Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin (knee) will play Wednesday, according to the Wizards on Twitter.
Insight: Seraphin missed the last seven games. With Nene out with a knee injury until next month, Seraphin will split time at power forward and backup center with Trevor Booker and Drew Gooden, limiting the fantasy value of all three.

3/8/2014 8:09:00 PM
Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin (knee) will not play Saturday, according to the Wizards on Twitter.
Insight: Seraphin will miss his sixth straight game. Trevor Booker has been starting, but his playing time was cut down Wednesday to give more minutes to Drew Gooden, who had 12 points and three rebounds in 19 minutes.

3/4/2014 4:55:00 PM
Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin (knee) already has been ruled out for Wednesday's game, according to J. Michael of csnwashington.com. He did participate in a limited practice Tuesday, however.
Insight: Seraphin is missing out on a chance to play big minutes with Nene sidelined for six weeks. Trevor Booker (33 mpg, 14.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 1.5 bpg last two games) will continue to take advantage of the situation.

3/3/2014 6:25:00 PM
Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin (knee) will miss his fourth consecutive game Monday against the Grizzlies, according to the Wizards on Twitter.
Insight: Seraphin is missing out on a chance to play big minutes with Nene sidelined for six weeks. Trevor Booker took full advantage of Seraphin's and Nene's absence and posted 14 points and seven rebounds against Philadelphia on Saturday. He'll have a tougher time Monday against Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol.

3/3/2014 11:59:00 AM
Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin (knee) has missed three consecutive games and is questionable for Monday's game against Memphis.
Insight: Trevor Booker took full advantage of his and Nene's absence and posted 14 points and seven rebounds against Philadelphia on Saturday. He should be solid again on Monday if he doesn't have to share time with Seraphin.

3/1/2014 1:50:00 PM
Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin (knee) missed Thursday's game and is now listed as out for Saturday's game against Philadelphia.
Insight: Trevor Booker should be the big beneficiary with Nene sidelined for 4-6 weeks as well, but played just 21 minutes on Thursday night. Chris Singleton actually saw more minutes (25) and put up 13 points and nine rebounds.

Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin (knee) missed Thursday's game and is questionable for Saturday's game against Philadelphia.
Insight: Trevor Booker should be the big beneficiary if Seraphin can't go and with Nene sidelined for 4-6 weeks as well, but played just 21 minutes on Thursday night. Chris Singleton actually saw more minutes (25) and put up 13 points and nine rebounds.

2/27/2014 4:03:00 PM
Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin (knee) will miss Thursday's game, according to Michael Lee of the Washington Post.
Insight: Nene is out for six weeks with a knee injury of his own, so the Wizards will need to give most of the power forward minutes to Trevor Booker.

2/27/2014 10:36:00 AM
Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin is questionable for Thursday's game against Toronto due to a sore right knee.
Insight: Seraphin (5.5 ppg, 2.7 rpg) could have been a replacement for injured Nene (six weeks), but now most of those minutes should end up with Trevor Booker.

Description: Washington F/C Kevin Seraphin is unlikely to play Friday versus Minnesota. SOURCE: Michael Lee, Washington Post
Insight: Seraphin (4.7 ppg, 2.0 rpg) had an MRI on his right knee though luckily it didn't show anything serious. Consider him day-to-day.

1/26/2013 10:08:00 PM
Description: Wizards center Kevin Seraphin has seen his playing time shrink in the last five games. He's only averaging 5.6 points in 18 minutes during that stretch.
Insight: Seraphin's minutes have ebbed and flowed this season and right now they are moving in the wrong direction. We know what he can do when he gets consistent playing time -- he averaged 14 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 29 minutes in 11 games from Dec. 12 to Jan. 18.

1/14/2013 9:41:00 PM
Description: Wizards center Kevin Seraphin scored 18 points with five rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 28 minutes Monday versus Orlando.
Insight: Seraphin has been playing a larger role over his last eight games (29 mpg) after playing an average of just 22 minutes over his previous nine games. With Chris Singleton exiled to the end of the bench and Trevor Booker getting injured again after a one-game appearance, Seraphin is the No. 1 reserve at both power forward and center behind two injury-prone veterans.

12/28/2012 9:40:00 PM
Description: Wizards center Kevin Seraphin's 17 points on 8-of-18 shooting Friday were his most since Dec. 7.
Insight: Seraphin came in averaging just 7.1 points and 4.6 rebounds in 22 minutes over his last nine games. He played 32 minutes Friday but until we see some regularity in his playing time we can't recommend him as a fantasy option outside deeper leagues.

Hot12/8/2012 9:55:00 PM
Description: Wizards center Kevin Seraphin hasn't started since Nov. 30 but he's still recorded 16.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks over his last three games.
Insight: Washington's bench -- Jordan Crawford, Seraphin, Nene -- has better fantasy options than its starting lineup.

Hot11/30/2012 10:52:00 PM
Description: Since he moved back into the starting lineup five games ago, Wizards forward Kevin Seraphin is averaging 16.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.
Insight: Seraphin replaced Emeka Okafor in the starting lineup and is currently holding the injured Trevor Booker's starting power forward spot while Okafor starts at center. We expect Seraphin to eventually start at PF with Nene at C but you never know with the Wizards.

11/22/2012 12:38:00 PM
Description: Wizards center Kevin Seraphin started for the first time this season and scored 21 points with 10 rebounds and two blocks on 10-of-21 shooting Wednesday at Atlanta.
Insight: Seraphin replaced Emeka Okafor in the lineup to start the second half Monday and that carried over to Wednesday. The center has displayed excellent potential when given a chance to play but his opportunity might not last long now that Nene (12 points) is back.

11/10/2012 9:59:00 PM
Description: Wizards center Kevin Seraphin has been silenced the last two games after a hot start.
Insight: Seraphin's playing time has curiously dipped to just 14 mpg over the last two games after playing 32 minutes per game in the previous two. His production has slipped as a result. He's worth holding onto because he's shown what he can do with increased playing time.

Hot11/8/2012 4:45:00 PM
Description: Wizards center Kevin Seraphin has been a major force in his two games this season, both against the Celtics. Seraphin scored 19 points with seven rebounds in his season debut and had 16 and nine Wednesday.
Insight: Seraphin showed promise last season, averaging 14.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in 21 starts. Though he has come off the bench in both games, he was a heavier part of the game plan than starters Emeka Okafor and Trevor Booker, both of who are averaging less than 22 minutes per game.

11/3/2012 10:26:00 AM
Description: Wizards center Kevin Seraphin (calf) is expected to return from a calf strain Saturday against the Celtics.
Insight: Seraphin averaged 14.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in 21 starts last season and should jump right into the team's lineup Saturday next to Emeka Okafor with Nene (foot) out indefinitely.
