Description: Giants starter Jake Peavy will be on the hill in Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday against the Royals.
Insight: Peavy followed his Game 2 NLDS gem with a disappointing Game 2 start in the NLCS. Peavy will start in Kansas City on Wednesday. He has never made it out of the sixth inning in his seven postseason starts.
Description: Nuggets power forward Kenneth Faried could be line for a breakout season.
Insight: After averaging 13.7 points per game, 8.6 rebounds per game, 0.9 blocks per game, 0.9 steals per game, and shooting 55 percent from the field last season, Faried will have every opportunity to improve on those numbers in 2014-15. He clearly looked like an improved player when he suited up for the United States National team this past summer, and fantasy owners are hoping that play carries over to this season.
Description: Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari has potential to be a sleeper for the upcoming fantasy basketball season.
Insight: After missing last season due to knee surgery, Gallinari has looked good during the preseason. He should provide owners with a nice dose of points and three-pointers, making him a desirable middle-to-late-round pick.
Description: Dallas center Jason Spezza will play on the Stars top line Tuesday.
Insight: Playing alongside Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin can only help his fantasy value. Spezza may not be a 90-point scorer like he was in Ottawa for so many seasons, but he\'s got seven points in his first five games.
Description: Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk is expected to be in the lineup Tuesday night.
Insight: We were hoping Datsyuk would be able to stay healthy this season, but here we are five games into the season and Datsyuk is set to make his season debut. He played in just 45 games last season, the fewest in his 12-year career.
