1.5 bpg and has low-end fantasy value.
LaMarcus Aldridge, FHot1/30/2015 9:54:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge had a typical game during Saturday's overtime loss to the Mavericks.
Insight: He went 11-of-22 from the field and 3-of-5 from the line for 25 points, 14 boards, one assist, and three turnovers. Aldridge is averaging 23.7 ppg and 10.4 rpg on the season.
Damian Lillard, PG1/30/2015 3:33:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard is not happy about not being named to the All-Star team and that could be good for fantasy owners.
Insight: "It ain't always gone be peaches and cream, but somebody has to pay for the reason it's not," said Lillard. Sounds like someone is going to see an intense basketball player this evening in Atlanta. Lillard is having a great season, averaging 22 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 6.2 apg, 1.4 steals and 2.7 three-pointers per night.
Nicolas Batum, F1/30/2015 11:40:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum, a game-time decision on Wednesday, is not on the Portland injury report for Friday.
Insight: That's a great sign. He didn't score much in Wednesday's game (7 points), but he did pull down four rebounds, dish out seven assists, grab two steals and block a shot.
LaMarcus Aldridge, FHot1/28/2015 9:29:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge scored 38 points but it wasn't enough versus the LeBron James-less Cavaliers.
Insight: That's because Kyrie Irving dropped 55 points, nailing 11 3-pointers. Aldridge may have been overshadowed, but he was stellar himself, going 13-of-23 with 11 rebounds. He also was 10-for-10 at the line.
Nicolas Batum, F1/28/2015 6:03:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum is a game-time decision on Wednesday versus the Cavaliers.
Insight: Batum was questionable on Monday in a game that was postponed due to weather. If does not play, there are several player who will fill in, so none of them are fantasy worthy.
Nicolas Batum, F1/27/2015 4:17:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum said that he is mostly pain-free, after putting up some shots in Tuesday's practice.
Insight: He is still questionable for Wednesday's game, but Batum is trending in the right direction. Stay tuned.
Damian Lillard, PG1/26/2015 11:27:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard's owners will have to wait until his next start against Cleveland Wednesday as it appears the Portland-Brooklyn game has been postponed by the expected snowstorm in the New York area Monday night.
Insight: Lillard is having a great season, averaging 22 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 6.2 apg, 1.4 steals and 2.7 three-pointers per night.
Dorell Wright, F1/25/2015 9:24:00 AM
Description: Portland shooting guard/small forward Dorell Wright made the best of the opportunity of the absence of starter Nicolas Batum Saturday night.
Insight: Allen Crabbe started, but didn't take a shot on pull down a rebound in his shot time on the floor. Wright and Will Barton each played 20-plus minutes with Wright having the bigger impact (10 points, six rebounds, three assists).
Allen Crabbe, FCold1/25/2015 9:22:00 AM
Description: Allen Crabbe made the start at small forward Saturday night for the injured Nicolas Batum, but played just seven minutes and showed no signs of fantasy value.
Insight: Crabbe didn't take a shot or pull down a rebound in his short time on the floor. Dorell Wright and Will Barton each played 20-plus minutes with Wright having the bigger impact (10 points, six rebounds, three assists).
Damian Lillard, PG1/25/2015 9:19:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard didn't have a very good night, but went 8-of-8 from the line to help save the day for his fantasy owners.
Insight: The surprise return of LaMarcus Aldridge stiffled some of the expected additional scoring we predicted from Lillard, but he's still an elite point guard. He finished Saturday night with 20 points, seven assists, three rebounds and a steal.
LaMarcus Aldridge, FHot1/25/2015 9:13:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) went from expected to missd 6-8 weeks back to fantasy stud in a blink of an eye.
Insight: Aldridge decided to delay surgery on his left thumb for the good of the team and racked up a team-high 26 points on 9-for-22 shooting. He also hauled down nine rebounds and didn't seem to injury the thumb any further by playing. It appears it will be all about pain management and as long as he's out there he's a must-start.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F1/24/2015 3:17:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) will play Saturday versus Washington.
Insight: This is an absolute shock, as he was expected to miss 6-8 weeks. However, Aldridge is delaying surgery on his left thumb, and will give it a go. Get him in into your lineups immediately.
Nicolas Batum, F1/23/2015 8:29:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum is out for Saturday's game versus the Wizards.
Insight: This is no surprise as Batum is still dealing with his wrist injury. There is no one player that will fill the void left by Batum, so fantasy owners will have to look outside of Portland to find a fantasy replacement for Saturday.
Nicolas Batum, F1/23/2015 11:38:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum is questionable for Saturday's game against Washington due to a sprained right wrist.
Insight: Just when he appeared ready to bust out, particularly with LaMarcus Aldridge sidelined for up to two months, Batum hit's a speed bump. After scoring 27 on Wednesday, Batum shot 0-for-6 from the field Thursday and was held scoreless in 22 minutes against Boston.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F1/22/2015 9:32:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) will miss the next 6-to-8 weeks.
Insight: He will have surgery on his radial collateral ligament. This is detrimental news for owners. Dorrell Wright, Thomas Robinson, Meyers Leonard, and Chris Kaman should all benefit.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F1/22/2015 1:55:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge has a cast on his thumb and is receiving another MRI Thursday according to The Sporting News.
Insight: Aldridge did not get a reading on his first MRI because of swelling, so he needs another one. The cast, however, cannot be great. It would be a huge surprise to see Aldridge in the lineup on Thursday.
Damian Lillard, PG1/22/2015 9:25:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard had a poor shooting night but did avoid an overall fantasy dud on Wednesday.
Insight: Lillard was just 6-of-22 from the field and shot 20 percent from the 3-point line. Lillard did make all eight of his free throws, though, and had 22 points, six assists, three rebounds and two steals.
Nicolas Batum, F1/22/2015 9:22:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum led Portland with 27 points in the loss to Phoenix on Wednesday.
Insight: Batum sunk an incredible six 3-pointers and grabbed 10 rebounds. He also had five assists and a block. As long as LaMarcus Aldridge is out, Batum has potential to have games like this, but he will likely not make six 3-pointers in a game again. Plus, once Aldridge returns, Batum returns to a much small fantasy contributor.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F1/20/2015 4:05:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge left Monday night's game with a left thumb injury and has already been ruled out for Wednesday.
Insight: X-rays were negative, but he will not go with the team to Phoenix, instead he'll see a hand specialist. This is a huge blow for fantasy owners who cann't replace his 23.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.2 bpg. Thomas Tobinson would see more time, but he hasn't shown much fantasy value to date.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F1/20/2015 9:14:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge left Monday night's game with a left thumb injury.
Insight: X-rays were negative, but he'll has additional tests Tuesday. This would be ahuge blow for fantasy owners who couldn't replace his 23.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.2 bpg. Thomas Tobinson would see more time, but he hasn't shown much fantasy value to date.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F1/16/2015 11:01:00 PM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24 points to lead Portland in scoring on Friday.
Insight: It wasn't enough, however, as the Trail Blazers lost to the Spurs, 110-96. Aldridge was 9-of-18 from with eight rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block.
Nicolas Batum, F1/12/2015 9:56:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum is obviously over his sprained right wrist and back to being a multi-category contributor.
Insight: Batum posted 11 points, his first double-digit effort in four games, along with nine rebounds and six assists. The only upsetting part of his game is that even Chris Kaman is getting more shot attempts than Batum. We like it better when he's the fourth option, not the fifth.
Damian Lillard, PG1/12/2015 9:54:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard exploded for 34 points, three rebounds and seven assists Sunday night.
Insight: I guess the questions about his back have been answered. He's fine and a must start.
Damian Lillard, PG1/11/2015 9:35:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard had a rare off night, shooting just 3-of-10 for 16 points.
Insight: Lillard did have five rebounds, five assists and a steal, but also turned it over four times. He appeared to tweak something in his back in the previous game, so fantasy owners should wonder if this result was effected by the injury.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F1/9/2015 9:56:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge posted 24 points and 12 rebounds in a win against Miami Thursday night.
Insight: Aldridge shot 10-of-20 but with all his ballhandling didn't have a single assist. He's had one or zero assists in 12 of 32 games this season. The ball goes into the paint, but it doesn't come out very often.
Chris Kaman, C1/9/2015 9:50:00 AM
Description: Portland center Chris Kaman had his minutes limited in Thursday's win, as we told you he would, based on coach Terry Stotts latest announcement.
Insight: Kaman played 21 minutes scoring 10 points and hauling down nine rebounds. Given a restriction of 12-13 minutes per half at the maximum, this is about what you should expect.
Wesley Matthews, G1/9/2015 9:48:00 AM
Description: Portland shooting guard Wesley Matthews, who is dealing with a left knee injury, didn't seem restricted too much Thursday against Miami.
Insight: Matthews (16.6 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.3 apg) played just under 30 minutes, scoring 18 points with fife assists a couple of rebounds, a steal and a block. Continue to play him as you normally would.
Damian Lillard, PG1/9/2015 9:44:00 AM
Description: Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard returned to earth after a 39-point Wednesday, scoring just 16 in 33 minutesl, Thursday against Miami.
Insight: Lillard appeared to tweak something in his back, so fantasy owners should watch his performance going forward. He's playing at a top-10 level this season averaging 22.1 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 6.3 apg, 1.4 spg so any loss of playing time would be a fantasy disaster.
Chris Kaman, C1/8/2015 2:02:00 PM
Description: Portland center Chris Kaman will have his minutes limited, according to coach Terry Stotts.
Insight: Kaman played 27 minutes on Monday (8 points, 11 rebounds) and Stotts thought he tired in the end and wants him to play around 12-13 minutes per half at the most.

Description: Trail Blazers point guard Mo Williams (groin) isn't expected to play in Game 3 of the team's second-round series against the Spurs on Saturday, according to Erik Gundersen of The Columbian.
Insight: Williams sustained a groin injury in Game 6 of the first round against the Rockets and left Game 2 Thursday night after aggravating the injury. Earl Watson and Will Barton will see more minutes in Williams' absence as Portland tries to avoid going down three games to none.
Nicolas Batum, F5/9/2014 9:28:00 AM
Description: Portland small forward Nic Batum registered 21 points, nine rebounds and two assists Thursday in a loss to San Antonio.
Insight: That's more points than Batum had in his previous two games combined (16). Batum, an average three-point shooter at best, made 3-of-5 from that distance on Thursday. The 44 minutes he logged were his most since playing 45 against Houston in Game 4 of the first round.

Insight: Williams says he'll play through the injury. "It's the playoffs, man," Williams said. "I got to grind it out. The (expletive) hurts, but I'm going to do what I can."
LaMarcus Aldridge, F5/3/2014 9:20:00 AM
Description: LaMarcus Aldridge was outstanding in Friday's win over Houston.
Insight: The Portland forward delivered 30 points, 13 rebounds and two assists. With the exception of Wednesday's Game 5 when the Rockets limited him to just eight points on 3-of-12 shooting, Aldridge had a spectacular series (29.8 ppg, 11.2 rpg in six games) and was probably the best player on the court for either team.
Damian Lillard, PG5/3/2014 9:08:00 AM
Description: Damian Lillard hit the shot of his life Friday in Portland's series-clinching win over Houston.
Insight: With the Trail Blazers down by two and less than a second remaining, Nic Batum inbounded the ball to Lillard (25 points on 8-of-14 shooting) who sunk the game-winner from 25 feet out. Rockets coach Kevin McHale is going to get a lot of heat for this one because Houston still had a foul to give when Lillard put up his shot. It's the first time the Blazers have advanced past the first round since 2000.
LaMarcus Aldridge, F5/2/2014 11:19:00 AM
Description: Portland PF LaMarcus Aldridge was as hot as a firecracker in the first two games of the series, but has cooled off significantly in the last three.
Insight: Aldridge was averaging an obscene 44.5 ppg, 13.0 rpg, 2.5 bpg as Portland took a 2-0 lead in the series, but has averaged 20 ppg and 9.3 over the past three as his team lost two of them.
LaMarcus Aldridge, FHot4/25/2014 10:02:00 AM
Description: Portland PF LaMarcus Aldridge is hotter than any player in the league through the first two games of the series with Houston.
Insight: Aldridge is averaging an obscene 44.5 ppg, 13.0 rpg, 2.5 bpg. It's strange that the Rockets haven't been doubling him much and it they don't start he'll be a must start in every game for the remainder of the series.
